[Resolved]  IOCL — complaint against Indane GAS LPG service

I m a consumer of Indane gas. My consumer no is K16094 & the agency Name is Kasna Gas agency, Greater Noida. I had booked for a cylinder (online booking ref no 4, at 8:46pm on 14 Nov 2008) but till now it is not Delivered at my home. Also their phone is impossible to get.

Dear Sir,

My consumer No is 4156.And i am a resisdent of panchkula. i had booked my gas on 23/12/2010. And even after several reminder, and my personal visit to Satyam Gas Agency located at sector 9/panchkula, they could not deliver me gas till today. I am very frustated by their services.
If you value your customer even 1%, then please direct them and take a firm and necessary action against this gas agency so that consumers are benefited.

And another issue is that i had applied for second cylender(DBC) on 1st dec 2010. Still they did not approve it.
I am very very very disappointed by your control over such gas agent(like your authorised satyam here). Please please...take a very firm action and solve both of my problems.

Indane LPG of Indian oil corporation / LPG Gas — Not attending phone call to register complaint and booking of refill and delivery of refill gas

I am a consumer of Indane gas . Noble Indane with distributor code no 89140447 is the supplying agency for me .For last couple of months the agency does not supply the gas in time. Sometimes it takes 15 days to supply the refiled gas from the date of booking . It does not attend my phone calls I have to wait for more than one hour to establish the contact with the agency . It deliberately does not pick-up the receiver .Today I have to try more than one hour to register a complaint to send a mechanic to fix-up the regulator to the cylinder as the washer of the cylinder was not properly set . The agency should be ad vised to behave properly and with courtesy and supply the refilled gas as for the stipulated time .
I had the bad experience of charging for unnecessary things by the agency in Ahmedabad. Is it mandatory to buy such things done by Indian Oil or agencies?

LPG Cylinder — Defected LPG Cylinder

Today i.e.27/02/2011 at 1615 hrs. Refilled LPG cylinder has been delivered by Jai Jawan gas service,Dwarka. Delivered LPG cylinder having alpha numerical code A-08 on the one side stem. When it was informed to delivery boy then, he said it is nothing & don’t worry. It is only formality of mentioning A-08 or else on Stem of LPG cylinder.

I have heard about LPG cylinder's expiry date but didn't know how to find LPG cylinder's expiry date? Expired Cylinders are not safe for use and may cause accidents. In this regard please be help us how we can check the expiry of LPG cylinders at the time & how we can check the expiry of LPG cylinders.

May please be enquired the same, if said delivered LPG cylinder is not ok as per your norms,then suggest me how to change the cylinder as earliest.

Indian Oil LPG Gas Service — Service charge without receipt

My Indane Gas dealer "Dum Dum Gas Supply Agency" 213/3,Dum Dum Road, Kolkata 700030, Ph.[protected] sent a Mechanic Rambilas Kamath by name against a complaint by me about gas leak who charged me Rs twenty for the service but declined to give any receipt.When enquired at the office I was told that it is not required. I had to listen to their advice as otherwise they may do some mischief and I may not get my GAS cylinder in time. I had this alternative to go to internet and find remedy. I heard that no charge should be levied as gas leak case is their concern. May be they know it and therefore do not want to keep any proof.
I could not find "Customer Service" at Kolkkata so that I could lodge a direct complaint to I request you to send this complaint to them OR send me their e-mail addres. Thanks.

Indane Gas — No action taken against my complaint

I Register my complaint earlier against Shakti Gas Agency.But till date no action has taken place.they still compel me to purchase gas stove if i need a new gas connection.
I m Shocked that such a reputed company is not taking any action against its gas agency.

We are extremely uncomfortable and unfortunate while booking and taking delivery of domestic LPG cylinders.

