I mohd rafiq, had purchased a lg flat slim model no 29fg2rge ctv on 12th january, 2008 from ajanta electronics, sakinaka, mumbai. The tv was faulty having patches which on complaint the dealer got it replaced but the replaced tv too consisted of the same problem which then the dealer forwarded to the company.


A technician was sent from the company who visited my place and adjusted some yoke in the tv which was of no use and indeed the patches increased to the worst .Then the tv got replaced by the company on 12th february, 2008.The replaced tv had the same problem on which i asked for a senior engineers assistance, to which a technician mr rajbhar visited and said that he would send his senior to see the problem .A senior engineer mr. Singh visited my place after 2-3 days and to my surprise he explained me the difference between a mercedes car and a maruticar .It was really great to know that you have people who can explain such things rather than what their work is, he assured and promised me of inquiring whether the same problem occurs in other tvs and would call me, but he dint returned even a call.
The other technician i.E. Mr rajbhar said to me that your tv is cheap therefore it has such low picture quality which he said in front of the dealer. Is it that you make big promises about your globally renowned products that are said to be best in class and of the highest quality which your own technicians consider to be a cheap product.
Now i too think that your senior engineer and technician were correct about the quality of your product.
By now i am fed up of your cheap quality of service and product .I even called up the mumbai branch manager mr. Ankur joshi (Mobile no. [protected]) on 11th april, 2008 who assured me of returning back a call for a feedback and said that, "i know my job". And now even after 4 days i understand how much he knows about his job and on what basis lg appoints responsible people that too in customer services.
I am totally frustrated and exhausted by this sort of irresponsible and irritable behaviour of your technicians, senior engineer, service manager and dealer.The dealer even insist me on getting other brands. You make big promises about the quality charter, your customer services, responses and quality products and even the 6 sigma's.
At the end i would like to say that i want a refund in a week or else i would to my dissatisfaction would hav to go to consumer guidance society and other such organisation to put a light on your customes services and your commitment to excellence and quality as mentioned in your advertisements and booklets.
I hope to notice some response or action as soon as possible

I have purchased LG AC Window model no. G2 DF 1 S. No. 03814 from Mayur Electronics Ghatkopar (E) near odeon, Mumbai 400075 on 19/10/07 invoice no. 2771. Since I am Senior citizen, there was immediarely winter the A C was put in action for about 3 months. The use of AC was started in and after middle of February 2008. It was noticed that there is " no cooling " How ever it was tried three four times by varying temperature settings. Even at 16 degree C tempeature there was " no cooling " and I have to sleep with fan at full and A C was " ON " for whole night. I complained to Mayur and he in turn to LG. Some people came for servicing of A C. This was done twice. But the result was negetive. The summer started. I was unable to use A C after repeated complaints the service persons from Sai Enterprises Ltd. LG electronics India Ltd. service division Mr. Rehan, Mr. Tushar, Sardarji, and others visited three to four times. One Mr. Joseph from the same service division also visited and carried out some tests. He was confirmed that there is some defect in A C. Besides that he informed me that there are many more complaints for this model of AC. He was having list and papers of complaints of other purchasers of Garodianagar Ghatkopar (E) having the same complaints of " no cooling " He also informed that this model is defective. He informed that he would recommand for replacement of A C. I have written every time on the paper produced by every visitor for signature for having visited for complaints, that " there is no cooling " Later on in the month of May 2008 Mr. Methew of Service Division collected A C for inspection in their workshop. After couple of days he reinstalled AC in my house. It was gathered that he has checked gas leakages. I used AC on the same day, but the result was same i. e. " no cooling " I phoned to Mr. Methew and he informed he would inform to LG company and ask for replaement of this defective piece. The entire summer I could not use AC., because fan was cooler then A C. In the mean time I was moving from post to piller for rectifying the defect or replacement and also complaining to the distributor, M/s Mayur electronics. Till date i. e. till 12/09/2008 the complaint is unattended. Last week company sent his person Mr. Mansur Aehamad for inspection. Now he says that this A C is for 100 SFT. area of room, and asked me what is area of my room I said it is 108 sft. But I immediately asked him for 8 sft. more area there would "zero cooling " such that when A C was " ON " and set at 16 degree C I have to sleep without baniyan. I offered him to come and sleep in the room for the whole night with A C " ON " and ascertained. This was told to previous visitors of the company also. But the complain is not attended.
It is my reading that the company wants to escape from the responsibility and pass the time till one year guarentee period passes. The dealer M/s Mayur electronics also have hands in gloves with LG company but uses sweet tongue with us and tells us to fight with the company and they would support me. This appeares to be game plan of Company and distributors.
I have framed in my mind the LG company is useless and recommand not to purchase any product of this company and also purchase AC or other electronic products from reputed distributors. LG has in their mind to take away hard earned money of the people / public and dump rejected or defective material to the houses.
" If LG people are reading this complaint I earnestly request you to please look into the matter and either reove the defect of the AC or replace the defective piece because me and my wife are senior citizen and we have purchased such branded AC first time in our life and we faced this. "

