[Resolved]  MTS India MBlaze — Calling and Charging Fraudulently

I took mts postpaid mblaze connection (mts no. [protected]) on 27th dec 2011. The offer was if I pay rs 900 for data card I will have free one month service. But they even sent a bill for 5 days used in dec. By the way I paid bill for january and when I saw february bill they gave twice amout bill. I told to change the bill but they didn't.
March the connection was worst and numerous complaint didn't give any relief. In the end in april they disconnected my connection due to non payment of bill. I have the proofs of the complaints and took the screen shot of their speed I got at home. I will attach those complaints if it is required.
Today (17th august 2012) after such long time I got a call from [protected] and [protected] (in name of advocate ankita verma) said to be from delhi court telling I have notice in my name. I didn't get any notice from them and they said I have to reach delhi tomorrow for damages for 35k. They said if I pay the bill of Rs 2846 they will withdraw the case.
The Rs 2846 was including Feb March and April bill. Whereas I didn't use my net for April. Accordingly they should be paid only Rs 864 (consider the above free one month offer and not counting the one month unused charges).
By the way I paid the money (transaction ID 68748256, HDFC netbanking) and now I want to complaint against them for this harassment charges. I know that the number is not from delhi court. Please help me find the solution soon.
I want to know even if notice didn't reach me how can they ask me to reach delhi by tomorrow. If it is not from any court I want to take a strict action againt them.
Please see it as urgent complain to solve it.

This is not only with mts guys ... Its happening with tata photon customers aswell ... Just reciever a call from person saying tht he's advocate ankita verma's assistant . And tht we are submitting a case againt you for non payment of bill . Which I have already paid and got the connection disconnected .. And asked me to resolve the case with the party .. I knew it from the starting .. Tht its not the advocate's call and its fake from the recovery agencies . I am really so pissed . I am going against them with the legal action . Coz these are just going ahead and harrassing people for no reasoon .. i
But we really need to do something so that others won't suffer...

If one company is bombed with this case then automatically other company will stop harassing people. Atleast for the others we should kick there butts so that they won't create more troubles.
Exactly we need to some thing ... I called them again and asked them to go ahead with there legal process I am going ahead and complaning about the same and mentioning your mobile no . ... And the guy called me actually was so freaky rude .. Tht i lost my cool too ...
I am going to write a strong mail to MTS director today. Lets see what is his reply.

Worst is even we are complaining in this forums and other online forum no one is helping us.

I think it is best to go in media like ndtv, toi and ibn, especially toi and give proofs and show in TV and newspapers for few days. Atleast others will know how these fraud company sucks our blood by giving fake promises.
Yesterday I mailed in the given email of the ChiefCSD of MTS. Today I got call and they are now refusing from promises of what they made. In December when I took data card the MTS person said if I pay for the data card I will get a month free internet browzing. Now they are telling the person gave wrong commitment.

I want all the people cheated by these MTS and other companies to unite and send a mail to these people and show our strength. I am trying my best to do what I can for u all too. But I can't go with out your support.

Please support me to fight these cheats.

I can't believe that this is a problem faced by everyone. Even I am from bangalore and I faced the same problem. MTS agent offered connection wherein I will get 1 month extra usage for free and hence I went ahead with connection and later on requested them to disconnect it due to its poor service quality.
They did not disconnect my connection and now billed 920 in excess for no reason. I received same call as mentioned above and I was forced to pay immediately. Please Help.

These shameless people have told that free usage thing is fake and the dealer made fake promises. They even closed my account telling i paid my bills and everything settled. Horrible people. I want each and everyone to paste these complaint links in FB twitter and where ever so other customers won't fall for these cheats...

Today same thing happened with me.I have got a call from number [protected] & said that he is calling from Delhi High Court & asked me to attend the court tomorrow because in my name case is raised.When I asked about case details that guy provide me one advocate number(Rakesh)-[protected] & asked to contact with him other wise they will process the case.

I called advocate number & he told that I have some non payament from MTS datacard connection & for that case is raised.

But I did not received any legal notice in my mail address also.

They are not disconnected my datacard connection after several request & sending bills every month.They are really harasiiing people.

If any one taken any action for this company please let me know.I am also willing to do same.

Hi guys I can see several complains and no solution - I am also facing the same issue and I am also living in Bangalore. Let's join together - Fix a day / time and meet online or offline, hire a common advocate representing all of our issues and let's fight this company!

My suggestion will be to first fix a day and time to have an online Skype meeting, I have created a Skype ID exclusively for this purpose - Skype: FightMTS

i am from ghaziabad. i am also facing same problem. they daily call me 4-5 times in a day to pay the bill. but i am not going to pay.whether they take legal action or what ever. i can also take a legal action m not afraid of these calls after reading above all comments.