1. We have to try numerous times for getting the telephone connected for booking our requirement due to inefficient and insufficient number of booking clerks. It has been observed several times by me and my friends that the telephone receiver is kept a side to avoid receiving calls, so that the caller feels the telephone is very busy which is an act of arrogance and deliriction of duty. We feel extremely lucky whenver the call goes through.
2. We feel this problem can be avoided if the booking is accepted through SMS and email, provided the mobile numbers and email id and confirm back the serial number of booking without fail.
3. The delivery date and time are most unpredictable. We are tied down, indoors, till delivery. If the delivery boy comes and the home is found locked, the cylinder will go back and never come again. We have to forego a lot of outdoor assignments causing a lot of inconvenience, stress, mental agony and tension.
4. In our view this problem can be solved, if the date and approximate time of delivery are informed either by phone or sms, one day in advance. You are at liberty to charge for this service. Such simple measures will ease our lives and avoid avoidable problems with your co-operation and treating the consumer as a customer but not a beggar.
5. In the instant case, the bill no. 4261 was raised on 16/7/11 and delivered at 1:15pm on 31/7/11.
Can you assure and prove that the deliveries are effected without flouting the serial / queue, without any preferences and nepotism?
You may not imagine the torture and tension we face for 15 days.
6. The next booking is never accepted within 21 days from the date of delivery, meaning that we will be eligible somewhere in september with a gap of around 70 days from the date of our earlier booking which is quite abnormal and unjustified.
You are requested to stream line the booking and delivery operations and save us from avoidable harassment.
Don't you wish to help the consumers or do you suggest to take the help of judiciary to protect their rights?

I am venkatesan P., (A5) sabthagiri Enclave, janakiram colony villivakkam chennai 600049. a costumer of IOCL. My customer No is 36192. I booked for gas cylinder on 03/8/2011 Booking No is 231894 .18.08.2011 i received the sms cylinder has been delivered booking no 231894 cash memo 3325. But I did not get the refilled gas till now. There is no responds from agency office and telephone receiver is always out off order purposefully. I went directly to the office on 20/8/2011, then they said that cylinder has already sent. But If any emergency, like gas leakage or other dangerous condition we have no way for help or contact from agency office. They are selling the gas cylinder in black market. Please give me a reply as early as possible.

IOCL LPG DEPARTMENT — GAS NOT DELIVERED ON TIME

I am a consumer of Indane Gas with Consumer No. R55259 I have booked my Gas on 30 th Sep. 2011 but I have not received my Cylinder till Now[protected] I am having single connection .
Many time I have call to the Rajendra Gas service Ambabari Jaipur but always one Answer they have given "you will get today positively"

I am not able to understand why they people are not bother about the services and why they are not follow the rules .

pl. look into my problem as every time I have to suffer from this problem since I have transferred to this Gas station Previously the Niranjan Gas service VDN was very much excellent services .

Now the gas agency maneger tell me to give my s v .and they told me you have two gas cylinder but I have one cylindder and there computer registration swowing one connection but they give presur and my gas connection I D card they take and not give me.and my gas I D card write on there by mitakely 2 gas cylender.now they tell me to give Rs 900 to relief your I D card because here in I D write two connection and you have 2 cylinder.or doing verry bad behave. prasanna gas agency- LPG — non cooperation against my application for the additional cylinder

My name is ramshankar iam the customer of Indane gas , i applied for my second cylinder at prasanna gas agency at korattur, chennai . I received the letter from the Indian oil corporation for the amount of Rs.1450/- for the additional cylinder , i approached the office with the letter but the people in the office collected my mobile number and saying that the cylinder is not available we will inform u later ,

But iam waiting for nearly 7 months but no result
Kindly take the necessary steps to get my additional cylinder immediately.

indian oil corporation LPG gas — even after booking for than a month i don't receive gas

i applied for the fas on 11th march and i did'nt receive it so far . my 2nd cylinder is also finished. i went and complained about it yesterday and they said they are sending the cylinder within 2/3 hrs. Today again i went and complained and they say that they'll send it today. so far i'e not receied the cylinder

i am an indane gas cunsumer, but still i have a problem with our gas distributer ( shahid lal singh gas agency narnaul), since 2 days my regulator have been faulty but my distributer demand me for 100 rupees for replacement of regulator. but my regulator is only 5 months old, my regulator is in warranty. they do not want to give me any proof of 100 rupees for replacement of regulator . they do misbehave to me and other customers.
please take action agaist them.