LG Flatron TV With Dish TV — Not Delivered till Date

LG - 390 Litres Double Door Fridge — malfunctioning of fridge

i brought this fridge for app.30, 000 Rs and 1 month after the date of purchase it began functioning improperly. the refrigerator stops cooling on its own and 2-3 yrs have passed there is no improvement. the engineers came for 3-4 times but their attempts to settle the fridge were useless.

LG Intellocook — not working

it is not working.Purchased from johnson pulpally.a mehanic from the shop came and replaced a part. Still it is not working.

LG/ refrigerator — very poor service with complete disregard for customer care

My refrigerator was to be fixed by the LG person two week sago, he came took out the parts, left it running without a fan and disappeared and since then multiple follow up have resulted in nothing. Nobody comes or calls and the refrigerator is in danger of losing the compressor with no fan.

Worse the service center has no numbers, they are not even willing to give the number of the gurgaon office or even their corp. office. The standard reply is we are a service center and we have no numbers. My first complaint was on 30th aug., next on 7th sept. ( N8C[protected] and another one today on the 20th.

Will never purchase a LG product. I have 3-4 IFB products and they are so prompt with their service, will stick to them,

very disappointed.

I have purchased a fridge of 310 liters from bikaner 10 months back. just one month before it got short-circuit in side and had considerable amount of damage. When I have complained about this service engineers had recommended for replacement since product is under warranty period . so I send the required cash receipt and warranty card for your perusal and necessary action through sigma services in Mumbai . They promised me LG is going respond within 10 days for replacement through its dealers but till now nobody has turned up. LG Double Door Fridge — FRIDGE SECTION GETTING WET

I purchased 9 nos split Ac from Kishika Temperatures- Vasai. I was to purchase more 5 units of Lg, but instead i opted for carrier Ac. I really felt sorry for myself because for repair of my Ac (even under warranty) i had to run from pillar to post to get it done. The dealer i mentioned above was not at all concern about the critical condition i had to suffer for not rectifying the machine in time.
I am not at all satisfied with after sales services of LG. I will surely sue for damages that cost me because of the negligent attitude of the dealer. Untill today my issue is not resolved.I had given the deadline for repair of my Ac, but not a single representative from LG was able to solve the problem in time. Therfore i am compelled to take legal action, and now it has become a prestigious issue to me to TEACH them a lesson. LG Ac service is pathetic.
IF the company entertain or keep dealers like KISHIKA TEMPERATURES with them, then i am sure the day will come when LG will be nowhere amongst the competative market of today. BEAWARE that Consumers are conscious and aware nowadays.I am damn sure that from today onwards i will strongly recommend other branded AC"s instead of LG, to my all bussiness associates. A little Negative propoganda can make a big difference.

LG — LG is worse in servicing, very poor service and the quality is very very bad

I have purchased LG washing machine and TV and VCD. Washing machine cost me around 20k, but hardly i used twice are thrice and now its not working . I called up all the service center prople and no support. Please don't buy any LG product, its very poor in quality and service.Its my very bad experience with LG

LG — Defective Product, LG not owing it.

