I purchased a samsung mobile model No. SCH-S229 C. NO. 18D6FFFE on 16.06.2007 from New Delhi on a genuine bill 10 months back and the phone is still under warranty. Now it is dead automatically, when i went to the 513, FIE Patparganj Indl. Area, Ground Floor, New Delhi - 110 092 service centre New Delhi to get it repaired, they refused it saying that one of its internal (ICs) part have been damaged and you have to make the payment of Rs. 1600/- . I asked them that I have purchased this mobile at the cost of Rs. 1000/- only and if it is in warranty period then why I have to make the payment but the people there at the service centre didn't behave properly with me. This is really disgusting looking at the image of the company like Samsung.

    I have bought a Samsung Air Conditioner from Gaurav Distributors, 5-A, Taj Road, Sadar Bazar, Agra (Authorised Samsung Dealer), on 25/04/08, & they committed to provide free installation of it in my office (Sharda Enterprises, UG-1 & 2, 1st Floor, Merchant Chamber, Sadar Bazar, Agra-282001), but till now no one has came from the Company to install my A.C. I had also complained thrice on support.[protected]@samsung.com. My first complaint was on 27/04/08, Second was on 28/04/08 & third was on 02/05/08. But they didn't took any strict action against this. So, you are requested to take some Legal Action against them.

    I lodged a complaint yesterday afternoon regarding non-cooling effect of our Split A.C. but your representative has not rechaed so far. I tried his number 8/10 times and even i spoke to your franchisee at Alwar(Mr. Pathik) regarding this but no action seems to have been taken so far, the same thing, he will reach within 15 minutes.

    Although, i had lodged the complaint on 19th April, 2008 regarding the same problem but that time, your representative came and repaired it but within 10 days time, the same has occurred again and i directly contacted your representative (Mr. Subhash Saini) to get it repaired on 30th April, 2008. From 30th April to 6th May, i don't think samsung has got that much of work pressure that he could not attend a call in 6 days time.

    I had bought samsung AC. was working well for one year. Then there was a free service camp and we thought its good to opt for that. The service provider from Gurgaon had send one supposed to be engineer (Mr. Sunil)who deliberately did some thing to our fan and sound started coming after the free servicing. When we contacted him he came and told that the fan needs to be replaced and he would do it un-officially at lower price. Such fools are screwing the company's image and should be bought to book. The company to is sleeping and the call center idots are sending the same mR. SUNIL WHO IS A CROOK.
    God help this company and my suggestion is pl. do not go for such free servicings this is my third experience.
    Microwave oven, washing machine same experience.

    Samsung Air Conditioners — Job unattended

    I had purchased samsung a/c in September 2007. Last month they had come for the routine service which was half done. The top cover was not fixed properly and air was leaking from that end. I immediately called up Viveks Service Centre in Chennai, Tamil Nadu from whom I purchased the a/c. They said they are sending their person but till now nobody was bothered to look at the complaint. They had given me a new job number, 133494, for routine service 2 weeks back but again nobody had turned up. So are these people good in only giving job numbers and do they know how to work? I don't understand why a prestigious organisation like Samsung are blind towards such service providers in the country. Are they interested in only selling their product promising services by mouth and never look into it in future?

    I have bought Samsung Biofresh 1 ton Aircontioner and installed on 05th April 08. Airconditioner worked fine for 15 days and cooling effect came down drastically. I have lodged a complaint with Service Center and I came to know that Gas leakage as per the Service Engineer. Service personnel told that the A/c to be taken to Service Center and they took 4 days to take the A/c from my residence ie on May 19th 08. Since then there is no response from the Service Center till date. As such, if i call the toll free number they use to say that Service Engineer will call you within 2 hours. This was happening for the past 10 days. I have never expected this kind of response from Samsung. Better stop selling Airconditioners if Samsung is not capable of giving at least better service.     I could see the same type of complaint which I am facing but yet to know whether this forum is effective enough to take action against the company or service provider.

    The response which I got from samsung call centre and the service engineer is the worst I have ever seen. I understand Samsung is least worried about after sales service of their product. I lodged a complaint on 7th Mar 09 and today is 4 Apr 09 which is almost a month but still suffering with the same problem.
    As a user, we can spread the word that samsung is busy in advertising and sponsoring cricket matches.. it better to buy some other company products who is good at productiin and service rather than these big companies who are least bothered for this kind of complaints.

    I had purchased a Samsung AC from Sun Electronix on the 22nd and was promised installation the next day. Have called up and followed up 10 times with the dealer but am yet to receive a single call back.

    I guess after receiving the money neither the company nor the dealer is interested in the customer. I dont want the bloody a/c, only want my money back. I would like to purchase some other brand. How do i get my money back.

    It is to inform that I Vasikarla Sreekanth, Branch Head of STORM Consultancy, situated at Mayuri Complex, Beside Andhra Bank, Nakkalgutta, Hanamkonda, Warangal Dt., gave a call to your Technical Executive Mr.Venkat (Mob No.[protected]) regarding my Spilt 1.5 Tonne A.C. repair, he came along with his assistant Mr.Raju and told to me that there is problem in capacitor and asked Rs.1000/- for that I gave. I happened near about 15 days back, after 15 days back he came with one Capacitor and then he told that there is a problem in Compressor, actually he doesn’t know the exact problem and he is simply playing with me. From that day neither he is answering my phone calls nor rectifying the problem of my A.C.

    I request you to treat this as my personnel complaint against your Samsung Service Centre, Hanamkonda and the Technical Executive Mr.Venkat. If my A.C. is not going to rectified within 7 days (i.e., on 4th of May, 2009) from the lodge of this complaint, I am going to give a petition in the nearby Police Station on 420 case, cheating me by taking money without any receipt.

    I m agree with u regarding poor service quality of Samsung Team & product... Only 2 weeks back i purchased an AC and one Refrigerator from one the dealer in Delhi. When it reached home i saw dent in the upper door of the refrigerator. same day two guys came for installing the AC, but installed without any support of wooden beads or like that... when turned on the AC it was not working... they told AC is faulty and to be replaced. After lodging the complaint one service engineer came after 3 days and told AC is ok, but have problem with installation. He didnt give any report for that... Again i contacted the dealer to rectify the installation. he came after few more days .. finally he said installation is ok, problem is with AC and should be replaced. When i contacted the dealer for that he gave the contact number of area service incharge ... when i spoke to him he said they can only repair the AC in their service centre... when i objected saying it is brand new AC and went to the dealer again and again for few days, and used tough words, he sent only the inner unit of AC only, without any packing or like that and took back the earlier unit with them... though that unit started working i dont even know whether it was a brad new AC or a new one... dont know who ll give that certificate, to whom to contact... SAMSUNG website dont even reflect the address of service centres.. dont reflect any email id of senior management to address these type of issues... I feel they dont bother even 1 % of the customer satisfaction... they dont know where they r, and where they r going... whoever suffered these type of problems, nobody knows where and whom to complain ...Samsung dont deserve to be a international brand... local brands r better than Samsung, bcoz before purchasing u might think u might get cheated... SAMSUNG is cheating every consumer...everyday... whoever is planning to purchase SAMSUNG product, BEWARE !!!

    Samsung split AC is a product nobody should purchase. It stops cooling when temp crosses 42 degrees? It is meant only for hill stations and not for places like Delhi. I am repenting and cursing myself after purchasing this.

    I bought SAMSUNG air con sometime January this year in Samsung outlet at City Centre. The after sales service sucks. Have been having problems with it ever since the day of installation. Samsung in India is just not trustworthy.
    When will Samsung India ever improve? With reference to my earlier feedback, I bought the Samsung AC model AS10FCAN from a Samsung outlet at City Centre, Salt Lake in Kolkata.

