[Resolved]  Naaptol — Selling of cheap and defective products

I bought the item titled, 'EPhone Ultra Slim Multimedia Mobile' priced at INR 4999.00 with INR 200.00 as shipping on October 10. I received the phone on October 15, but it was in a real horrible shape. To my surprise, it was a Chinese Mobile Phone not costing INR[protected] in the market as MRP, whereas they had mentioned the MRP to be INR 14995. I contacted them today on October 16, and they refused all they said.

The phone has a very poor battery life, of only 16 hours standby and 1 hours of talktime.

When I had spoken to an executive on the phone on no. [protected], they simply told me that they would get back with help from the Technical Support soon.

They have mentioned about Refunding the Product over here:

I asked them for refunding my money and now they are refusing to do so. I want to file a complaint against them. My contact no. is [protected].

Deals and You — Defective product and no resolution to complaint

I bought an Aakash Tablet worth 2990/- from http://www.dealsandyou.com on may 22, 2012 on advance payment basis. The product was sent through courier and instead of delivering it at home, was delivered to the society guard.

Following issues noted in the received product - ( received on 26th May)
1) Torn packaging of the product, not resembling exactly with the photo on website as the photo has been enhanced on website as compared to original product
2) As per instructions the product was to be charges for 4 hours - after 30 mins of charging it turned burning hot and had to be disconnected
3) On second instant of charging it turned on but was not responsive to the touch properly
4) Memory card keeps giving error message on the screen, slot loose probably.

Complaint was made on 28th may morning regarding the product on[protected], complaint id - 253201, response period - to contact by 29th Evening
Contacted D&Y again on 30th Morning - NO response received, waiting period of 48 hours advised
Contacted D&Y again on 2nd June Morning - The customer adviser said that - warranty given by vendor, please contact them as they cannot do anything.

My question is that is it not the retailers responsibility to get this corrected/replaced/ returned and pay the money back, as in this case they simply refuse to take the responsibility regarding the same.

iam b.laxmi, i saw in sakshi news paper advertisement about jewelry in October month in the paper advertisement the jewelry will be cost of 1999/- for 8 jewelry sets + 300 rupees are postal charges with that 3 malas and 2 bangles are free of cost and i gave order to naaptol, they allotted order no i.e 5242729, when that time they said the same articles(i.e which are shown in the paper advertisement articles) are sent to me if it was varied or are defected they will return back my money, today I received the courier on payment of 2300/- Rs from express courier, really i shocked about the articles they are varied with paper adv articles and they were very cheep & delicate articles i thought it was 50/- each or less and i received two malas only, so many times I make calls to naaptol, they can given ridicules & irresponsible answers and they refuse all promises before they said. i thought they are cheaters, it is fraud, I am very unsatisfied with jewelry.if you required i will send to you the paper advertisment copy and jewlary phots which was i received.
I am a student of 8th standard studying in Kerela Ihad ordered an aakash ubislate7 priced 2990rs
Iwas very excited about it and after some days I got it through blue dart but later only I understood that I was tricked in the box contents the contents listed were these
A portable aakash tablet
A charger
A users manual
A welcome card
A warranty card
A MICRO SD CARD OF 2GB
The product was not working properly from the first hour itself there was no sound and the tablet started getting stuck I only got the tablet, the charger and the users manual I was not given the rest
when I contacted them they denied that there was no SD card given with that and claimed that it was its internal memory

Naaptol — incomplete order

as per above subjected number i have ordered 5 designer sarees by the order no .id. 5145247, in this order 3 sarees missing i have complaint given & my complaint number is 3775184, but up to this date have not got remaining sarees , please sent parcel urgently. i have request you 6th time , i want immediately remaining sarees.i am very upset about your services.i am thinking about to give complaint to consumer forum, if you are not given remaining parcel in limited period.
Naaptol is a big cheater bloody harrased me since last 2 months and this is the one and only online shopping store which is a biggest fraud. I had ordered a product from Naaptol.com on 06 Feb 2013 and my order No. was 5931287 (Micromax mobile A30) and then it was shipped vide AWB no. [protected] through Bluedart Courier. I received the product by paying 3820/- Rs. Cash On Delivery on 12 feb 2013 and eagerly i opened the packet and started the mobile but i found there was a problem in the touch screen as the touch screen of left side of the mobile was not working properly hence I immediately contacted with customer care at [protected] and complaint about that when he given me an adress as "Khasra No.386, Gali No.2, A-Block, Mahipal pur Extension, New Delhi, 110037" and told me to Repack the product as it is and send at the said address for replacement. I did the same and sent the product at said address through Bluedart courier vide AWB No, -[protected] on the sade day i.e. 12 Feb 2012 which was delivered at your office on 16 Feb 2013. Again after waiting of 20 days, I received the product through Bluedart courier on 08 March 2013 vide AWB No. [protected] but instead of receiving a new replaced product, I got the same product with lot of scraches and was repaired. Tell me that if any person pay for a new product then why he shall accept the repaired and old defective product. Hence again I contacted with customer care executive namely Anita and complaint about this and requested for cancellation of order and refund/Money Back, who given me a complaint no. 4170679. I am feeling so harrased and want my money back but they are not responding to me.

It is therefore humbly prayed kindly take legal action against naaptol.com and arrange to return this defective and repaired product and refund/money back.
I advise and request to every body to not buy any product from these naaptol.com type cheaters otherwise you will face a lot of problems like me and also waste your money.
Sir I have complete documentary and email proof of above and i can submit before you at any time.

Naaptol — defect product , not refunding after rejection

I ordered VOX tab 1 ghz, through NAPPTOL.COM they sent dummy product which is switching on hardly after 10 mins, and swing off immediately after one minute. after two months they gave their warehouse address to return it. 40 days over no one is responding, they are not refunding the money, where can put a compliant.
