Agent recorded my booking as a drop to airport whereas i booked the cab for railway station. because of this i had to pay extra (almost double the amount) because of extra kilometers. When i complained to your call center, i was told i will get a call from concerned department. Its been more than 8 days now and i have called more than 5 times and i get to hear the same thing.

I had an International flight to catch from Delhi. I had booked a Meru from for the 6th of September 2014 for 12:10am. I got the confirmation from Meru and also got the driver details in a while. I spoke to the driver and he told me that he is stuck in traffic and will be 5 - 10 mins late. The driver did not turn up till 12:45 am. I called him a couple of times and every time he told me he is almost there. At 12:45 I was sure I would miss my flight if the driver did not turn up, so I called him and told him that I would miss my flight if he was not here in the next 2 mins. The driver to my surprise got upset and told me that now you will not get a cab and switched off his mobile. To my surprise he also generated the bill as i got and email from Meru for a Trip Receipt. I somehow managed to reach the Airport and after my security check called up Meru and filled a complaint. I also told them that i will not be in India for a week and will follow up on the action taken when i am back. To my surprise i got and email from Mr. Jaiswal( Meru Employee) stating that the driver has been warned. He also wrote that the action taken depends on the nature of mistake and history of complaints. I dont think the a warning was enough for the what the driver had done. I had asked Meru to make sure that i get an Apology from the Driver and Meru but Mr. Jaiswal chose not to reply to my emails.

MERUCAB WORST SERVICE., BOOKED CAB ON 23/12/2014 one day prior to my trip to airport (dep time at 7:15 in the morning) and same was confirmed on the 23/12 night with ref no 33248677.On 24/12/2014 in the morning at about 5:30, i received message that MERU cab is not available and allocated Meru Flexi with car AP29TV6536 .I called the mobile and he said he cannot attend as he (Mr. Ravi) is faraway, asked to call cutomercare. Again I was allocated another cab (Mr.Pandu) AP28VA0404 and when I called him he can attend only after 1 hour i.e at 7:00 in the morning.Again I called customercare asking how my cab is confirmed last night., he said calls are taken before 24 hours but cab is allocated prior to 20 Minutes only. (THUS MAKING US FOOLS AT THE LAST MINUTE) Our boarding plane is at 7:15 and even at 6:00 I dont have cab. Any how we reached airport because of our co-brother and at 7:08AM I got message my trip is completed.SHAME ON YOUR SERVICES
i had the worst experience after booking CAB through MERU, i decided not to drive my car because of 31st Party and choosed MERU cab service, I received a message from MERU against my Booking ID 33554943 which contain the detail of CAB and Driver DL1RY4957 and Driver RAM LAKHAN [protected], when i came out of the party around 12:30 i did make so many calls to Driver and to MERU guys but i found no responce, me and my wife were on road and number of Drunkers were roaming on the Roads, after 1 and half hour we found a Three wheeler and reached home.
i have only one word for MERU very irresponsible guys and pethetic serive i will all my friends and collegue not to use MERU Service

I booked a Meru Genie cab for delhi airport for 1130pm and was told it would show up ontime, as this was the first time I was using the service, i asked for rates and was told its 90 for first 4 kms and then Rs 10/km, (airport is at a distance of 60 km), During the ride at half way point, I saw the metter was racing at 900 rs, I said why is it so high and was told we gave you the higher level cab ? i said seriously without even asking me? I didnt had cash so the driver told me mid way you will have to pay no options, The only option i was given was to take me to an ATM, i need to pay up otherwise i cant ride, it was middle of the night, I didnt even had options as i wasnt even sure what would happen if I didnt obey- so in the middle of somewhere at 1am i am taken to an ATM leaving my luggage in the car, i had to go without any choice. I wasnt sure if the driver would fled away or someone would rob me at the ATM, disgusting experience.
I was made to pay Rs 1900, for a service that would had costed me Rs 600, They wont return my calls as well. cheaters and scammers.

I had horrible experience hiring Meru cabs. My wife was carrying, extremely unwell and I had to take a flight back to Kerala from Bangalore for her hospitalisation. Spent a fortune for the flight and assuming Meru will arrive on time, I booked the cab. During the travel to airport, the cab broke down in the middle of the city(believe me the reason was too silly to be even discussing here - car ran OUT OF FUEL!). Due to the delay in getting another cab by them, I lost my flight and close to 25K on account of that! Finally with no option left, I had to take back the replacement cab back to my home and book another set for tickets for next day.
With hope, I complained to Meru and I was shocked to hear from them that it was my mistake that I didn't hire the cab with enough room to handle such breakdowns. I tried escalating the matter to their top, but in vein. They were very arrogant and didn't even bother to check the genuineness of the case. Clear instructions were apparently given on how to handle such escalations and hence I never could take it to their management. Had I got some time, I would have got a complaint registered with consumer forum, but couldn't. Even more hurting was that they even charged me for a drop back home!
The trauma that my wife went through when she was at her atmost unhealthy condition was apart form all of the above.
Since then, I never hired or recommended Meru even during at most needs. I was happy with local cabs. Now with Ola and other players coming in, it is a big relief for me.
Friends, Whether we know each other or not, my sincere advise is to stay away from Meru. Book any other cab, you will be better off, safe and treated well! Meru is arrogant. Meru is unreliable. Meru is humiliating!