    It was all wrong right from day one. As usual empty promises made during the promotions and sales.

    I made a complaint today coz my AC just wouldn't turn on. Not being an engineer or a technician for such appliances (of course a profession of better remuneration), I fell back on thre service centre (good ole[protected] had to affix 033 coz i'm in the worst metro city of India - the city of 'joy', so they say, KOLKATA!!!) But whats new, they promised to turn up today before 8 pm - compliant made in the afternoon. Cancelled all my plans and stayed home. Made a second call at 6 and reminded them. The Samsung operator told me to be patient and they will come before 8. Made a third call at 7.35 pm and wanted to speak to the manager and guess what they said, he will call me just before 8 pm. What a load of crap!! The manager did not call, the technician did not turn up,

    What can I say? They are living up to the natural standards of the development of India. If India is still at this stage (third world country), so should all other subsidiaries!!!

    Jaage Raho (from Tata Tea), Chalte Raho (from Green Plywood), all perfect commercials for this country! And to the slums of India, just sing 'Jai Ho'!!!

    Never ever ever in your right frame of mind, purchase any Samsung product if you're in Kolkata. On second thoughts, after reading all comments from other purchasers from all over India, dont buy Samsung at all if you're living in India.
    Its the second day now and still no sight of the repairman. A technician named Gautam spoke to me at 10 am and told me that my problem will be solved by 12 pm. 12 came, no Gautam, 1pm, no Gautam, 2 pm, I called the service centre yet again (8 times now - [protected]) and they told me that a manager will call me (the same old classic line) but he didnt. About 10 minutes later, our Gautam calls back and tells me that he is held up and will come only by 5 pm. I lost my cool and yelled at him . He then told me that he was in Sector 5, Salt Lake and that he will come in about half an hour. Lets see if he really does.

    And still, during this whole ordeal, no manager has spoken to me besides their senior supervisor by the name of Jyoti Chopra who could do very little but remind the service technician to come by my place.

    She was the only practical one who ran a mile extra by calling the service technician, Gautam.
    I have bought one Samsung Split A/C 1.5 ton model:AS-18UA from J D Electronics
    Hyderabad.A few days after installation my neighbours have complained to me that
    they cant sleep due the noise of my A/C.I have immediately complained to
    service centre who promptly attended four to five times but could not rectify the A/C.

    Thereafter, I have sent mail to support.[protected]@samgsung.com on 03/11/09 who immediately wanted to know my address which I have provided on 04/11/09.
    This time Samsung remained silent.I have sent another reminder on 23/11/09;
    result being the same.No body has ever contacted me.I think I am being

    i totally agree that Samsung AC's are the worst ac's with no service. It is a waste of your money to buy Samsung AC, coz there is no guarantee and warrranty, as to how many days it will function properly.

    i too had bought a samsung AC some time back around 3 years, from the very next day it started giving problem, on calling the service centre, they very conveniently replaced it with an old ac... again battling for about a month, they sent a new AC... but till date, i have been spending more than 5000/- per year to keep this Ac functioning.. i guss it suites best in the TRASH bin...

    Please DO NO BUY SAMSUNG AC's for you cant trust this brand at all

    I bought the Samsung 2.0 ton ac AS24FJXTL on[protected]. The samsung service center guys came to installl it. Now when i started using the AC this summer its not cooling. When i call samsung they sent people to look at the problem they came and said THE SPLIT AC OUTER UNIT WAS NOT INSTALLED PROPERLY and as its 1 year ans 2 month its out of warranty and will have to pay for that.

    I say its . If they didnt install it properly its totally there fault and they got to get it fixed. Its there CRAP SAMSUNG service center guys fault fixing the outer unit of ac wrongly. I have booked several complaints and most of the times the senior official dont pick up the phone. I dont understand do they do it intensionally.

    I am feed up with them. I want to book a complaint against them for fraud and 420.

    Samsung — Non Functioning of air conditioner right from the date of installation

    Dear Sir,
    We have bought window ac AWT12ZKA (1 ton) from one of your reputed dealer at Chennai on 3.3.2009 vide their bill no:7590. Since the date of installation it functions erratically or to the least being very silent all the time. You can very well verify your regional complaint registry about the frequency of my complaints. To start with your engineers advised to restructure connection to three phase and later to install booster and now they stopped visiting us for service. Very recently we have registered our complaint on 5th may 2010 (ref No:[protected]) which was not at all cared to any basic response. All their claim is the service engineers are flooded with complaints and hence the delay. Just imagine once the service station is becoming hectic to such activities one may wonder about the product quality. We are senior citizens and hence we have decided to donate your AC to your registered office so that your trainee engineers will atleast learn how an AC should not function. It is quite unfortunate that this AC is a gift by my son to his elderly parents.

    I bougth the samsung 2.0 ton split ac, AS24USB on, 9 april 2010 . Firstly within a month it stopped working complete gas from the outer unit was leaked and when i complained to the service center, none of the technician turned up within 4 days of complain and when the technician came, he attended the complain empty handed without any tool for leakeg, as i have already said in the complain that there is lekage.then after 2 days engineer came and repaired it and he said that the AC was not properly installed.Now again on 28 july 2010 the same problem again occured, and again i have to complain for same problem. Now the same problem is occured again so, i want my AC to be replaced and i want the explanation form the samsung electronics that why this problem has occured again. If my product will not be replaced as soon as possible, i have to complain to the CONSUMER COURT against samsung that the product which i have recieved is defective and I want the replacement as soon as possible...

    sir i have purchased samung ac from its authorised dealear shree nath arcade .my ac is not working since the beggining of this summer i have complaint a lot to dealer ,to customer care no. once company man has come to repair it but he condnt and he told that he will come afterwards with some parts and his equipment and thatst the day and today in last three monts they condnt repair my ac. ....... i am very disaapointed with my decision to buy samsung ac and i have swell not to buy any samsung products in future.because i need company that give after sell sirvice if my ac is not repasir with in fifteen days i will publish big big advertisment in newspaper about samusung service and try to tell all the citizen of neemuch not to buy any samsung product/................ my self JAGDISH CHANDRA BALDI ......ADD....415 VIKASH NAGAR 14/2 NEEMUCH......CELL [protected].....RES..[protected]
    I am also facing the problems due to samsung service centers wrong commitments.
    I have a 1.5 ton window ac from samsung. It was not cooling, I complained at customer care. The person came and after diagnosing told that it is due to leakage of gas and it will cost 1526 Rs for rectifying. The next day he called up and told that coil is damaged and it will cost 5000 Rs. I felt cheated. I was in dilemma what to do... I called up him next morning at 10:00 am. I asked him to return the ac. He told that he can ask for 10-15% discount from company if I want to get the damaged repairs. I had already lost faith in them, this made me more suspicious. Then he told that it will charge 476 Rs (service + TPT), and he can deliver only next day as the van has already gone.This was again ridiculous.. these people are just fooling the customers. I hope they don't replace the original parts.

    I want that our voice should reach to the correct ears and the matter should be solved. Some full proofing needs to be done in system.

    Samsung - Air conditioner — Regarding Free Service

    I have bought Samsung Split Air Conditioner and they told me that they was giving free services during first year but still their engineer has not visited for same. I have logged complaint on their customer care number but still there is no follow up from their side.
    your customer service is WORST EVER. I purchased an AC last year and within one year it stopped cooling. I registered a complaint 5 days ago after two days they took the AC to the service center and and did not bring it back. I have made several phone calls, even spoke to some supervisor named Vipul Kumar who promised to call back like every other executive but neither i have got my AC nor any call from samsung. PATHTIC SERVICE POOR, QUALITY PRODUCTS. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER SAMSUNG PRODUCT.

