[Resolved]  Nokia N8 — Restart and hanging Problems Exist even after the update

I am from India . I got my Nokia N8 3days back. on the second day i really disappointed. I had faced a various problems in my handset(N8). The problems which i faced is "Restart and Hanging". So I went to Nokia care center and upgraded to a new version. On the same day itself I got the same problem along with a new problem. My phone got restarted several times. In one stage it died(Cannot able to start it). So again i went to the care center again the process repeated . Again i came up with a new problem My display keys did not work at all and phone got totally hanged up. Even i cant able to restart it. So, I am really disappointed with this handset. I believe Nokia is seeing this and soon provide a good solution for the problem. I think there is a Bug with Symbian ^3 Os.

Nokia — slow running and restarting problem

some times my nokia 5610d-1 gets restarted on its own and also sometimes works very slow, sometimes i can not run a video properly nor can take a photo or video, it gets restarted when i take a video recording or start a video, sometimes it acts like 1 megapixel camera phone and is unable to take a photo

Nokia — Issues with Nokia handset repair

I gave my mobile for repair at Nokia Care center at the following address on 05/07/08:

I am owning a Nokia N73 ME (Serial : [protected]) and was dead probably due to moisture in it. After receiving the delivery I found that my 2GB memory card was not there. The memory card was taken while I gave it for repair as it was not coming out of the slot.
The customer care executive told me that we had to break the memory card and take it out of the slot while repairing. I really don't understand how can Nokia person break the memory card to take it out. And after everything it was not mentioned on the Bill receipt that I received about the memory card breakage.

I am writing this mail to let Nokia know that they are a well established and trusted company in the area on mobile phones and they must give a clear picture to the customer (in written) on what has been done to the set in the repair procedure. I don't know whether I will be surprised to see no camera in my set next time it comes back from the repair.

I wd like to bring your kind attention That I bought this set in may'08 and I have used this set for a month only and Iam facing Problems from Month of june to till date.I reported to Nokia care (Sheetla communication)-Super Mart 1st, gurgaon and they concluded with a liquid problem and It got ok but it worked for 4 days! I again Reported at Nokia care they again concluded it to a Liquid problem and asked to either repair the connector or replace it, I Gave them rs. 250 and got it repaired but again it worked for 1 day. Mobile got switched off...! I again reported to Nokia Care, and Then they sent it to Main Nokia service centre on 10th july'08 And It came after 1 month 10 Aug'08 but It didnt work next day they sent it again On 12th Aug'08 SECOND TIME REPEAT CASE, (Infact it was fifth time)and Iam still waiting for that to come, its 2 weeks now...!
So You Can very well count from the date i purchased my phone in may'08 how many days i have kept it with me and how much i have used...Its so pothetic about nokia care and handset also i have never faced such problem ever in my lifetime regarding handsets...! How can it be a Liquid Problem everytime, do I Put Liquid there ? I have used earlier many nokia sets they got drown in water completely still they worked and When it was not into any moisture how can there be a liquid problem ?
Is this the way to earn extra Money from Customers, ITs very far from my home...its very difficult to rush up at nika care just to ask whether my cell got repaired or not as when we call they dont pick our phones...? If Nokia is not able to run such care centres, how do they give permission or frenchise to to run nokia care ? I HAVE SPENT MUCH MORE THAN THE COST OF THE MOBILE !AND Iam totally dissatisfied with NOKIA CARE wd not even give a single point out of ten if asked...Just coz of the problems i have faced for my mobile. I dont know whether their would come any fruitful result to my complain or not but still registering with that.

Nokia — Restart and hang most often

I am Raj from Kalyan, India had purchased a Nokia 5610 Xpressmusic phone on 26th Jan 2008 from Mobile T store (Dombivili East), which started giving issues like used to restart and hang most often, etc. in not more than 2 months from the date of purchase.

I had been complaining in the local Nokia care centre (Dombivili East) about the issues of the phone all the time. The care centre advisors only take the phone and keep it for 6 to 7 days and give it the way it is. It is more than 2 to 3 times they have taken away my phone to replace and return the same phone stating the issues have been resolved by doing software up gradation.

I am totally upset by the way Nokia is caring for their customer. I have advised the people about replacement of my phone or they should take it away, where I would be more than happy to take this complaint to public by source of media and police.

Nokia — Call Disconnecting after making or recieving the call

I am Satish, My mobile number is [protected], When i am trying to make a call to any other mobile or landline in between the call is getting disconnected. I am really very much fed up with this network. kindly resolve this problem for me, other wise i will go for other network.
today 16th fab i went to nokia care centre at niit faridabad (simor solution ) i am said to customer care executive my phone is hang he said ur keypaid is damage from liquid BUT there is no liquid in my phone
they making us fool he said u have been charged aprox 1000 rs, i said my phone is in gaurenty period nad my phone key paid is working good then why should u changing my phone keypaid there problem in other place, he said

My name is Gopal. i bought Nokia3110C from Univercell on 9/10/2008. But within tendays my mobile got hand suddenly. so i gave my mobile to NokiaCareCenter and got my mobile. Then Later once i used Bluetooth my MP3 did not open since then i have formatted cell for 3 times and 5 times give repair in NokiaCareCenter. now also my mobile is given for service.so please me a solution. what should i do nw?

hello, nokia service centre.