MTS — company not giving interested against complaint file

i have complaint they just call have my problem solve and promise me that problem will be solve in 24 hrs but problem is not taken care last one week pass due to which im face huge loss all my project are pending
Hi, I took a MTS wifi connection and I was not satisfied with the device at all as It was warm very soon. I lodged a complaint and ask for disconnection, but they continously threat me from Delhi court, and harrased my family for not bill paid. As I paid with a negotiation after talking to one of their representative, but as they did not give any receipt for that part payment, At present I am condused and harrased.

guys i have face the same problem..they gave me a plan for 6 month and after that they charged more fron 5 month and said to me they wrongly tell me..now they are calling me to do the payment of 990...and come to my home..

I had almost a similar issue with MTS. I haven't used the data card for several months. I got a call from Anand Misra from bangalore (I live in Bangalore) and asked me to contact another guy (Ranveer) from Delhi. He has filed a case against me and I have to report at MTS office in Bangalore before 12pm (They called me at 11:15am). They even asked me if I know how to pay bill online. They also offered support on that!

My problem was, I bought MBlaze after confirming that it will work with Linux. But it was not compliant with Linux. I brought my laptop to their shop after many attemts done by myself. Their experts tried to install it (and I came to know that they knew nothing about it). they asked me to call cutomer support. I did so many times and they said they only support Windows. I never got an answer to my problem.

Later I contacted the retail shop who sold me the device and they said some technicians will come to my place and fix it. They offered this only when I refused to go to another retail shop a bit far from my place. But the technician never came. Not even a call from their support desk! Finally, after at least 10 calls, one customer support exec informed me that the device wont work on Linux!

Then I decided to stop using the device (I have used it on My Mac sometimes) and not paying the bill.

I first hit Airtel and they clearly told me that their device won't work on Linux. Nice guys they are! :) MTS sold me a device that wont work, telling me it willwork. They were cheating on me.

I would like to file a case againsst MTS for cheating customers and for fraudulent legal charges.

I am Noushad Sharafuddin...Today i got a call from a guy and said that there is a case going to be registered in my name.When i asked about it, he gave a phone number and asked me to call in that.When i called i got information that unless i pay the bill they will file a case against me.

Now coming into the matter.I took the Mts connection of which they promised a high speed 0f 3.1 .After taking i used it with a very low speed.After that i got zero network. I called the mts customer care a hundred times after which a technicain came and checked on the matter.He said that there is zero network in the area and boosters are needed to be fixed to get it right.It never happened.

After that i called the customer care again hundred times until i lost my patience.They said they would solve it immediately but it never happened.Finally after a month came the matter of bill.At that time MTS representatives were so eager to call me up and ask about bill payment.At that time i clearly mentioned that without properly using and without the issue being resolved i would never pay the bill and that i want immediate disconnection.

So now they are asking me to pay a bill of 2240 only for using mblaze hardly for 15 days..After that it never worked.I also faced the issue in bangalore locality.

I again called back today and spoke with the guy who called me at first (advocate ).I said about the issue and said that i am only willing to pay a months bill of 900 .He insisted me to pay 1000 .I think that this is some kind of fraudulent activity from mts side only.Never believe on their call and pay the bill immediately.This a trick from mts side, I am also ready to file a legal action .Without using the service nobody has to pay any bill.I dint use because there was zero network.Lets unite and shut mts.
I got a similar call from a Ranveer, Delhi High Court Advocate and he said that if I dont pay by next day I have to go to Delhi with a lawyer and Pay, I dint even get the connection properly for which they made a bill. Its all bogus and fraud calls. Please do not get scared, because, even if true court has to sent notice and there is a long process of such thing. MTS cannot pay a lawyer for 1000 or 1200 bucks and continue cases for 1 million people, otherwise they will loose more money than gaining. They just want to create a fear so that general people pay up money.

And No...You cannot be put to jail for not paying Rs.2000 bill. It has never happened ever in the history of Indian crimes. If you oblige on stamp paper to pay and dont pay, and ignore court command then worst to worst case scenario, police will come looking for you and handover one last warning paper, and get a document signed from you that you have received that document. But those cases never happen for anything less than Rs.20000.

MTS is very clever is such thing. They have outsourced this kind of work to external agencies, so if you call customer care, they dont have any option other than to reject this, so they will always disconnect. I can gaurantee you that MTS customer care can never approve of such a thing, coz if they do, then MTS become liable. Now if you backfire and drop another case on MTS, you can never find a connection between those numbers from where the calls came and MTS. Thus MTS will be secured. And they wont even reverse your payment.

So its useless to fight after you have paid. Dont pay and whenever they call, feel free to slang them in any language, and Enjoy...Chill...

You r right pradip.How they prove that you are not use mbleze only for free one month???If Bsnl the gov company cant do anything other than disconnection, then how a private fraud company do something other than begging or crying?No telecom company can do anything for non payment.HOW THEY PROVE THAT??? REMEMBER THIS IS INDIA.HERE KILLER CAN GET RELIF.