    Samsung — complaint for air conditioner

    my compaint no is [protected] done from date 28jul and till date despite several reminders no body had visited our premises we are retired and old couple and had been calling again and again and no response and facinf problem in airconditioner

    I had purchased Samung 1 ton AC in 2011 and was very efficient even when voltage was low during summer. I shifted my house in Feb 2013. Uninstallation and installation were both carried by Samung representative. However, when I switched on the AC in March, I found the cooling effect was low. I raised a complaint and the service engineer told that the Gas content is very low and hence, cooling effect is low. I argued that since installation was done by Samsung team, Gas needs to be filled free of cost. After an arguement, Service centre agreed to re-check and then, required action will be taken. This time, another technician who had actually installed the AC verified the compressor and confirmed that there is no leakage and Gas content is fine. Cooling effect is low due to low voltage during night time. After this, I continued using the AC until June as usual assuming that the low cooling effect is due to power fluctuation.

    After that, I never used AC until mid of September. When I switched on AC in mid of September this year, the cooling effect was NIL even where there is sufficient power supply. I raised a complaint and the technician visited my place. He told me that there is no Gas at all and need to be re-filled. I agreed to pay Rs.2600 for re-filling. Another technician visited next day to re-fill the gas. However, this time, this technician told me that the coil in the Compressor needs to be replaced, which costs Rs.3750. I sparingly use the AC, which amounts to max of 4 hours during summer. All the technicians who came for free as well as paid general service have appreciated that AC maintenance is very good from our side. In spite of this they are asking us to pay for the Coil and the gas leakage.

    **Below are the contents in Warranty card from Samsung:

    It states that there is a guarantee cover of 5 years for compressor. But the guarantee does not cover front cover grill, gas consumables and air filter.**

    As per layman understanding, the above condition directly implies that warranty is covered for all the parts except the above mentioned 3 parts. Also, the life of the coil in the compressor is very short inspite of the AC being used sparingly. **Is this the quality Samsung provides?**

    I raised a complaint to Samsung customer care for the clarification on the coil to be replaced. I was conferenced by Mr. Mohan (Samsung Customer Service Executive) to Mr. Michael, who I assume is the Area Service Manager for Samsung by Customer Service executive. However, Mr.Michael, was so rude to me and he disconnected the call in between while I was still waiting for him to convince me on the guarantee and the quality of the product.

    All I wanted to know is below:

    1) As per the warranty issued by Samsung, only 3 parts namely front cover grill, gas consumables and air filter are not covered. This means that all other parts are covered including Coil since it is fitted inside the Compressor.
    2) Is there anything in writing which states that Coil is not covered under 5 year warranty even though it is fitted within the compressor.

    Why should I pay for the gas re-filling and also the coil when I have got the uninstallation and re-installation from the company? It is because of the technician's fault that there was a gas leakage.

    If anyone has faced similiar situation, please respond.

      SAMSUNG TV GIVES VERY BAD SHOCKS- SAMSUNG DOES NOT CARE

      Samsung TV (Model CS29 M (74CM) gives very bad shocks at the in and out terminals and antenna terminal. Be careful. You may be lucky so far.

      You are fortunate if you do not perceive a shock, even if you have one such TV. But …….. Read on for full story…..

      The above model gives very bad shocks from the day one. After repeated complaints, the Samsung service team started giving telephonic advices how to test for a shock or how to get one.

      Still more complaints…., the service personnel informed us that all their sets give the shock as if that is nothing new. I refuted their point that all TVs give shock.

      Then one day they graced their presence; the manager was more careful about his life as he did not touch the set but asked his assistant to touch. The service personnel touched the set and got the shock. I showed them TVs like LG, Phillips and Akai which did not have any sign of shock.

      Then the service man measured the shock potential by touching the set with his bare dry hands on a dry winter day. It measured more than 30 Volts and he was wearing socks on his feet.

      High technology team at Samsung knows that it is close to result in a death.

      The service manager tried to convince me with some technical lingo how modern TV sets give shock. I rebutted them in equal technical language.

      On the advice of the manager, the service man removed a certain component from the set. I asked them what the purpose of it is. Or is it deliberately used by Samsung to introduce a shock to human beings?
      The manager informed me that it is a component basically to protect the set from lightening and high voltage surges and spikes.

      I protested removal of such vital component, which will expose the set to dangers sooner or later. Samsung will happily wash of their hands after one year.

      The set was then left in that condition in spite of my protests.

      After another complaint, their manager from Chennai made a long telephonic talk, bamboozling me with some more technical lingo, but the shock threat remains. He accepted his sets give shock but tried to prove that all TV sets give shock; only some may not perceive when they use cable network.

      If all TVs made in this country give shocks, we as a nation are in for a shock!!!

      Then this manager from Chennai came and accepted that he was against removal of that component. He however brought a new printed circuit board and inserted in our TV.

      Alas! This one also gives serious shocks.

      It finally proves that all TVs made by Samsung give dangerous shocks. Be careful.

      No further action from them!

      Samsung ignored my further mails and continue to sell their sets happily to hapless country men.

      They do not belong to the class of Nokia or Sony.

      It is dangerous. Any one o[censored]s can be next victim!!! It will not bother Samsung.

      What if, for them if some more get a shock in the multitude of millions in India?

        I have purchased one samsung HTP10 Home theater system from Qatar.I brought it to India.With in one year I got power supply complaint.Service person came to my residence and they told it is not covering international warranty. Therefore I had to spend 2500INrR for replacing the power supply board.With in 15 days after replacing the power supply board again the player got complaint.I register the complaint but the technician told that have to replace the amplifier board .The service person telling 1500INR more will take for the replacing the AMP board

              this is the complaint for the Window AC of Smasung 1.6 Tonne Biosleep mode which I Purchased on 3rd April its hardly a Month that of the purchansing of the AC. From the day I purchased the AC it's Cooling is not up to the mark and the Window grill is Defective because of which the cooling is not proper .i have Complaint atleast twice in there Complaint center but in vain no guy of samsung came to resolve the issue. i am very much frusted as the Summer is at High Peak and i am not getting any support from SAMSUNG . i am even planning to move to consumer court for this matter as i am very very frusted with the after sale service of samsung . and will request with all the intenet user to read my this message and never to purchase any product of samsung .

              Samsung — AC cooling is not upto mark

              Sir,
              I had bought a split AC of 1.5 ton from SAMSUNG plaza , Amritsar four years back. since Aug-2009 I am facing the problem with the same for which no of times I had contacted the authorized service centre M/s Raja enterprise persons and even the company officials Mr. Suraj. Complaint regarding the same was also registered at their call centre . But they are not able to resolve the problem.I had been charged also for the same.

              More over the owner of M/s Raja enterprise, Mr. Hira has used abusive language with me. I donot know Samsung people value their customers or not. But I am confident in India consumer will get the value for his money which he has spent.

              Dear Sir,

              This is Kunal. I purchased a samsung biosleep AC 14 months back and it's not colling since last 1 week. I have called customer care around 10-15 times against the compalint number [protected], but they just tell me that someone will come to my place and fix the AC within that day and again the next day, I have to call. I am really frustrated with customer care as AC is still not fixed. Samsung is such a well known company and this is the service I am getting. If this form is really for escallation, please have my AC fixed ASAP.

                  I bought a Samsung Refrigerator modelno RT23 on March 29, 2008. We found out that the refrigerator is shaking when we open the door. The cabinet is fully damaged. The body has got bent from side. We complained to the dealer after 13 days. Also we informed the Samsung customer executive to give a new replacement of the fridge.

