I went to Pimri Chinchwad, Pune RTO today along with one of my relative to get learning license for driving 2 wheeler. When i gave all my documents to officer for verification, to get a signed copy to go to next level, he started asking some irrelevant questions to me like explain what is Rule no. 122. As i was unable to answer, he wrote on my application that you don't know rules & regulations, come again next week. I was the first person, to whom he asked any question and rejected my application straight away. After me, my relative go ahead and submit documents, and same officer signed & verified his documents with in seconds without asking any single question.

I didn't understand any reason for his behavior. And all persons standing near to me, who saw that happening, were equally shocked. One reason could be difference of my permanent address (Delhi) and present address (Pune), which led him to go for this biased behavior.

Another reason may be, as my relative was going through an agent (broker) and i was going directly, it makes that officer angry that they are unable to get any commission from my pocket and that's why he started asking non-sense questions. Also i am 100% sure that these questions are asked at time of driving test while issuing permanent license.
After this, when i go and meet RTO head officer and explain him everything, he said you shouldn't say anything like this. He is a senior officer and you should know all rules. At last, when i keep him asking, he shouted and asked me to go out of his cabin. I came again and asked him to give me a reason in written that you have rejected my application for so & so reason. He became furious and started shouting unnecessarily. I came out after sometime, but wanted to teach them a lesson, which they wont forget ever.

Could you please tell me what should i do? I want to teach all of those corrupt & useless minds a lesson.

I have recently moved to PUNE from chennai due to official reasons and simultaneously moved my CAR via packers and movers. I have started using my CAR (it is bearing TN registration number) in Pune and on 17/12/08 i was stopped by RTO officials stating that i have to pay Registration fee for the car again in Maharstra and simultaneously impounded my original Driving Licence, Insurance card, and RC and given me a challan stating that i have to visit RTO office where in they will estimate the ammount which i have to pay then only i will be getting my original documents. I just cant understand that how many times i will be paying the Tax for one CAR, and more over Maharastra is in INDIA and i am using the CAR for private use and not for any commercial purpose. This is something ridiculous and they are making common public to undergo severe AGONY, this particular incidence has really given me lot of pain. Added to this when i have visited the RTO there i was unable to locate the window (no propoer sign boards are in place nor no personnel available to guide) where i will be getting the information regarding my documents. Ultimatley i have to take the help of a agent (who are doing rampant business within the premises of RTO) who quoted me Rs.500 for the service, and i was shocked to know that i got to pay 21, 000 again as Tax (i have payed 26, 000 TAX while i have purchased the vehicle in 2005). Can i understand from any source that why we should pay TAX these many times for the same vehicle, and is there any way out and what is the correct LAW.

I have sent an urgent parcel through Speed Post from Bangalore to Hyderabad on Dec 13th 11 am. The parcel hasnt been delivered yet and are unable to view the status of the package.
Please let me know the delivery status and details of the same.

Speed post with reference no. EY[protected]IN, was send back to CHAKALA MIDC. (got this details from speed post tracking).

How can get this speed post ? Is it possible to send that again to different address?

I DO NOT HAVE THE CONSIGNMENT NUMBER.
I NEED TO CHECK THE STATUS.

i HAD PAID 320 RS FOR THE SAME.

Need not to say much about the Pune RTO & the bugging Traffic Polices, for which atleast 1000 people min suffer a lot & the most horrifying things is that who came to pune first time & dont know these ghosts.Let me Start point wise:-

1>Pune RTO office:-

If you anter the RTO office, which is near pune rail station;From the gate itself, a good no of touts & hawkers are there to welcome u cordially inside the premises, by saying that we ll do everything for you.My first question is that..are they paid by Pune Municipal & if not, then why they are allowed inside, to make such vandalisms.Guards are there, only to stand besides them.