I had purchased LG Split AC in April 2006 & was satisfied with its performance. I purchased 2 more AC’s thereon & was a satisfied customer.
However, yesterday I had an issue with the First AC that I had purchased. It was very sparingly used & suddenly it stopped working. I called the LG Support & they sent 2 Service Technician to my place.
They came, checked & to my surprise they confirmed that AC gas has leaked & that is the reason it has stopped working. They also confirmed that One of the Capacitors have also gone bad & needs to be replaced.

They also checked the place where it leaked & it was found at the back of the indoor unit. They confirmed that it was most likely an installation failure or something as that part cannot be touched in anyway. When I asked them to repair the issue they said that I would have to pay for the same.

My question is very simple, Why should I pay for something that went wrong because of poor quality of product or lack of technical competency of installation LG technicians?
It should be the company who has to fix this issue & they should fix it completely.

LG 32' LCD — harrasement and cheating

My self nikunj chaudhari, i bought LG 32" LCD from Croma, Surat last year.
I have given down payment around Rs.16000/- and selected Rs.3833/- instalment for 8 month from bajaj finance, located in croma, surat only.
For that i have given 8 cheque to Mr. Gopal who is working in bajaj finance, i have mentioned amount and did a/c pay simbol and sign all cheque that time he told me that leave blank a title because there is stemp of bajaj finance,
After two days he came to me and told me that your two cheque were missing by me, can you provide me two more cheque? and he said i ll stop those two missing cheques as i have known person in Uti bank.
And i have given two more cheques to Mr Gopal. But after that i came to know that those two missing cheques were already debited in my account. And already one cheque debited Rs.3833/- and one cheque bounce and charge Rs.394/-. which is not my mistake. so i have made stop payment of all cheques given by me. Mr. gopal had given comitment to me that it was my mistake and if this case not being solved, i ll pay you this amout.
After that more than 50 times i have requested to solve the problem. And lot many time i have put effort to solve this problem from my side as when your people (MR. JAY PATEL AND MR. GOPAL)found that those two cheques were credited in surat peoples bank, surat, and said me, you have to come to help us to get details of guilty person at that time i have help them too. after that they told me to do a police complain at that time also i was also ready but after that insidence your people never came to me.
During all this harrasment i said them i m ready to pay all instalment but i need deduction of those amount which i was not liable to pay that is Rs.3833+Rs.394.
And still i want to pay all remaining instalments minus abouve amount as i m not liable to pay but your people never came to me. Even MANGER OF CROMA AND ACCOUNTANT ALSO AWARE THIS AND THEY HAD GIVEN ME ASSURANCE TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM BUT THEY ARE ALSO FAIL TO DO SO.
REQUEST YOU TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE.
SHOULD I EXPECT POSITIVE REPLY FROM YOU?????

last month i bought one lg lcd 17 inch monitor. the next wek i showed one red pixel on the display. i asked the service centre in chennnai. they laughed at me and said they would take steps only if it is five pixels. this is an irresponsible answer. they are not giving proper support to the customers. now i hate lg products. so people don't purchase lg products. i[censored] do sure u will face problem. buy the best one if it costs more than lg also. the i'll be right choice.
we had installed LG Split AC of 1 tonn last year .it had compleated its warrenty period.Now it is not working .
Name of the dealer is AIRMAX-Goa.
We had lodge the complaint to the dealer about our problem on 19/09/2008 he told us on telephone that it is a problem of card. Now you have to replace the card...end of the story.
No reply, no visit by LG service personnel till the date.
if this is the case then why LG shows advertise on TV of with in 24 Hrs visit?
Dealer also says LG is use less Company. Dont buy their product, they dont have spares

Dear Sir,

I had purchased a LG refrigerator model GL244GP4 from your esteemed dealer M/S Hindustan Traders Co. South Patel Nager New Delhi 8 on 27/07/08 vide Bill Book no.103 and Serial No.5117. During the initial stage after installation the ref. started creating problems of absorbing the water in side the vegetables. The matter was reported to your consumer care centre and the executive told us to adjust the knobs of refrigerator and fridge compartments. We did the same as per the instructions given by him. But the action could not affect the performance of the refrigerator, the vegetables are still absorbing the water and getting sauugy and destroyed.

It seems that the water evaporating system of ref is not working properly and water gets accumulated inside the ref and gets into the vegetable. It is therefore requested that this faulty ref may kindly be replaced with a new one.
