[Resolved] MTS India MBlaze — Calling and Charging Fraudulently

I took mts postpaid mblaze connection (mts no. [protected]) on 27th dec 2011. The offer was if I pay rs 900 for data card I will have free one month service. But they even sent a bill for 5 days used in dec. By the way I paid bill for january and when I saw february bill they gave twice amout bill. I told to change the bill but they didn't.
March the connection was worst and numerous complaint didn't give any relief. In the end in april they disconnected my connection due to non payment of bill. I have the proofs of the complaints and took the screen shot of their speed I got at home. I will attach those complaints if it is required.
Today (17th august 2012) after such long time I got a call from [protected] and [protected] (in name of advocate ankita verma) said to be from delhi court telling I have notice in my name. I didn't get any notice from them and they said I have to reach delhi tomorrow for damages for 35k. They said if I pay the bill of Rs 2846 they will withdraw the case.
The Rs 2846 was including Feb March and April bill. Whereas I didn't use my net for April. Accordingly they should be paid only Rs 864 (consider the above free one month offer and not counting the one month unused charges).
By the way I paid the money (transaction ID 68748256, HDFC netbanking) and now I want to complaint against them for this harassment charges. I know that the number is not from delhi court. Please help me find the solution soon.
I want to know even if notice didn't reach me how can they ask me to reach delhi by tomorrow. If it is not from any court I want to take a strict action againt them.
Please see it as urgent complain to solve it.

am facing a lil different, asked MTS to disconnect my broadband connection due to slow speed, i used it for one month only & paid them one month advance as security at the time of installation, still they asked me too pay one month charges, i refused. the amount was around 1000rs which continuously increased by them & now after one year they are asking me to pay 3500Rs, i refused & recently i got a call from a Police station that i did a fraud & he gave me the number of advocate, i spoke & come to know it was of MTS, i still don't care. They are trying to intimidate me by threats.

Hi

I am facing issue with MTS data card, 2 days ago I received a legal notice from mts to pay the bill which I have not used.
Its like I had a MTS data card and which never worked good, I always have to submit complaints regarding that but they never resolve the issue.
I have launched so many complaints for the issue, still they were not ready to fix this, and after few months I stopped paying the bill by saying that I am not going to pay in this condition. they de-activated the data card after 4-5 days. but still they were sending the bills of 1150 INR every month on my mailbox, I haven't replied them and they keep on sending the bill every month, don't know for what.
I already have lost so much work because of the pathetic services provided by them, and now they want me to pay the bill for which I haven't used. Now they are asking me to pay 2000 RS.
They have used the section 403, 405, 406 and 420 in the notice they send me.
Please tell me what to do.

Hi, im sherwin from nagpur. I had an MTS postpaid connection last year. They said i have to pay 799/- for 5GB data. It was all lies and no truth during the time these MTS personnel came selling their product. Just after 8 days o[censored]sage i received a bill of 1300/- even though i had not used much of the data.. I did not pay and spoke to those people to cancel my connection. After reassuring me of their own mistake and telling me that they have disconnected my postpaid plan they gave me a prepaid dongle connection for 1200/-. And now im getting the same threatening call from a couple of guys to report to tees hazari court delhi for non payment of my postpaid. We should do something about this as it has really gone far with these kind of companies doing fraud openly.

Hi Guys,

Similar thing has happened to me. If you want a disconnection, just send their customer care a mail and use is as a proof. As far as the calls are concerned for people who are not using their connection any more, just ask them to go ahead with the legal process (Nothing happens really) and disconnect and if they still harass by calling, you can file a police complaint and then a harassment suit against them.

Today i recieved similar call at 2.30pm and i need to appear in court before 3pm in delhi. I am currently staying in bangalore, they demanded either to pay within 20mins or to come to delhi with lawyer in 30 mins. I haven't recieved any Legal notice or mail from them.

I haven't use this connection for 2 months and requested for deactivation too. But they never did and charged me 2500. I was panicked and payed the entire amount online. Even though we are educated we are unable to act sensibly during this threat calls. I have recorded all this calls and kept for evidence.

I am not sure how this site operates, is it just a dummy site or anyone has got their cases resolved.

Today I received same kind of fraudulent call from one mr.Tiwari ph: [protected] pretending to be from tees hajari court...same pattern discussed earlier. He asked me to call adv.Ranveer ph:[protected]. Im immidiately raising this matter with consumer court as I have absolutely no pending dues towards MTS . Rather I prepaid 1year subscription in advance to them and they actually got out of market in 9 months. So MTS has defaulted for 3 months!

I have purchased a MTS data card device with Rs.800 and i am facing a billing problem, billing was not made properly. I have not even used 2GB but bill have raised for 6GB, which is impossible my date card is terminated but the next month again bill was generated, I have phoned them again & again. i have told them for settlement but instead of solving the matter peacefully they are threatening me that they are going to file for criminal case against me in Delhi High Court which is not possible because such cases are directly not filed in High Court.

today on 16.12.2013 first call was from Mr. Rakesh no. [protected] he said that he is from Delhi Investigation cell & told me that Advocate Vikram Rana is going to file a Case against me and provided his cell no. [protected]. The said advocate told me that the amount of 1438/- has to be paid before 12 Noon other-wise he is going to file a Criminal Case with Damarage of Rs. 25000/ against me in Delhi High Court

Even i got a call on my cell number on July 2nd 2013 around 2.30 PM saying its from tis hazari court and case is being registered against me. He gave me one number which is don't remember and told me to call this number.
When i called this number he said have to pay the pending due amount or else they are going to file a case against me with damage of Rs 15000 in court.

I got a call today from a lady Nisha Agarwal ([protected]) claiming to be from a Verification Department of Delhi District Court. She just confirmed my name, number and address and said that Advocate Vikram Rana has filed a case against me in Delhi District Court and hence I need to go to Delhi for the case. She further confirmed that she does not have any details of the case and gave me the case file number and the contact number of advocate Vikram Rana([protected]) and asked me to contact him to get the case details and decide whether I want to settle the case or proceed with the case.

The next time she called, I threatened her not to call back or I shall raise complaint with the Police for harassing me, at which she started shouting not to threaten her.

Not sure, why these fools think they can make such a weak cowardly trap and get to extract money from the customers. It is because of the nature o[censored]s, Indians that we keep grudging but do nothing until we reach the worst point..

I want o file a complaint with the consumer forums so badly, but may be wont find enough time and energy to spend on these fakers.

I have a series of mail with the MTS corporate care where they have contradicted themselves directly in 2 back to back mail, and have sent me the usage details which include usage of few days of the previous month to match up the total usage sent in the bill.

So, I am not ready to pay them a single paisa until they actually file a case and win the case. I would rather fight the case and see the state of affairs in our Indian Judiciary System.

Hi every one,

MTS is making fool of every one and even though there is no due amount from the customer it is asking us to pay the bill that is over calculated and not actually due.So please file a complaint in the consumer forum if you get the calls like this.

just dont pay them a single penny, avoid the calls, let them come to court, it is they who will have to pay on their part of deficient services and all the harassment.