                      After using Samsung washing machine for two years in Singapore, I thought to buy Samsung Products after I returned to India.
                      Luckily, Samsung came up with some Corporate Offer in my office so I ordered Samsung Washing Machine & Samsung refrigerator.Samsung dealer promised me to deliver the products with in two days.
                      I didn't get delivery of the products even after a week. I called Samsung dealer. After 2-3 follow ups, he asked me to check with Samsung official (Mr. Sourabh). I called Sourabh to check about delivery of my order. He told me that he'll arrange the delivery in two days. To my surprise I didn't get products even after two days. Every time I called him, he excused for 1-2 days. Then I called Regional Manager of Samsung to check about my order.

                      To my surprise, he told me that he's aware of the case and would be able to deliver the products in 2-3 days.

                      I was really pissed off with such service from a well known brand "SAMSUNG".
                      My family was facing problem since a week without refrigerator, so, I just cancelled my booking (forgetting about my adavance paid to Samsung), I picked up the refrigerator and Washing Machine from Samsung Plaza (another delaer in Noida) at a higher price.

                      After using Samsung refrigerator for 20 days, refrigerator suddenly stopped working on Friday (25th April 2008). I called samsung customer care and explained the problem.
                      Samsung engineer visited us and removed the ice frozen in Frreezer Case. He told now it'll work properly.
                      But just after one day again there is no cooling. I called Samsung Customer Care yesterday but till now no Engineer has visited us.

                      I'm really repenting on my decision of Buying Samsung products.

                      This is my humble request to the people that please don't buy any product of videocon and sansui because these two are same companies and they don't know how to give proper service because they dont care once the product has been sold to the customers , They have small dealers who sell their products without bills even their products are under warranty they don't entertain their customers.Someone please teach them how to serve customers to generate good customers in the Market.LG , Samsung , Sony etc are ruling the market coz they give full service to their customers.

                          when ever i tried to make a call the call is going and the person on next side is receving, but can't able to hear anything, this is continuing for past one month, i have complained thrice to customer care no, they told it will b set rite.. but its noy so.. i face the problem in incoming calls also..
                          per day iam loosing nearly Rs10 like this.. its too hectic, if not able to make and recive calls then for what do v hv mobile.. its not happens with me, but for all the persons who use Airtel..that to only from last month, iam a student in ISM Dhanbad and here all my frds too hv the same prob's..
                          some time when i call chennai its going to bengal and alot of nonsense problem like this..

                            I had bought Samsung A/C and have been using it for 1 year. Exactly after the one year period, which ended in March 2008 of them showed problems. One of them is apparently having gas leakage. It seems only one authorized service center is present in Trivandrum. Inspite of following up for 6 to 7 days, they are not coming. And they are asking me to take AMC. How can I take AMC, without seeing a good customer service? I am going through a horrible experience with SAmsung service in Trivandrum. DO NOT BUY Samsung AC in Trivandrum or in Kerala. I wonder why Samsung company is not paying attention to this. If they really care, they need to do something fast.

                            I wonder how a company like Samsung has still being able to do business. Probably because in India we have the 'Chalta Hai' attitude.
                            They spend crores of rupees in advertising but don't take after sales services seriously at all. I am an unfortunate owner of Samsung Window -AC which is requiring another gas-recharge in less than four months period.
                            I did approach Samsung Service Centre at first, four months back, but they did not honour and attend the call for a whole week, ultimately I received a message on mobile saying that we are cancelling the call since the customer did not agree with the estimated cost of repair i.e it is the customer who has to be blamed after keeping him in waiting for a week.

                            Can anyone of you suggest that how much shall it cost me to get the gas recharge done by Samsung Service personnel in Delhi?

                            my AC got repaired jus 2 months after the warranty period.
                            they took the AC repaired and charged me nearly 6000 rupees.
                            i called the manager samsung and talked, he is telling this wud happen in some ACs and they cudn help us.

                            i suggest everyone who wanna buy a AC, not to go for samsung.
                            its really waste of money.even the cooling is not as good compared to other ACs.

                            Samsung A/C — Servicing issue

                            I have a samsung window 1.5 A/C. I requested for its servicing on 25th March 2010 and I was given a complaint no. [protected]. For the last 21 days I am calling their service centre almost every alternate day as no one has come for servicing as of now and i'm just getting assurances from their customer care department that someone will visit or call you.
                            Now to my surprise twice, their customer care department told me that their system tells that my A/C needs to be carried to their service center as there is some gas leak.
                            Now I dont understand how can they update their system without even sending someone to check the A/C. I am looking for your help here in solving this matter and I would also appreciate if you could tell me that can someone sue a company for its after sales services.

                            I agree with you about the frustration. A week ago my AC stopped working. I opened a ticket#[protected] with Samsung Support. One of the engineer came and confirmed that the compressor is bad. I have showed them the bill and it is well within Warranty but looks like Samsung is in no mood to support their bad product. Their is no response from Samsung customer care and service center and I have to call them multiple times a day only to hear, "The engineer will come to your place in 24 hrs." If there is any sensible person from Samsung reading this email then please do something about it otherwise you just lost a customer and I will make sure that the word of mouth is something that I can give others as well. With the poor after sale service I am in no doubt this company will either be taken over or will completely shut down.

                            even i suggest not to go for sumsung ac. this product is total waste. and customer care is total waste.
                            my indoor unit is leaking .i placed many complaine some one is coming doing something and it going bad to worst.

                              I purchased an AC from Gurgaon Big Bazar on the 19th April 2008 with the condition that the AC would be installed within three days.
                              Till this hour ( 6 pm of 27th April) the AC has not been installed. The people in charge of this in the Big bazaar are very indifferent and discourteous. I had talked to the concerned peopole several times. the reply is that theu are not sure when it would be done.

                              On the same day, that is 19th April, I purchased a mini room cooler of Telex make. The water pump of the cooler stopped working from the second day. I had registered a complaint onthe customer care number. Ther has been no response till now.

                                HI,
                                I bought a Samsung AC 1 ton from Snehanjali, SV Road, Kandivali West Mumbai. They have given me a faulty AC and now are refusing to exchange the same. I bought the ac on 23/4/08 and got the delivery yesterday, 24/04/08. During the installation it was found that the ac is faulty and it's panel is broken. On contacting the dealer, he initially refused to exchange it and asked me to contact the company. The Store manager was extremely rude and started using foul language. I warned him this would be escalated to the police, I was told do whatever you wat to do. after sometime, I recieved a call from the merchant apolgising and said that they replacethe ac. But I will have to give the faulty ac to the installation fellow who works for them on contract. When asked for a reciept that they have picked up the a/c from me, Snehanjali refused to provide any such receipt and asked me to believe on word of mouth. Since yesterday night I hae been getting threatening calls from Snehanjali telling me that they will not help and if want my money back, I sould take the ac to their showroom and take my money. Else they are not responsible for anything. I have contacted Samsung but they have not assisted me yet despite of requesting them that my mother is unwell and I need the a/c to be fixed asap.

                                Samsung 1.5 Ton Window Air Conditioners bought in Jan 2007 — Air Conditioner stops functioning every now and then

                                I had purchased 1 Samsung 1.5 Ton AC on 04th Jun 2006. Also I had the misfortune of purchasing 4 more Samsung (Two 1.5 tom window ACs, One 1.5 Ton Split AC and one 2 Ton Split AC) on 20th Jan 2007. All of these ACs (three 1.5 Ton window ACs in particular) stop functioning every now and then. In the last Two and a Half years these ACs would have been repaired by Samsung Service Centres at least 10 times in the last one year itself for which I have records and many more time for which unfortunately I don't have any records. But I am sure a company like Samsung would be having records for all the repairs. The ones that I have are:

                                At present 2 of my ACs are gathering dust in the Samsung Service Centres, one from 16th June 2009 and the second from 23rd June 2009. I have been calling up Samsung service centres many times for me to just get a status update. The complaint nos are [protected] and [protected]. Service centre will be able to get full details of complaints under these reference numbers.

