[Resolved] Meru Cabs — Not dependable | |
This is the second time I had bad experience with Meru cab service. I had booked via telephone booking, yesterday a cab for Domestic airport drop for 5.30 am today. I got the sms immediately about the booking confirmation Reference no – AL1A4166 I was told that I will receive a SMS about the driver name and contact details 30 mins prior to the schedules pick up time. Which is 5 am. Until 5.30 am no sms, so I tried calling your numbers 44224422, I was 34th in wait list, the call lasted approx 17 mins, and was adruptly disconnected when I was 2nd in wait list. Again I dialed I was 26th in wait list, again 15 mins and I was 2nd in wait list and the call dropped. Then I had no other option but to take my own car to airport, where I will have to bear the heavy parking charges as I am going out of town for 4 days. While I was driving I received the sms at 5.55am, which gave me the name and number of driver . whom I immediately called and he said he was not aware of this pick up and he had already logged off. The cab no : MH01JA9674, Name – Sachin Ram Sharan Phatak, mobile no – [protected]. Such is the pathetic service that Meru cab service is offering, this was my first attempt and is last . On 10th Nov.2016, at 10 am we boarded a cab from Bangalore Airport to Basaveswara Nagar. Cab No.KA 53A 7658 and the Driver was one Mr. Basavaraju of Sanjay Nagar.Bill was 930 Rs. but we paid 1000 Rs. Bill was not given. Driver told that the Bill will come from the company directly to our email. Till now not received. Bill needed immediately for reimbursement. Pls. do the needful. I made booking from okhla to chandni chowk, booking was done n pick up time was 3pm near 2:50, I got a call from chauffeur Sunil Yadav that he will not drop us at chandni chowk but very far from that place .we said no as I am with my mother it is not easy for her to walk a long distance, it is company 's duty they would inform me immediately at the time of booking that we r not providing our services, just coz chauffeur does not want to go, y would we suffer.n he speaks very rudely that I will not go there
Then I got a call from the co.executive named Rahul, I told him the situation, he said I will check n cal u back.20 mins had passed no call from there side.
Then I myself called to co. My call was put on hold for 15mins n they said will arranging another driver named Vinay for us n he will b there within 10mins. I called him he said m coming. We said ok.
Again I got a call from the co.did chauffeur Sunil yadav (the first chauffeur) reached you, there is huge lack of coordination in the co.she didn't know anything
Again I called Vinay at what time he will be there he said Mam your booking has been cancelled, I said m waiting for u n I have not cancelled any booking, he said mama I don't know but your booking is showing cancelled on my device. I don't know without informing me how they can cancelled my booking.
Really first and last experience with meru cabs which was absolutely pathetic.below are the sms that I received from co.
