[Resolved]  Max Newyork life — Worst Service

Hi,



This is Yogesh Varma working with Geometric Limited. I am one of the unfortunate customers of Max New York Life rather a victim of very unprofessional and undisciplined organization.



Basically I opted for “Long term to age 60 plan” in the year Nov05. Here starts the worst story –



No one bothered to ensure that all relevant documents will reach to me so that I can use the same for Income Tax Exemption under Section 80C
In last three years, I never got any communication regarding anything from your organization
In last three years, Every year I have to do rigorous follow-up with MNYL for the receipts
One fine day I got a call from Customer Care to update the records with Address and Phone number, then I got more than 6 calls with the same agenda, even after providing my accurate information the same was not updated properly in the system.
MNYL – Customer Care doesn’t understand the importance of customer service at all.
In the current month I got a call from MNYL regarding the payment against the policy, it was a very unpleasant surprise for me as I understand that the person talking to me was not at all having any COMMON sense to talk to the customer. When I requested for the policy closure, I got the very blunt answer that I will have to visit your branch. Then again multiple rounds of discussion with Customer Care and Ms. Vrishali. She assured me that the representative will rush to my place to understand and handle all grievances. She gave me the conformation call for the appointment too and the appointment has been fixed @04.00 PM. On 03.45 PM I got a call from MNYL with the same approach of cheating as I could clearly sense that instead of bothering for the customer she was interested more in selling the product. turned out to my place and never bothered even to call me.


Conclusion: MNYL still needs to learn lot of professionalism



Effects:

I had some plans to invest some amount in a tune of few lakhs, I have already dropped the plans.

I will display the entire episode on Geometric Notice Board. I am sure you got the message

I agree with you. NYML service is really bad service. I have never seen in my whole life. These People sell their policies in unrealistic manner. They distorted the facts and there is lot of diff between their words and actual policy.
Dear Sir,

This is to inform you that I am present policy holder of your company, I am sorry to say that you have charged tax on premium. I come to know from other insurance companies like LIC, Bharti, Bajaj and other insurance companies. These companies is not charging any service tax but you have charged service tax and also you have excuse to customer that government of India apply this tax. If this is true at your end the same well apply on other insurance companies but no other companies have charged the tax.

Please also note that in your policy book clearely written that premium will same till the policy end (Kindly read the para carefully).

You are kindly requested to send me the notification or proof of tax apply by the Government of India.
