[Resolved]  Irctc — Session expired after making payment - No ticket booked -- bank account debited

Sir,
I faced a problem while booking a ticket now on irctc.co.in from Jamu Tawi(JAT) to Pune(PUNE) for 15th Apr 2009 in 1078 Jhelum Express.

After entering the details, I made the payment using SBI debit card. After making the payment I got the message that the session is expired.

I checked my SBI bank transactions and I can see a payment of 629/-. However when I see the list under "Booked Tickets" on the website, I dont see any reservation made.
Please advise what to be done since I have made a payment and there is no booking done by the website.

After entering the details of the two passengers, I made the payment using ICICI debit card. After making the payment I got the message that the session is expired.

I checked my ICICI bank transactions and I can see a payment of 1011/- made in favour of BIL/[protected]. However when I see the list under "Booked Tickets" on the website, I dont see any reservation made.

Please advise what to be done since I have made a payment and there is no booking done by the website.

IRCTC NET WORK IS VERY SLOW AND WHEN WE BOOK THE TICKETS THROUGH IRCTC THE TICKET DID NOT BOOKED AND AMOUNT IS DEDITED TO OUR ITZ CASH A/C EVERY TIME
SO IMPROVE THE SPEED OF NET YOURS REGARD

I was making payment through my citibank debit card for booking my tickets but something went wrong and now my citibank account is showing that the payment has been made but irctc account is showing that the payment has not been received.

I completely agree to it, but is it worth telling it to this website. Is there any action do they or its just a frustration we are releasing it here expecting it o be heard or receive a apology mail from IRCTC.

IRCTC — transaction without booking ticket

i tried to book a ticket on 24-september 2008 from NEW DELHI to VARANASI in SHIVGANGA EXPRESS for 21 october2008.
But there is no booked ticket histroy in my account(my transactions) and Rupees 331/- debited from my bank account.
i want to get my tickets, PNR confirmation or get back my money, please do help.

Money deducted but ticket is not booked
Dear Sir / Madam,
Yesterday 24march morning i booked a E-ticket from Chengalpatu (CGL) to Trivandram (TVC) through IRCTC. After finishing booking of ticket with my SBI debit account there was an error accured. Finally i found that the money is deducted from my account but ticket is not booked.

For your info my the ref number of trancation is "[protected]", Narration is written as "[protected]-INDIAN RAILWAYS" my SBI account number is[protected]

Please do the needfull to get back my money.

IRCTC — session failed after making payment

sir,
I booked a ticket from bhubaneswar to kharagpur under the name of C S DORA /m/61, for the date of 6 apr 2009, the payment got transacted by SBI card named under manyapu sujata with card number ***************5844 but failed to give a ticket and showed sessions failed.
pls send me the ticket to my email id or the refund the payment asap.

After entering the details, I made the payment using SBI debit card. After making the payment I got the message that the session

is expired.

I checked my SBI bank transactions and I can see a payment of 403/-. However when I see the list under "Booked Tickets" on the

website, I dont see any reservation made.

Please advise what to be done since I have made a payment and there is no booking done by the website.

Dear Consumers,

I must congratulate IRCTC for providing a wonderful service to its millions of travelers.
On-line transactions has its perils as connections get disrupted just when a payment is made but IRCTC not issuing the tickets. I had this experience several times while booking tickets online, but the money is credited back to the account within 48 hours without deducting any charges either by IRCTC or the bank.

So, rest assured, your money will be refunded, check your bank account after two days.
transaction without booking ticket
i tried to book a ticket on 2-june 2009 from GORAKHPUR to NEW DELHI in VAISHALI EXPRESS for 28 JUNE 200.
But there is no booked ticket histroy in my account(my transactions) and Rupees 332/- debited from my bank account.
i want to get my tickets, PNR confirmation or get back my money, please do help
U will get ur money back.. thats how irctc works.. at times booking fails and the amount gets debited from ur account.. this is due to some error either on part of irctc or the bank.. such failed transactions will be automatically refunded by irctc within 2-5 days.. u neednt file any special complaint in this regard..

Also pls note that ur ticket will not get booked.. i[censored] still need to book ur ticket u may re-try again.. tickets are booked only i[censored] are allotted the PNR number.. u can see details of failed transactions at the link 'refund status ==> failed transactions' in irctc website..
