[Resolved]  Reliance General Insurance — non receipt of policy documents, payment taken in advance

Hi,
I have purchased a reliance healthwise policy with the policy no[protected] on 23rd feb 2009 through a telephonic call from mumbai. They have charged the annual fee from my credit card & said that i would receive the policy document & the health kit within 7-10 working days, but today being 23rd of march i have not received my policy papers yet. I have written a complaint to their customer service e mail id but i did not get any reply. I have also called the customer service dept & lodged a complaint with the complaint no 230616, i have called them atleast 5 times & every time they assured me that i will get the hard copy through courier within 7 days & a soft copy on my email within 24 hrs but i never got that. Today finally when i asked them to let me speak to the head /manager customer service, the lady named nivedita gave me an excuse that we do not have senior professional or manager available at our office. I finally gave up & decided to cancel my policy. I would request you to kindly take an appropriate action against them & make everyone in this world aware of their services.

Reliance General Insurance — Non receipt of the policy documents

I have taken mediclaim policy for my father and mother on 2-May-2008, and made the payment through my SBI credit card, The SBI credit card statement is also showing that the money is deposited in the Reliance general insurance, mumbai's account. After waiting for more than one and half month for policy document, I have filled complaint to reliance call centre with complaint no. 475063 on 23-Jun-2008, But till date they have not given single call response to me and they are not ready to tell any thing on it after taking follow up for number of times, I have also send the emails to there care.[protected]@relianceadg.com address number of times but they have not responsed to me. I am really helpless now please suggest me the solution

Even I have purchased a Hyndai Santro in Feb, 08 and I did receive the cover note, but as of 25, July, 08. After so many reminders to the issuer, I have not received the policy. Its pathetic.

Reliance General Insurance - Health Insurance Policy — not received health card even after several reminders

I got my parent (Sh. Mangat Rai Mittal & Smt. Bimla Devi) insured from Reliance General Insurance (under Reliance Healthy Family Insurance Policy - PNB Arogya Shree) in August, 07 and I got it renewed in this year also in August, 08. Master Policy No - [protected] and Certificate No is - [protected]. Though I this policy was renewed in August, 08, yet I have not received any HEALTH CARD from the concerned company. I have sent them so many e mails & registered my complaint on customer care centre to send me cards, but nothing has been done.
Recently my mother Smt. Bmla Devi suffered from Cataract problem in her eyes. The concerned TPA "Medi Assist India Pvt. Ltd told me that they don;t have any record of this policy ( they noted the required informations from me as pre intimation of getting my mother operated) But till date I have not received any response from Reliance even after so many reminder. Please ...do needful

I have taken REliance HEalth Care Insurance Policy No.[protected] on 26.11.2008 for Myself, Spouse & one child and made the payment through my ABN Amro credit card, The ABn Amro credit card statement is also showing that the money is deposited in the Reliance general insurance, After calling many times at[protected] still not received my Policy Docvuments & Policy Kit and awaiting for more than 2 and half month for policy document, I have filled complaint to reliance call centre with complaint no. 81787, But till date they have not given single call response to me and they are not ready to tell any thing on it after taking follow up for number of times, I have also send the emails to there care.[protected]@relianceadg.com address number of times but they have not responsed to me. I Abhimanyu Sharma H.No 8 Sector 1 Laxmi Nagar Muthi Akhnoor Road Jammu J&K apllied for a Reliance Healthwise family floater Policy on 25/02/2009 in Jammu but till today on 27/03/2009 I have never got the health kit. I aproach many time to the Reliance office Jammu but they only replied we don't have the kits.
I have received the card well in time and even my claim of hospitalization settled within reasonable time.

I have taken a mediclaim insurance policy no.[protected] in Feb. 2008 which is valid till Feb. 2010. Unfortunately I have not received the policy paper till date. I lodged this complaint many times, still the policy paper are awaited. Even after many assurances from your office I have not received either soft copy or hard copy. The above policy is taken on 4th Jan 2009 and the payment of premium is paid as on that date. But the policy period specified in the policy schedule is 30.01.09 to 29.01.10.

The period from 4th Jan 2009 to 30th Jan 2009 has not been taken into consideration.

If anything had been happened to the vehicle then who will be held responsible for the damage. The policy is taken and the payment made on 4th Jan 2009, then why the policy starting date is 30 th Jan 2009.

The complaint for the above was made to Mr. Swami but no appropriate reply was given.

Secondly, the receipt for the payment of money is never given by you. What is the reason for that...?

I have taken a Reliance Health Wise Policy throught phone on behalf of Abn Amro Titanium One Credit Card. My Ploicy Referance No. is R 33658. It is informed to me that the policy is given only ABN AMRO TITANIUM ONE CREDIT CARD HOLDERS and the call is made on behalf of ABN AMRO Bank. I have taken the policy on 18th December 2008 and made the payment as per the statment received from the bank well in time. However more than four months have been passed, but I am neither reveived and Policy Documents nor any other information from the Bank & the Insurance company.
