[Resolved]  Mts — harassment by company for forcing for double payment of one bill

I had a MTS broad band data card post paid connection no. [protected] and A/c Id No.[protected]. For which I regularly made payment. In March 2012 according to the bill I made a payment for Rs. 496/- through my HDFC bank credit card (mcheck payment) on 22.03.2012 (transaction no is 096516 as per bank record). But after paying the same after seven days they suddenly disconnected the connection without giving me any notice or information or phone call. I made a complaint in the customer care no. (complain no. C[protected]) but they never called me or solved my problem. Next month they again sent me a bill by adding Rs. 496/- which I have already paid and after seven days sent me a letter. With the reference of the letter I talked to Mr. Debakanta Nanda [protected] and told him the whole matter and he assured me that if I have paid the bill I don’t need to pay any more. But when I told him to send me a fresh bill which will show my payment he sent me a bill over mail with Rs. 1088/- outstanding.

I paid Rs. 600/- while I took the connection. And as internet connection in very much required for my work I took another connection by paying money again. On 7th June MTS sent me a notice through an advocate Sh. Chandrasekhar Sarkar which I received on 25th June. They just kept it in my letter box and not by post. It all seems to harass me deliberately. I

As I was forced to take another broadband connection for my use by paying money I wish to get Rs. 600/- back from M/s MTS SistemA Shyam Teleservices Ltd. and wish to STOP THEM TO HARASS ME.

MTS SUCKS!!! ..it seems if doomsday is not gonna come naturally they will bring it in other ways ..
I was also using MTS post paid data card no [protected], My Story starts from the sales man i told MTS sales man that i need high speed data card as i was already using reliance data card prior to MTS because of the speed issue i thought of changing it ..this guy named Sachin(i remember his name because of the cheapest thing he did) he came into my office, he assured me that i wont face any speed issues, 1.8 MBPS Anytime that was his solid promise although they provide 3.1Mbps god knows why d hell they are making these false promises .
Anyways as i was in my office already busy with work he asked for the payment of 2749 for 3 months advance rental inclusing VAT and service tax ..
i gave him 3000 Rs in total as did not have change money .he said will return the balance d very next day along with the payment receipt in my office ..The Next day never arrived for this guy.

ANY Ways, Luckily my Data card started working (i was presuming of fraudery because the sales man never returned with the receipt nor with the consolation call) now here comes the big problem " SPEED " my goodness i was feelin like cutting the sales man's Balls off. The speed was apalling, it was taking so much time to load google that eventually i used to forget tht which webpage i was trying to reach. it was crawling speed never loaded speedtest.net ..Anyways rung their cmr care for god sake their support were trying to resolve the problem over the phone by asking me to delete cookies, files, browsing histories, cache files, trying different explorer, restarting my laptop twice. nothing worked eventually the guy told me a person will visit me in 2 to 3 days, i said okay n thankyou for wasting my 1 hour over the phone .he mentioned a complaint no that i did not make a note of.

A technician came in after 5 days ..cheked my laptop doing all those things again cookies and , i held the guy and said listen u so called technician i am a mechanical engineer with sound knowledge about computers ..any of this is not gonna solve my problem .

he asked me to try a diff PC . i tried on a diff PC in my office but no Joy. even i mentioned the sales guy thing also and made a written complaint and handed over to him .he said both issues (speed & advance rental pending/receipt )will be sorted out soon .

hence forth i was waiting for the right speed some times it used to manage to give a speed of 234 kbps thats the maximum speed i have ever received with that dongal that too in night around 3 to 4 AM .
Time passed ..my frustration was getting bigger n behemoth .i started calling their MTS Office in Magarpatta, a lady very soft spoken used to promise to resolve my issues but no joy their also .