                                After more than 15 days of follow up yesterday evening I have received a courier from Alfa Refrigeration Company stating that many parts have to be changed and gas to be refilled and cost would be approximately Rs. 10, 000 after a "Discount" of Rs. 4, 000.

                                Out of the above 2 ACs one was taken to the service centre on 02 Jun 2009 and returned to me 12 Jun 2009 and they have charged me Rs. 1, 765 for gas filling and other works. When asked about why it took them 10 days to fill up gas the service centre people mentioned that they were "checking the AC thoroughly" and hence it took 10 days to return it.

                                The same AC stopped functioning on 20 Jun 2009 (8 days it worked well!!!) and was taken to the Service centre on 23 Jun 2009.Now they are coming back and saying that a number of parts are to be changed! The earlier 10 day “thorough “ checking in June 2009 itself did not reveal any of these faulty parts is a real mystery. It is pertinent to note that EVAP Assy for this AC was already changed on 06 Oct 2008. Samsung now wants to change all parts one by one for their manufacturing defects it looks like.

                                May I humbly request you to please help this helpless customer to get some redressal? Samsung should be forced to replace my ACs and forced to pay a hefty compensation. I don't want that money which can be given to some charities.

                                These big corporations are taking poor customers for a real ride.

                                  i had bought one AC - samsung 1.5 ton from next retail shop benjamin road ludhiana on 21 april 2008 and got it installed on 22 april 2008.
                                  since the day i bought the AC it has not been cooling effectively one can not feel any difference in the room temperature and outside temperature.
                                  despite my telephonic complaints and personal visit to next showroom the fault is yet to be rectified.
                                  a big brand and India's largest retail chain indulging in all these petty things.
                                  i demand the problem to be diagnosed and the AC replaced (just 3 days old).

This way the price difference is Rs 1300/-. This is nothing but cheating.They just scratch at the MRP of the outer cartoon box, so that the customer will not know the exact MRP, and then explain higher price with higher discount offered.                                   I had a bitter eexperience with NExt retail shop @ marthahalli Branch, Bangalore.

                                  I went to buy an IFB Diva washing machine with my child. During the visit my kid made a small pen mark on th machine in my presence, for which she got a scold from me. Later i made the payment & the machine was delivered to me after 24 hours. I was shocked to see the machine with PEN mark which was made by my child. When i asked the executives about the demo machine delivered to me, they refused to take my words & deliver the brand new machine. Still am struggling for it.

                                  Samsung / 1.5 ton window ac — Broken product delivered and not replacing it.

                                  I bought a window ac (1.5 ton Samsung) on 17 may 09, it was damaged and I complained to the customer care on 22 may 09, when i saw the damage. Now samsung is making excuses and not replacing the parts or the ac. i want my whole money back, including the extra i had to pay for installing and also my phone bill because i made a lot of phone calls also. And also i had to suffer in heat because of them. So I want to return the AC and be compansated for it.

                                    Subject: Poor product & poor service workmanship - 1.5 T split AC - BP No. [protected]

                                    Dear Sir,

                                    I bought my Samsung Split AC in May 2005. This product has not given me satisfactory performance even during warranty period or outside the warranty period.
                                    Within warranty period, gas leaked out 3 times, and most of the times in blistering summer I was continuously following up with your call centre to get repair done. Even my cooling coil was repaired during warranty period.

                                    Even in 2007 summer timing, gas was filled again 2 times. Even after that cooling was never effective in this Samsung product.

                                    This time, in 2008, I reported a problem of AC not working and your service team recommended to replace the cooling coil due to leak. This was done by charging me Rs. 4700/- on April 12 by your service team. No leak check was done while replacing the cooling coil, even after my repeated requests. My AC stopped functioning again within next 2 days and I again called your call centre for this problem. This time, service engineer told me that there was another leak which he has fixed, and filled gas again and made my AC run. My AC again stopped functioning after 2 days and your service engineer told me to get my voltage stabilizer checked, after I logged complaint at call centre for the 3rd time in less than a week's time. I got my voltage stabilizer checked from an external agency by paying another 250/-. Even after that, my AC worked only for 1 day and stooped functioning again. I had to log another complaint (4th time in ten days) at your call centre on April 23rd. This time your service engineer told me that he will remove the unit from installation, take it to service centre and check completely. It has been over 24 hrs, in this blistering summer, that your service engineer removed my AC from installation at my home and left it at my place, but no body has even come and collected the unit for taking to service centre. I have no clue that when will this unit be collected from my home, and repaired and installed back at my place???

                                    I am extremely nervous about the level of product quality Samsung has provided, along with the worst workmanship shown during repairs. My product has not been made functional even after 3 repairs in ten days. 4th repair is under progress, without any timeline to finish. I am really worried that I will have to spend most of this summer, again, in calling up Samsung Service Centres for one or another problem in this Samsung AC. In doing this, I am spending my precious time and energy; apart from phenomenal discomfort to my entire family due to non functioning of this product.

                                    I am now thinking of going to Consumer Court since I have already spent money and time, without even getting a satisfactory repair done on my product. Actually, I should do that for the poor product quality as well since this product itself is unable to perform since the time it was bought. Your service records should tell you the entire history, if you have good service data management.

                                    Please take a note of this and ensure that workmanship improves significantly so that repeat problems and customer harassment can be avoided. I will not call Samsung if the problem persists, and would simply dump this product onto you and buy new AC; and would contact Consumer court for the harassment I have been given by Samsung India and Samsung Service Dept.

I told your engineer that it’s a manufacture fault You never come to know that from where its leak. I have paid for the same also. but Yesterday (30 march 08)I had put on my AC But its not cooling at all, compressor is getting on.

                                    We have been waiting for the installaion for more than a week. finally the seller has arranged us the samsung installation dealer MR.Gopi (Phone No:[protected]). he made us wait 4 four days and rotate us here and there for one simple installation. We kept on looking, finally fed up and he arranged a mechanic. the A/c installation mechanic (name unknown and ph no:[protected]) on thursday(24-Apr-08). we actually asked him not to cheat us and if he cannot able to make it up by the time he said then to please inform us. but the mechanic scold us that if we urge him he will delay it further and will not work on our A/C. i got fed up and called back the installation dealer gopi(Phone No:[protected]).
                                    But the response is further idiotic. Gopi replied us that if that if the mechanic is not interested then he asked us to arrange our own installer.

                                    We shocked and called back our seller. But the Seller has no idea about what to do. finally we came to a conclusion not to use Samsung A/c and we have now asked our seller to replace it with some other Company A/c.

                                    Due to poor customer handling we regret to use Samsung products anymore and we fed up with the service rendered.

                                    I bough my spilit AC from your kanpur dealer M/S Vishal Sales, Swaroop nagar. After Installation The AC is showing error E3 and is unable to run. I have register a complaint regarding this and my complained No: is [protected]. After several reminders nobody is taking care of it. I have talked with Mr Tejinder, Harish at your kanpur service center and also with Mr Pankaj at Vishal sales and they are saying that our person will visit today, tommorow but no one has come . Please take it seriously and resolve the problem. Otherwise i am getting a feeling that samsung will expires it warrantee like this only.

After doing several services and two replacement till now the problem was not solved. till now for this i have called the call center and service engineers for more than 50 times.                                     i have lodged the complaing ragarding the Noice in A.C and you engineer has visited and some part needs to be replaced which is still not available in your stock which is really no acceptable at all with such a brand ...i am also working for an MNC bank and the main core of our existance in Indian Markets are only the Services only and solely because of the services what we can only give to the customer till their satisfaction level...

