[Resolved]  Irctc — Session expired after making payment - No ticket booked -- bank account debited

Sir,
I faced a problem while booking a ticket now on irctc.co.in from Jamu Tawi(JAT) to Pune(PUNE) for 15th Apr 2009 in 1078 Jhelum Express.

After entering the details, I made the payment using SBI debit card. After making the payment I got the message that the session is expired.

I checked my SBI bank transactions and I can see a payment of 629/-. However when I see the list under "Booked Tickets" on the website, I dont see any reservation made.
Please advise what to be done since I have made a payment and there is no booking done by the website.

Also try this trick too.. try booking with irctc using "Internet Explorer" rather thatn "Firefox".. because for me transactions which fail in firefox have never failed in IE.. it worked for me..

I faced a problem while booking a ticket now on irctc.co.in New delhi to Tundla for 12rd June 2009 in 2382 POORVA Exp.

After entering the details, I made the payment using HDFC debit card. After making the payment I got the message that the session

is expired.

I checked my HDFC bank transactions and I can see a payment of 303/-. However when I see the list under "Booked Tickets" on the

website, I dont see any reservation made.

Please advise what to be done since I have made a payment and there is no booking done by the website.

Today I was trying to book the ticket from Ahmedabad to Jabalpur via Somnath express today 7th July, while booking the ticket amount around 369 was deducted from my bank account but could not get the ticket confirmation. After that I didn't get any message or mail etc from IRCTC. Please suggest or let me know when I will get my amount returned. My ID is rupendra99.

I booked a ticket from howrah to pune under the name of motilal das /m/21, for the date of 10 oct 2009, the payment got transacted by SBI card named under manyapu sujata with card number[protected] but failed to give a ticket and showed sessions failed.
pls send me the ticket to my email id or the refund the payment asap.

I booked a ticket from bhubaneswar to kharagpur under the name of C S DORA /m/61, for the date of 6 apr 2009, the payment got transacted by SBI card named under manyapu sujata with card number ***************5844 but failed to give a ticket and showed sessions failed.
pls send me the ticket to my email id or the refund the payment asap.

Today (12/02/2010) at 2:30 PM i was booking my ticket from "Hazrat Nizamudin" to "Bandra Terminus" in train no. 2908 and tickets availablitiy were 111 at that time. I made the payment from SBI debit card and found session expired.

Will i get my money back in the same account or is their any process to get my money.

How can i know whether there is really a ticket got booked or not?

Is there any number to be called for this complaint.

IRCTC — e ticket booking failed after making payment

i put in the details of the payment with my card no. and pin and everything and pressed the tab "pay". but nothing happened after tht and an error appeared on screen. i hope my money is not deducted already
on 26.06.10 i had book irctc ticket from New Delhi to nagpur but after debited from axis bank account Rs. 752.00 session is expired. Now what i expect is this money is refund or loss of money. i have seen the refund status their is shown payment is not received.

My travel date was 14.06.10 to Tamilnadu Express from new delhi to nagpur.

Plz. suggest me now what we have do to get the debited money.

Same problem to me too.. booked 5 tickets and after the payment, the session expired.. But the money got deducted from the account, How should I get the money back?
IRCTC - I booked one ticket for Satabdi Exp on 05.10.10 for 06.10.10 by e-ticket vide P.N.R No-[protected] and my transaction ID was [protected] from Howrah to Asansol for an urgent work at Asansol at 9.30 am. But on 06.10.10 when I reached Howrah on 06.10.10 at about 5.45 am, I came to know that the train will leave Howrah at 13.00 hrs. As I had an e-ticket so the counterman denied to cancel the ticket saying that you have to cancel it through e-cancellation system. As I didn't have any time at that point of time I had to travel by Black Diamond Exp on 06.10.10. After completing my meeting at about 12.30 pm, I opened my irctc a/c and asked for cancellation, but I am sorry to say that the system didn't allow me to cancel the ticket saying as the chart was prepared for this ticket you can not cancel it. Now can you tell me if the Satabdi Exp starts from Howrah at 13.00 hrs instead of 06.05 hrs, is it my fault. So I request your kindself to look into the matter and refund me my money back.

IRCTC website is full of such errors, there should be strict action taken against such sites .

The site should be audited for such black activities and should be fined.

the same thing happen to me, with SBI debit card also, i rebook again with payment. but its already debited from account two times. i talked to ccare they said it will be credited automatically credited to the account after 4 to 5 working days i am waiting