Recently, I hav e-mailed regarding my nokia n70 functionality problem (i.e, working slow or getting hang while opening the files) there, I forgot to mention one thing.That is, at a time of purchased my nokia n70-1, I got 256mb MMC card but now I purchased 1GB of MMC card(brand is kingston) and I'm using it.Is because of this my phone is working slow or hang? I would like to know your answer regarding this.

samsung & nokia — Problem to choose.....

Sir I am a student now.Want to buy a multimedia phone(within next 3-4 months) within Rs.5500,which will have lots of fecilities,and performence must be very good,it's camera qualiy,screen resolution,music sound and battery back up must be satisfactory.I know my budget is very low.But I have chosen FOUR models, Nokia 2700 classic,Nokia 2730 classic,Samsung Metro S3310 and Samsung Metro S3500.But I am totally confused that among these four mobiles which will serve all my needs very efficiently,which will be the best choice.
Considering all my needs,please suggest me which one is best option.

Nokia — SET KEEPS HANGING

I purchased NOKIA E 63 handset during September 2009. I noticed that the handset keeps hanging particularly when a call is being received. The frequency of hanging have of late been increased.

Being a die-hard fan of nokia handsets, it is thoroughly disappointing and shall be glad if the company can replace the handset...

Future Nokia buyers are advised to be wary of this problem, before making a decision of this particular model....

Since i purchased this handset it has worked fine untill recently when i have tryed to play one of my videos or play music in my music player it says 'operation failed' please help.

Nokia — hanging problem

after few months my cell started giving hanging problem
i took my cell to nokia care centre
the phone was in guarantee period.they updated my phone software.the hanging problem was vanished.
after some days it again started giving hanging problem
again i took it to nokia care centre.they again updated my phone but after some days it again started giving problem
now my guarantee period is ended so i cant update my phone again & again
so now i have decided that if the company will not solve my problem than i will case for it

Nokia — Nokia mobile screen issue in 2 months after purchase

I purchased Nokia 6303i classic mobile in Apr, 2010 and within two month problem started with Mobile screen. I was able to observe dead spot on mobile screen which are increasing day by day. Gradually deadspot become big. I contacted nokia care and they said that this is physical damage to screen and it doesn't come under warranty. By nokia care representative it was clear indication that they wanted to make money out of screen change. I would be little ok if mobile is more than 1 year old but since problem started on new handset i was bit upset since i was feeling like i was given low quality mobile.

I fought a lot but then i did not find any solution to get my mobile repaired. Nokia care says we will replace with new screen but then you have to pay change of 1600/- and warranty for that new screen would be 60 days which is not sufficient.

since i was not able to see anything on few area of my screen, i changed screen on 1st sep, 2010. When i asked my original screen back first they were hesitate to give and when they gave me back they tear flexi cable on screen so that i could not do anything by saying it's company policy. Since item was solely mine how come a company policy come into picture to damage my original screen. I was completely not happy with mobile and customer care behavior. I feel like being cheated and no value of money spent by me.

Nokia — Set getting hang from 2nd day onwards

I have purchased on Nokia 2690 set on 31 dec 2008 from the 2nd day of purchase itself set getting hanged. so I went shop(VIVEKS RETAILS) replace new by having bill. But no response at shop too, ten finally I went to (Anna Nagar)Nokia care, but they were saying that the network only is the problem. I tried the sim the other set its works. then they did something on the set an gave off without any response to the consumer, again after two days the same problem started the set. Again went to Nokia care they didnt response. Still now the problem exists with set. when its hangs i used to remove the battery and again inserts it. then its works. So dont ever go for Nokia mobiles even they give for Rs. 100.

Nokia N8 — No delivery after advance booking and advance

I booked an N8 on 20/10/2010 with Rajdhani Communication at Raipur vide R. No. 7592 and paid Rs. 2000/- as an advance . The priority owner confirmed me to deliver the set on 22/10/2010 @ 23800/- but today he is saying that he will confirm tomorrow when he can deliver the set. Actually today is my daughter’s big day as she is studying in BITS – PILANI and she got some remarkable achievement there which is being rewarded at OASIS a great celebration of BITS. So we also sending N8 to her, but our promise ruined due to breach of contract by a dealer of your esteemed institution .
It is shameful and disgusting for a renowned company to make false commitment and caused sorrow of little hearts .

Same problem with my n8. It seems nokia launched this phone without testing. I am so damn disappointed. Just wasted 24k bucks. Now they say they will repair it & give it back. But why should i use a repaired handset. When i have paid the full value for the handset. Please help us get out of this mess. V need handset replacements from nokia.