                                    and you call centres & Service centres are just for nothing they were just their to forward the calls here and their since last 20 days but no body has the solution for that...

                                    I was buying Hitachi Air-conditioner but your dealer ensure me about the quality and service backup of your product and Company but I m sorry to say I have never experienced such a bad service backup ever in my life. And if this is your service I never recommend any of my colleagues or relatives to buy any of Samsung products.

                                    and just to add one thing here by giving this kind of services you are spoiling such a brand name in the market as well as you are spoiling the dealer's or distributors business also ...and i dont think so he will be able to carry out the good sales because of your such poor servie level

                                    You are requested to kindly take your air conditioner back or replace the indoor unit or refund my money i will go for some other co's AC at least i get get the better services than you
                                    Otherwise I will not hesitate to take legal action on your company

                                    I paid about $2400 for my Samsung 61' TV. About eight months after I bought it a white, hourglass shaped blob appeared in the lower right hand quadrant, whenever the screen became darker - while I was watching a program. The TV was still covered by the warranty. I called Samsung; they sent a local tech; he said that I needed a new light engine; the techs at Samsung wouldn't authorize one - they said that it's normal operating procedure to have a white, hourglass shaped blob on the screen while you're watching TV.
                                    I called back and complained. They sent another technician who changed the light engine. The new light engine had the same blob, but in a different spot, so the tech put the original light engine back in. Then he came back and tried another light engine. This one had a crack in one of the tiny mirrors, which showed up on the screen as a line about three inches long. He took that light engine out and put the original back in. Then he came back with yet another light engine. This one seemed to work fine for a day, but then I noticed streaks of light jutting diagonally into the screen from left and right. I called Samsung. At first they said that they would replace the TV, but then they said that they didn’t have one in stock, but they would give me a smaller one if I paid them more money. I asked them to send the repairman back. They sent the repairman back. He said it looked like another problem with the light engine. The repair people in Williston, Long Island wanted pictures. My camera is not sensitive enough to pick up the streaks. The repair people would not send the repairman back. They told me to call Samsung. It has now been nine months. I called Samsung. I’m waiting for them to call me back. In the meantime, since I had purchased the extended warranty from Best Buy, I decided to try their repair dept. They said that they would have to take the TV. Of course I figure that if they take the TV and declare it un-repairable, Samsung will take a lifetime to send me a new TV. So I will have spent $2400.00 and not have any TV. I don’t trust Samsung; they refuse to honor their own warranty.

                                    Samsung Split A/C — 15 days waiting

                                    I am very frustrated with Samsung as they removed the o/d unit 12 days ago and left the repaired unit at my place a week ago and nobody has come to re-install it. Instead they are asking for re-installation charges as the original place they say is too high - also fittled by authorized Samsung people less than a year ago. How does one get our problems heard at the higher levels? Everyday I am assured it will be done today and everyday no call, no update, no visit, nothing!

It is not cooling the room less than 23 degree room Temperature as well as the machine is consuming High Voltage i.e. ( 4.7 to 4.8 Amp. ) which is more than .6 Amps from your specified max. load ( 3.8 to 4.1 Amp ) for that I was made complain so many times but the complain is not short out further I would like to request you that please make rectified within 7 days unless I have to move for the legal consiprency / consumer court.

                                    i purchased samsung window ac, on 6.05.09 but it was on repair in just a week.we called the customer service many times n after that we told the dealer from where we got the ac that we are goin to deal legally n after that those people made some arrangements for us.we actually suffered for about a month without air conditioning.so u better try in some effective way so that thoes people try to look at ur problem.

                                    Samsung Window AC — delay of installment

                                    i have bought this ac from anondomela on 23rd this month and till date they havent come to install the ac..when we call them they say they will be coming but they dont turn up...i would be highly obliged if you look into this matter as early as possible
                                    Gas leakage problem with after installation of new Samsung Split 1.5 Ton AC.

                                    I bought SAMSUNG 1.5 Ton SPLIT - 18ULA Sr.No.[protected] IN & Sr.No.[protected] OUT unit. From M/s. RAVI CORPORATION, GODHRA on[protected] vide Bill No.3/278 Dt.[protected]. The Installation of AC was done by non-technical person, so that it was Improper & Loose installation of out door unit & indoor unit. The AC had problem of cooling after the very first day of improper installation. I have complained about my AC not cooling and water leaking from indoor unit to deler for 3 to 4 times but the problem is not solved. Two days back the deler said the out door unit has problem of leakage of gas. Because of Improper & Loose installation the gas was leaked from out door unit.

                                    So kindly send your people to rectify our problem or take necessary action.

                                    So, please send your engineer to sort out matter as early as.

                                    SAMSUNG AIRCONDITIONER & WASHING MACHINE — SPLIT AC IS NOT FUNCTIONING AND WATER LEAK IN WASHING MACHINE

                                    I had purchased samsung Split Ac 1.5 TR and Automatic Washing Machine from M/s Deepak Agencies, Ajmer ( Rajasthan ) one year back .

                                    It has been last 15 days, the both the system has not been made OK. In such a summer day the malfunctiong of AC can't be tolerated. Though after informing M/s Deepak agency, persons are coming to repair the system, but they are unable to find out the fault. The new Split AC has been completely dismateled several times with out any solution to it. It has become mockery of the system by experimenting on the machine without any result. Similary the Washing machine is having water leakage outside it.

                                    Henceforth i have decided not to purchase the Samsung product if the problem is not attended immidiately to the satisfaction o[censored]ser.

                                    WORST SERVICE in SAMSUNG I raised a complaintthat my AC is not working properly.They came and analysed that the gas has been leakaged, so compressor is not working. The compresor is within the warranty period<bought less than 2Yrs>, but they charged Rs.2150 + Rs.450 as service charge. Then what is the use of warranty? Also, they said they need to change the Aluminium coil to copper coil <which is again their mistake of providing Aluminium wire during purchase>. They again charged Rs.2600 + Rs.400 as a service charge.

                                    For a single complaint, they were charging me the service charge twice. How foolish is this! This kind of problems should be taken care by higher officials to shine in market.

In the last 8 months there were 4 major breakdowns, in all cases the service people fund basic machine problems and they solved it. Last Friday once again it failed and we tried contacting the SAMSUNG service people almost 24hrs around the clock but so for it is not solved. They keep saying that they will arrange the relevant people and fix the problem but NOTHING has happened so for.                                     Voltas/Voltas window ac — Unsatisfied servicing by poor workmanship

                                    Dear Sir,

                                    This has reference to Complaint Registration No. 10AP[protected] dated 09th Apr 2010, regarding servicing of Votas window air-conditioning at premises no. A-7/24, Sector - 18 Rohini, New Delhi – 110089.

                                    Servicing complaint attended on 10th Apr 2010, and charged Rs. 350/- for said servicing.

                                    During test run for few seconds after the servicing though there was some abnormal sound observed in running of air-conditioning we presumed that it may be due to the servicing which carried out just now, but after ½ an hours when again the same sound continuously observed than re-reported the complaints in customer care of Voltas and briefed them the way servicing carried out by the attended technician.

                                    The way technician was handling the unit and performing the servicing one can easily make out the competency/expertise of technician, I am sorry to say that Voltas sending some vendor to carry out the service is not monitoring the performance of that vendor on ground, ultimately the customer is sufferer due poor workmanship quality delivered to customer.

                                    On second complaint No. 10AP1005476 dated 10th Apr 2010, the technician visited the site demanded Rs. 1800/- to replace the motor which has been damaged after servicing, but before servicing unit was performing well, problem started after the servicing only. This way penalizing the customer by charging extra on poor workmanship is not fair.