I called customer care again somewhere in near november 2011 the gentleman told me that their is ticket opened we cant log another complaint i said for how log do i need to wait for my issues to get resolved ..i spoke to d floor supervisor ..no help..i was feelin like i was paying for something which i am not getting practically from the past 45 days..i mean checking my email was also too painful, it was much easier to check on my phone although which i was doing for that time .
One day i again called the customer care, i told them my issue all over again, , and the guy again started with deleting cookies, , i literally shouted on him i used slang words i fought with supervisor with so many bad words were coming out (u can imagine my frustration )

then i was out of town for a almost a fort night in Himachal pradesh i was using the dongal their for my work, i was literally going down to a cyber cafe for the internet .i threw away that dongal some where in my bag .i returned to pune was thinking of changing my service provider as almost 3 months were elapsed but was nt getting time to find a decent provider, , Tata, Reliance, airtel, MTS now what XYZ internet services ?everybody are the chips of the same block .by that time i got a bill of 367 Rs as it was for couple of days with the adjustment billing cycle, i did not pay the bill for almost 15 to 20 days of the due date they disconnected my service.i went to MTS magarpatta office ..Met with a guy named Sarang .he said he was the manager i spilled everything in front of him he got my dongal checked right there in his office and it was woking fine in their goddamn building .

i paid d bill personally to Sarang
got the bill signed by him as well this time .

Now guess what ?the same dongal doesnt work at my place ..WTF.same crawling speed google chrome's loading circle going round and round and round .i was wordless literally, i was annihilated with my patience level .

I literally went outside and threw that dongal in the garbage box. the right place for The ""MTS a Step Ahead"" Mblaze what nonsense company

From that particular moment i have never used MTS though they have made my bill of 2758 rs now i dont know what kind of calculation they make and how many penalties they have added on .which comes in my letter box every fortnight .i am not gonna pay that stuff. which took my hell lot of time n never got resolved must be a Vampire service needed to resolve their issues .they keep messaging me on my cell phone for the bill ..and so on and so on

Today i was reading consumer complaints ..and the my innerspace blasted on this page.
There should be a governing body who take the advance strict steps for the complaints filed by the consumers like d 1 in United states ..

Please find below the summary of the complain

-June 2011- two hand sets ([protected] and [protected]) received by door to door sales man paid PDC and signed ECS

-July/August got a call to make payment without the bill-went to BTM layout koramangala, Bangalore and made payment.

-August/September Again the demand to make payment without the receipt of bill- demanded to take back the hand set which was also faulty.(meanwhile number disconnected-incoming/ outgoing)

-complained by mail and phone to take the handset back- kept receiving bills now for the instrument.

-December 3rd finally an executive came and collected both instruments but did not return the cheques (as requested to the call center executive previous day)

-Cheques not returned where as in the last week of December 2011 cheques dropped in bank and bounced. Complained again

-Received legal notice, replied back with facts.

-2 months back ECS cleared from my bank for 17, 000- complained again and demanded to return back my money, mean time receiving bills for handsets I don’t possess and already surrendered on 3rd Dec 2011

-Got an intimation for court summon for 17th August 2012

With a clear conscious, please explain to me, just because I have been constantly in touch with MTS and regularly complaining, do I really go through all this. I request you to look into this matter, return my money, advocate fee, an apology letter and withdraw the court summon, failing which I may have to take necessary actions from my end after consultation with my lawyer and go to the consumer court and sue the company for harassment.

THE sales man name is RAJ MALHOTRA a big laier who said that dont pay the bgill I am geting the bill off 730 HE gave me old dongle, wrong Commitment And also said that you will swicth your dongle in prepaid at any time. I'm also facing the same payment harassment from MTS. We should do something for them.
Fraudulent practices by MTS will only spoil the company's image and the advocate that you've appointed to send out legal notices to hapless customers demanding money is very fishy business.Instead claim what is rightful instead of resorting to unfair trade practices.
Worst connection totally fraud company MTS dongal taken and made complete payment MTS guys commited will give 5 GB with new connection but they denied . After making 10 complain on day basis no one is responding still only one thing they are saying now u need recharge again for connectivity . I not getting what actually is going on .
