Dear Mr. Narula, Greetings to you, My car was running fine before I went to Maruti Sales & service (Delhi), Naraina Indl area, Phase-1 for a routine service. We are regular subscribers of maintenance /repair services of above mentioned outlet/station for three of our Maruti cars (2 Wagon R and 1 Alto). My recent visit was a nightmare & can be a lesson for more than million of loyal Maruti customers. This time I paid Rs.4325 for normal check-up, along with change of engine oil, break oil & gear oil. Mr Sapan Kr. Sarkar was the service advisor assigned for the job. At the time of Delivery(20/08/10) he told me that vehicle is working fine but he found some trace of engine oil in coolant box. I told him to check if some problem is their or can arise in near future. He assured me that they had a thorough check of machinery and car will run fine. Although, I can come down for a check after 1000 km or one month, if needed. Now just 4 days after getting my car back with their assurance(yesterday,25/08/10), I have to stop midway due to heavy smoke & foul smell coming out of engine of car. I called Mr. Sarkar & his office several times for assistance at the time of this mishap. but of no use. Somehow, I managed to get a tow support from a friend’s car to reach the same service station again. Now they want me to pay between Rs.12,000/ to 27,000/ or even more, depending upon damage occurred. Moreover they don't have their mechanics available even today(26/08/10) to check the car. Now my vehicle is lying unattended at the mercy of Maruti service station staff (Maruti Sales & service (Delhi), Naraina Indt area, Phase-1) from last two days (with Job card number JC[protected]. There was also some disparity in mileage mentioned on two job cards as compare to actual distance traveled in these four days. My question is why should I (a customer pay for any kind of damage/loss occurred due to negligence of Maruti service staff. Although I am also forced to bear cost of managing without my vehicle for number of days. I already mailed my comments through feedback form available at Maruti service station.Pls. check and acknowledge. This e-mail is sent to you to make sure your valued customers are served better. 1) WE ARE HAVING THE PROBLEM IN FRONT BRAKES AS THE BRAKES ARE LESS EFFECTIVE & EVEN NOISE IS COMING FROM FRONT SIDE WHILE PRESSING THE BRAKE PEDAL EVEN AT A SLOWER SPEED. I HAVE ALREADY COMPAINT ABOUT THIS PROBLEM TO THE SERVICE CENTRE MANY TIMES BUT ALL THE TIMES EXCUSES HAVE BEEN GIVEN & STILL MY PROBLEM HAS NOT BEEN RECTIFIED.EVEN THERE IS A NOISE WHILE FULL TURNING THE STEERING.
2) I HAVE TAKEN THE ACCIDENTAL CLAIM IN THE MONTH OF JUNE 2009 FOR DENTING & PAINTING AT LOWER LEFT SIDE RUNNING FENDER, THE JOB DONE WAS SO POOR THAT THE PAINT HAS SWOLLEN UP & ITS CHIPPING FROM THE PLACE EVEN SERVICE CENTRE HAVE BROKEN THE WHEEL COVER & MADE PAINT ROUGH AT THE ROOF OF MY CAR. INSPITE OF COMPLAINING ABOUT THE BODY PAINT & WHEEL COVER, SERVICE CENTRE REFUSED TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM.
3) EVERY TIME LATE IN DELIVERING THE CAR
YOU ARE REQUESTED TO PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS MATTER AS IT IS ALREADY VERY DELAYED BY YOURS AUTHORISED SERVICE CENTRE.

Maruti suzuki Ltd. — POOR AFTER SALES AND SERVICES
MUL is the not giving any attention towards after sales and service that is being given by their respective service center. I have a Wagnor registration no. DL3CAD8321, which was given for service at SANSAR SERVICES(an approved service center of MUL), has a water diposition problem below the mat(i.e. at driver seat), which was left after service, by its authrosied service center (SANSAR SERVICES), which caused a fault smell due to spung(foam) and water reacted causing pungent smell, Now the dealer is asking a sum of EIGHT HUNDRED INR (Rs. 800-/) for changing the spung (foam).Kindly help us to solve the existing problem