                                    Since 10th Apr onwards we are regularly interacting with executive of Voltas customer care, they only assuring us that they will resolve the issue but nothing has been done so far.

                                    Hence please look in to the matter.

                                    Your prompt action in regards of above shall be highly appreciated.

                                    Samsung — AC not working

                                    I would rate after sale service of Samsung as "Pathetic" and I've got full reason to say the same. My AC is not working since last 4 days and I launched my complaint with Samsung on 31st May 2010 at 2:35 pm and that time I was being told that I'll receive a call from someone in Samsung and my AC will be repaired on the same day. I didn't receive any call on that day, next day (second day) I called up once again and I got an assurance that today they are escalating my case and I'll get a call back from the call centre as well as the service centre - as expected - no call, even on my repeated request to the customer care representative to transfer my call to the floor supervisor he didn't transfer my call, I called twice and both time the same thing happened and rather a false statement was conveyed to me stating that the representative had a word with the service centre guy and someone is going to visit my home within an hr. time. No one came on that day even after 2 calls one in the noon time and one in the evening time. Next day (third day) that is on 2nd May I didn't call Samsung and didn't even receive any call as well. Next day (fourth day) - 3rd May I call up in the morning to the customer case centre people read the same standard script that you'll receive a call in a short while - again the same thing no call back. I again called up in the evening I tried to explain the scenario, once again I heard the same standard script that I'll receive a call back, this time I was adamant and I wanted to talk to the floor supervisor the person first of all clearly refused to transfer the call after a lot of pursuance, he transferred the call, after keeping approx 7-8 min on hold someone picked up the phone and disconnected without even talking to me, I again called up the customer care and this time I asked directly to transfer the call once again the person confirmed all of the details from me and again was adamant not to transfer the call but again after a lot of pursuance, the call was transferred and the same thing - call was disconnected after approximately 10 min of putting me on hold, third time I called again the same story but this time finally the call was transferred and picked up by one of the floor supervisor called Sumit. He told me a strange point that their records were saying that the case has already been closed!!!! It was really annoying for me, although he apologized for this mistake and promised me a call back from the service centre and gave me an assurance that this time the case will be taken seriously.

                                    As per Sumit’s promise I got a call from the service centre but the person was really rude, he was talking to me in a manner he is actually obliging me by giving me a call back, he treated me in an insulting manner, I requested him to send a service engineer matching to my office timings which is either at 8:00 am in the morning or at approximately 7:00 pm in the evening, he clearly refused to these timings, and mentioned me “If you want to get your AC repaired, you have to be available at the time I am mentioning not as per your ease, you can definitely take a one day vacation from office to get your AC repaired else wait for saturday” I clearly mentioned him this is not possible and I have to attend office due to some emergencies, he clearly mentioned, this is not his problem, either be at home to get AC repaired or he will send the person on Saturday! I requested him to send the representative at 6:00 even then he again he showed tantrums and mentioned “I can not guarantee for this time, but I’ll see if I could send someone at this time otherwise…..”.

                                    I am an asthmatic patient and it is a dusty atmosphere these days I have mentioned my situations and my disease to everyone in Samsung that I am daily getting asthmatic attacks because I am not sleeping in my AC room rather I am sleeping in an open room, but no one in Samsung really cares about it!. Can I know if Samsung really cares about their customers!!!! This is not the first time that the same instance is happening with me, this is the second instance in the same season, last time also my AC was repaired on 10th day of my complaint and this time also it is already the end of 4th day of my complaint, and I do not know how many more days do I need to wait!

                                    Can someone in Samsung explain what kind of customer service experience is this???? Do you really think that I can dare to purchase any of the Samsung product ever again in future or if could I dare to suggest anyone to buy any Samsung product ever again?

Though promises have been made by the supplier, no technician from Samsung has visited the premises to check the problem. This is not the kind of service expected from a company of your reputation.

                                    I have the worst nightmare dealing with ratna fan house for purchasing air conditioner and fride. After accepting that they would deliver on a particular day, they have delayed almost by one week. The response from them is very rude and non-courteous. Please note that they can no longer treat customers like and change their attitude towards the customers.
                                    i do agree with the services of Samsung. We bought a splict ac in March and this date it is not working properly. We complained in March itself to the dealer and then they filed a complaint with Samsung center but till date no action had been taken. There was a commitment that the ac will be replaced in one month but till date no such action has been taken.

                                    1.5 tons; SPLIT; — From the time it is bought we are not getting proper cooling

                                    We had purchased an ac from Higloo in June 2009 fr approx Rupees 33000/=.

                                    From the time it was installed, the cooling effect was very less.

                                    We had repeatedly called Higloo / Yogaa Agencies to check on this. Every time they had come to repair the AC, they could refill the gas and advize it should be ok.

                                    Finally after 1 1/2 year, due to continuous problem with the new instrument.

                                    Every month a person had to come for repair it.

                                    The complete instrument was dismantled and it was found the coil had holes in it which was causing leakage, preventing less cooling.

                                    Now we have got information frm Mr. Xavier of Samsung[protected] & Mr. Anand of Yogaa Agencies stating we need to pay for the coil, which cost approx INR 5000/= so that this is repaired.

                                    I need to know what went wrong fr me as a customer to pay fr this, pls look into this urgently and help to service the customer urgently.

                                    This is pending for more than 3 weeks.
                                    I purchased the SAMSUNG A/C 1.5 ton split- AST18EFB on the April of 2009 and faced frequent problems with the unit like water leakage, condenser charging, hot air blowing etc..past 2 weeks the A/C dint perform well and i experienced only hot air blowing inside the room. When i called up on the technical guys they came and reported that there was a GAS LEAKAGE and they removed the entire unit(indoor & outdoor) to their service place. They also mentioned that they would charge 2, 800/- Rs for filling gas and checking the leakage(by welding the copper coils)...if the leakage is on the Aluminum coil( 4 star & 5 star units utilizes Aluminum coil for less power consumption) then they have to replace the entire Al coil it seems. this would cost an additional 3, 500/- Rs.
                                    I am lodging my complaint against this product that in spite of i investing a huge sum i had to spend more frequently and this time the repair consolidating to 6, 300/-Rs. This is really frustrating as a customer to keep spending more and more for using a purchased product. I hereby claim that Aluminum coil usage in the SAMSUNG split A/C as fault product and also the gas leakage which shouldn’t happen so easily(poor material selection by SAMSUNG).
                                    Hence i would want SAMSUNG to consider this issue seriously and contact me regarding this. Failing so this complaint would be taken to Consumer court and i wouldn’t hesitate to sue the brand as further action without notification.
                                    This Samsung 4 star rated split 1.5 ton A/C on april of 2009. It has only 1 year warranty for the unit and 5 years for the compressor. It gave me lot of troubles every month like hot air blowing, Condenser discharged, water leakage inside etc. I had to call the technicians once in every month and fix it and spent a lot on this. I am against the AMC (stupid principle) to keep investing more and more on a product which is already invested and you get nothing out of it even u take AMC.
                                    Last two weeks i experienced only hot air blowing out of my unit and when i called up the technicians they told me that there was gas leakage in the Aluminum coil.( the unit has a aluminum coil set up that would consume less electricity power.) since it was Aluminum they would replace the unit completely and not weld it. it costs[protected] Rs extra and for filling in gas and transportation Rs 3000 separate...
                                    So tell me guys should a customer invest in a product and keep spending on a technically defect product?...i am really pissed...filling a consumer complaint against the Samsung.
                                    this leakage of gas problem is happening almost about 90% of Split A/C 4 star or 5 star rated and this happened within 1 year of installation. the normal rated split a/c has only copper coil which can withstand any temperature/pressure changes inside and outside the unit. but the 4, 5 star rated A/Cs' have a separate Aluminum coil (for less power consumption) but break off often resulting in gas leakage. This is a product defect and even if this leakage occurs due to Aluminum coil breakage the company is sole responsible for this and should replace it with a proper unit. I too have this problem now with the Samsung split A/C and i am waiting for them to replace it or i would file a case against them in consumer court.

