[Resolved]  Naaptol — Selling of cheap and defective products

I bought the item titled, 'EPhone Ultra Slim Multimedia Mobile' priced at INR 4999.00 with INR 200.00 as shipping on October 10. I received the phone on October 15, but it was in a real horrible shape. To my surprise, it was a Chinese Mobile Phone not costing INR[protected] in the market as MRP, whereas they had mentioned the MRP to be INR 14995. I contacted them today on October 16, and they refused all they said.

The phone has a very poor battery life, of only 16 hours standby and 1 hours of talktime.

When I had spoken to an executive on the phone on no. [protected], they simply told me that they would get back with help from the Technical Support soon.

They have mentioned about Refunding the Product over here:

Naaptol — Media joining hands with frauds to dupe public

We had ordered 1 kundan set, 7 stone set and 2 openable kadas with 5 chains seeing advertisment in mumbai mirror from naptol. However we were delivered not only less number of items but also wrong sets. We were not allowed to open the delivered packet until we made payment for same. On seeing the order when we refused to accept, we were denied cash refund. We tried reaching naptol end number of times but we were just pushed from one customer care number to other. All our effots to reach mumbai mirror and times of india were also invain.

I am disappointed to see the dirty media business. We are part of democratic country and media should be voice of people. What we have seen is vicious chain of cheats including every one from the advertiser to the advertisment company. Media should learn to be more responsible and morally and ethically committed to the people rather than joining hands with such frauds. I request the general public to kindly not succumb to such reader's offer or any other advertisment placed in mumbai mirror as there is no authenticity in them and they are just business to make common man obtuse.

Naaptol — SCREEN IS NOT FIXED MOVING UP & DOWN

ORDER NO. 3199350. JUST I OPEN THE BOX THE SCREEN OF BLACKBERRY STORM 9530 IS NOT FIXED IS MOVING UP AND DOWN AND I HAVE NOT ON THE PHONE ALSO.

ALSO I TOLD THEM I WANT TO RETURN MY PRODUCT AND GET A REFUND AND ALSO I HAVE SENT THE EMAIL NEXT DAY WHEN I RECEIVED THE PRODUCT THAT THE PRODUCT IS NOT ORIGINAL. Defective products

To my surprise, it was a Chinese Mobile Phone and the printed price on the box is 2999.00 only as MRP, whereas they had mentioned the MRP to be INR 8700 in the News paper 'The Hindu". I contacted them today on 19 Jan 12 and they have promised that a call will come from the vendor 'ALPHA RADIO HYDRABAD" and they will solve the problem.

The phone has a very poor battery life, of only 16 hours standby and 1 hours of talk time. The Earphone, FM and the Bluetooth device is not working

Naaptol — product failure

The problem is that the product is within 6 months warranty and it has stopped working as it restarts
again and again in between calls or normal phone functions. Iam really annoyed by the products supplied through naaptol due to their low
performance and unsatisfactory dealing with the customer.
i have emailed them many times but there is no response by naaptol.

NAAPTOL — DELIVERED CHEAP STUFF

The advertsiement was on Times Of India, Valentines Day offer, Lady Charm jewellery - which was very attractive, 8 sets, glod plated with free Pearl malas. When I received the courier, I was shocked to see some very cheap threads with pendants and earrings, which was not even quarter the price I paid. When I called the customer care, he asks me to send back the courier and he would send the original set. I kept the courier back, because I did not want to lose both money and order.

I have mailed them, there is no reply.

I am Maria, I had purchased BLACKBERRY 9000, Within few days it started giving problems. When I contacted Naaptol Manjeet Sharma, the CRM, he told to pack it in the original box and send it J S. Associates... at Mulund Mumbai by BLUE DART courier, which I did on Dec. 30, 2011. A few days later when I contacted to find about the status of the mobile phone, this same Manjeet Sharma told me that they have received the phone and it's gone to the company for repairs and will be getting back within 15 working days. I waited patiently, then again when I did not hear from them for quite some time. I contacted them on the complaints No.s which they have given in the Naaptol advertisement. To my horror sometimes the call center persons/ costumer care people say that they have not received the mobile only the accessories and at other times they say that it is gone for repairs in the 10-15 working days I will get back or I will get the refund money and asked for my bank details, which I have provided. They have also asked for the POD (Proof of deliver) from Blue Dart, which I have provided. However, so far nothing has happened. I have spend time and money calling them up over and over. Remember, I am fighting this case more against corruption, cheating and deceiving innocent people. I will continue fighting until I get justice.
Naaptol and TIME India sells products which is outdated that is bought second hand and repaired and then sold to innocent customers. The Black Berry phones which they advertise for big discounts is actually some outdated piece which does not work in India and they are locked with some passwords or code No., which when you go to a NetWork provider they are unable to unlock that means it is non functioning piece of crap. It is very wrong on the part of any company to sell such products. Strick action should be taken against the company who cheat and deceive people.

Today 06/04/2012 I contacted the Naaptol complaints again and could get the same reply but with a slight modification that the courier would collect the device back and after that they would try to send a new one after 48 working hours. During the telephone talk, they disconnected abruptly and. I feel cheated. Please help me to recover my loss.