OK, then if by escaping from them, u r entering into the office..then u find a blank big hall over there, where everything written in Local Languages, including Staffs working Time periods.As i m very unfortunate, that i came from outside MH, so could nt able to locate the exact window, where i should go for my NOC & Paying Road Tax.After a long period, by asking here & there, when i approach the authority, he directly told me..u self cant be able to do this, u have to go through these touts.This is the only way over here.Then after a long argument of 30 mins, i lost my patience & catch one of the touts, who will charge me Rs1500 for paying road tax.

I am asking one Question to Pune Commisioner, that is this the way, you welcome ur guests!!!

cant any person pay the Road Tax online(Boss we r in the 2nd IT city of india)!!!
Cant the Authority make their own department a suitable work place & a well managed & systematic, by throwing out these TOUTS.

cant the Authority, make the RTO services online for the document processing works!!!

If you r going through teh PUNE RTO website, no information is there, that if you have a vehicle from out side the state, then what should be the procedure to get all papers workd done from authority..Means it simply shows that, authority want bribes from the Touts, which we give to the touts for getting work done...So Bu''..itttt culture...& so frustrating...

2ND THING

2>PUNE TRAFFIC POLICE:-Pune Traffic police launches a so called formality to stay pune Green, that the PUC Card for Vehicles.
One simple Question to Pune Bus Authority..r u checking your buses & holding the PUC Cards.I am sure..u r not, as the Black Fume, they exhale, its simply imbearable.Also the FORCE MOTORS 6 SITTER all over the city, r they really passed PUC Checks..Mr Authority..plz put your head, Nose(To smell), Face(To feel the the conc of CO2 & CO)into right things & catch the right culprit, who is really polluting our Pune City, not the Bikes & Cars.

I dont know, whether my word is going to enter the Authority's earhole or not & whether the subsequent action will be taken by the right authority..or not!!!

I send speed post on 24/10/2008 to Ramnagar, Nanital Dist. But the document is not delivered till today ( 29/10/2005) where post offical people told me they will delivered it with in 72 hours.

With reference to my passport File No. F012464, this is to inform you that today I have received my passport No. G8817720 through Speed Post. But it is to my great surprise that on the envelope containg the passport my correct resendial address "151, Nirman Apartments, Mayur Vihar, Phase-1 Extension, Delhi-110091" is written. while inside the passport address is 301, Numan Apartments which is wrong.
Kindly let me know at the earliest possible how to get it rectified.

we had car and sold it in Oct 2004, last evening we got a letter that traffic violation and have to pay Rs50.00.

The car was under my wife name and letter is addressed on my wife name.

Now came to know and understand that transfer of name is not done and for past 4 years for the car we sold and still running under my wife name still

We searched for the 'TO' and any documents of the sale, not able to find any and we also changed the place.

so now I do not any letter on the sales part and also forgot the name or whom we sold, it was 4 years back.

we are in Chennai . please help me what shall I do now or where to complaint on this.

I have booked an article through speed post at Chandigarh GPO branch on September 4, 2008 for Canada which was addressed to Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada, 717 Church Street, Toronto, ON, Canada, M4W 2M4. My speed post number was EE[protected]IN.On tracking through net at Canadapost.ca, it is showing the same status "article is enroute to Canada" since date 05.09.2008 and no further information is available on the respective site. I have sent message to the Chandigarh and Delhi offices through e-mail and also on phone but with no response from the concerned authourities till now.The delay in delivery of my item may loss my one valuable year as I have sent the Exam forms with fee draft through this envelop.

I have sent the speed post by 21st August 2008.

I want the delivery confirmation immediately.

Dear Sir,

I was Retired from Indian Army from Jabalpur on 01 May 2007 i bring my own Bike to Kanchipuram. I submitted all requird document to Kanchipuram on 29 Jun 2007 vide Challan No 7579978 dt 29 Jun 2007 but still i could not get Tamil Nadu Registration No because of backhander.

Think If one of Ex Indian Soldier face this much of problem the cncerning pepole are not born from indian father and mother.