I do not really care if you take any action against this or not, however I would like each of you to know the kind of fraudulent activities being done by Meru Cabs, in absolute violation of the law.

The support center agent never informed me that he had booked a "Meru-Flexi" cab and also did not mention about the pickup fee and other charges attached to it.
For a 7 km travel via a regular Meru cab, I would've paid only Rs. 150, but because of the support center agent's blunder, I have had to pay double i.e. Rs. 300.
I'm literally disappointed with the way Meru has dealt with this issue. It is an absolute case of fraud and carelessness by Meru.
If someone had booked a cab to travel within the city, they should have provided a cab service that comes under the Radio Taxi License. Instead they allocated a cab that was under Tourist Permits / State Permits, which is absolutely a violation of rules and a fraudulent activity by Meru Cabs.
If they did not have a "Meru Cab", they should have asked if I am willing to take a "Meru-Flexi" cab and how much I will be charged for the same, instead they assumed things and booked the cab without asking me.
If they investigate or not, I have already had a tormenting experience and do not intend to take the Meru Cab service anymore. They are not worth it anymore.

Just for name sake thee comments added by meru.. Situation is still same.. we faced same situation today just now.These are a team of , unreliable. This agency, after giving confirmation on booking cancelled the cab and send an sms at time when the cab was supposed to arrive. When called, they disconnected the call several times and finally when it was connected, they said they are transferring the call to concerned department and they disconnected the call.These people charge like hell for their nonsense service. They are a bunch of who do not have any sense and they don't care of the problems caused by last minute cancellations. Never ever book a meru cab.

Try making payment through My Wallet using Kerb pick and it wont even register the cab number. Try making payment through "pay now" in My Wallet, app gets stuck.
Issues continue and with regards to its reliability, i have been left in situations where cabs don't turn especially during morning airport drops and yes, i have had 3 instances of almost missing the flight in Delhi.

At 3.15 I got cal frm driver that he is nt coming. I called meru cab customer care again and they arrange another cab for me at 3.45 pick up time.
I again got call frm driver at 3.40 that he is nt coming. I again called customer care. This drama continues for 1 and 1/2 hr. I hav got 4 msges of diff driver and pick up time extended by 2 hours.
My wife has been taken to hospital on bike at her very critical condition. I told my problem to customer care but they didn't responded and talked very casually.
I have just searched contact details of neeraj gupta (MD).
Now going to register complaint against him and meru cab services in pune in consumer court.
I have all msges ready with me.

At 0346 on 21 09 2015 received sms saying that vehicle has reached pick up location.
I called Mr Mohd Akram on the above metioned cell nbr at 0412hrs and again at 0414...My call was neither answered nor picked up..

Hope there were less than one star for rating. Pathetic service. I booked the cab one day before journey date to appear in exam and arranged the cab at 0600 hrs on next day. I got up at 0500 hrs and also confirmed by telephonic conversation with the executive. At 0550 hrs, I got to call for cancellation of the trip. Really disgusting. I had to rush and I hardly could attend the examination. Thumbs down...
Don't Ever Travel with Meru the worst experience I ever had any how nowadays there are other services available like Uber, OLA, etc
I had to travel Innovation film city in Bangalore with my family. Booked Cab one day in advance. Confirmed the destination, approximate cost and willingness to provide cab to that destination as I had a bitter experience with OLA cab previous day which made postpone my plan. Customer care agreed for everything and confirmed booking. 15 mins before my start time next day, I receive an SMS stating Cab driver cancelled my booking. Cab driver said, he car do not have permit to travel the location. I should have booked my cab in Meru Flex. Customer cares response is to make another book and wait for the cab. Meru app shows no cabs being peak hours (8:00 am). When I started shouting at customer, they politely respond that they have registered a complaint, but I was on peak of frustration as to whom/why am I speaking these stupid guys. 2nd day I had to post pone my trip because of these Meru Cab. I hired a private taxi round trip on the 3rd day and took my family to film city. Worst experience with Meru Cabs, they just ditch at the right time. They behave as if an agent between Customer and Cab drivers. Its almost 10 days since I have returned but still could not control myself when I think about Meru