                                      I have bought a Samsung 26" LVD TV on 06/04/2008 from Modern World, Domlur, Bangalore, India . While buying the TV saller told me that I will get the TV wall mount fixture from the company and for that I have to log for the demo. I logged the request for demo on 08/04/2008. After this I called almost 20 times I also wrote couple of mail to support.[protected]@samsungindia.com mentioning the demo and installation but still after more than 2 week no body has visited my house to resolve the complaint.
                                      Iam really Frustrated with the Customer Care.If I have to wait for 10 days for a new installation Iam really afraid how many days I have wait for a Service Call !!!.

                                      I have bought samsung AC on sunday.The shop owner said tht he will send a man to install the same in the same day afternoon.
                                      But noone turned up.Then we thot to call samsung directly and then we have launced a call the next day.they also told tht their engineer will come the same say.But noone turned up till now...
                                      But the customer care exe. are commiting tht their engineers will be coming..

                                      We have bought lot of samsung products thinking tht their service will be good.But its really worst.

                                      The AC is lying out waiting for the engineer to install it.

                                      I dont know when he will come.

                                      I bought a samsung Microwave Oven 118 . At that time We were told that there will never be any rusting. Recently there was sparking inside and we called a technician from Samsung. On checking we found to our horror that there was rusting inside and the technician informed that nothing can be done now. We have been very careful and always kept the microwave clean. But now since the rear wall had rusted the m/w cannot be used. We feel that we have been duped and due to poor manufacturing and bad quality of material used by the firm we have to face hardship. Kindly refer complaint No BP No [protected].

                                      Samsung India — Repeated complaints of TV

                                      I wish to share my sad state of affairs with samsung 29" colour TV purchased during August 2005here at Goregaon west, Mumbai. From last April the problems started one after the other with the complaints becoming non-stop since December 2007. I had spent already Rs.3000/- on repairs and twice they waived of the charges after I questioned them about the repeated incidence of complaints.

                                      Totally the set was attended 15 times since December with problem surfacing again today and the pathetic situation is nobody from Samsung knows as to why is it happening.

                                      I sincerely recommend everyone not to venture into any of Samsung products.

                                      I would also like to inform all would be costumers of smsung products to be very carefull whilst buying thier products. I had purchased a 42 inch LCD TV on 11th Oct 2008. Fortunately or unfortunately I observed a burnt out image on the screen.On confronting the dealer on it, I realised that an old display piece was delivered at my door steps. However the same was replaced on 22nd Oct 2008. This happened because I noticed the defect. I am sure almost all dealers must be doing the same. Therefore one should be extra cautious whilst taking delivery of any samsung product.

                                      Samsung people said that the whole LCD fame has to be changed, it will cost 37, 000 + 1000 ( service)+13% tax .

                                      We are sorry to purchase Samsung LCD through MGB electronics Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Tamilnadu on 12/02/2008 lcd 26R71 bal/xtl model vide serial no 08343PBQ100909X.

                                      We were using the LCD and were happy. We seen Crack in Liquid scrren inside and picture got cracked and we raised complained to MGB electronics some time in September 2008. They in turn advised us to call coimbatore and on our complain the service officer visited us and inpect the product. The service person told us that crack is due to some external damages and hence is not covered under warranty. The LCD was wall mounted and there were no external force applied on the screen to the best of our knowledge and belief. We pleaded the same and also requested him to do the best possible immediately.

                                      To our surprise the person over phone told that we have to pay 20000/- for repaiing the set and there is no warranty available.

                                      We raised issue further to the local office after several reminder to the officer who told that he is looking into matter and talking to higher officer for the best possible settlement.

                                      The local office in /tiruppur register our complain vide serial 10 on 14/10/2008 and assured us to do the needfull. however, even after several reminders no responsible officer is ready to take the calls / personal visits.

                                      Then I registered on web vide call no [protected] & [protected] for both I received call from a officer who told that he will be coming but never turned up and to my surprisse both calls has been showing cancel status.

                                      I have been using samsung moniter and mobile and had good regard for the company. I never expected that the matter shall be handled so bad in your office.

                                      I request you again to look into matter and replace me the LCD under warranty period which is now expiring.

                                      WE GOT CRACK IN LCD DISPLAYED IN SEP 2008 COMPLAINED AND THE PERSON INCHARGE REPLIED IT IS DUE TO EXTERNAL FORCE AND NOT READY TO LISTEN. NO DAMAGE ON TV EXCEPT INTERNAL LCD VISION CRACK.

                                      I purchased a 29" Samsung flat TV Model : CS29M16LVXXTL on 3 rd November 2005, from JP ELECTRONICS, Mira Road, Bombay. Two days back i.e on 8.7.09 night, the video suddenly stopped by decreasing into a spot . I made a complaint to the service centre on 9.7.09. The Complaint number : [protected]. Next day i.e on 11th July a mechanic came and initially opined IC problem. Later he told the picture tube is damaged. How a picture tube will be damaged, within 3 to 4 years. We use TV sparingly. Last two years, I am not staying even at Bombay continuously. My old TV, i.e EC TV, which I purchased in 1985, still working in good condition. Is it bad workmanship of Sam Sung ? After reading the above complaints, I think, we should advise our friends and colleagues, not to purchase any Samsung products. I have to rethink for our corporate purchases also better to black list Samsung products. So far I did not discuss with their higher ups. I may have to contact them and request for a good mechanic who can identify the problem and repair. I hope any one of the customer support officers may see this complaint and contact me and help me in solving my problem.

Inspite of repeated calls to the shop from where the TV was purchased at Bangalore, I am daily being promised that the co. person would come and fix the TV as well as give a demo, which is not yet done. Hope a solution is done for this because when a new TV purchased dosent have a good response I dont know wjhat would be later .

                                      LCD 22" Samsung tv — Defect not solved by service person

                                      I had 22" lcd tv with in warrenty period.
                                      Complaint to Customer care regarding problem.
                                      15 days passed, no solution found for my tv.
                                      Problem - First sound of tv get stop & then white band horizontally appears.
                                      Service person said to change some parts but not available at stock.

                                      My Complaint no - [protected] registered at Samsung Customer care.

                                      My warrenty period is running out on november.

                                      I am pratheep.i bought a samsung RC520 loptop on[protected] at croma-chennai-annanagar.after three days left a display-manufacturing-problem came.I have one year warranty for that laptop.Therefore i took that laptop and went to samsung service center.Their they told that "we will change your display and return within in one week"like that so i gave my laptop to them...

                                        DEAR SIR,

                                        I HAVE PURCHASED THE SAMSUNG MOLBILE MODLE X820 FROM THE DEALER IN SRINAGAR KASHMIR NAMELY SHAH WATCH CO.VIDE BILL NO-1785 DATED 15/06/07.
                                        IN THIS REGARD I WOULD LIKE TO CONVEY AFTER SOME TIME THE KEY PAD LIGHTS WERE NOT FUNCTIONING THEN I TAKE UP THE MATTER TO THE CONCERNED SERVICE STATION NAMELY ADIL ELECTRONICS, OPPOSITE IQBAL PARK SRINAGAR.THEY ENTERTAINED THE COMPLAINT AND ISSUED ME THE WORK ORDER NO 8059 OR …. DATED 17/03/08 AND THEY CONVEYED ME TO APPROCH AFTER 10 DAYS.AFTER THE SAME TIME WHEN I APPROCHED THEM, THEY TOLD ME THAT WE HAVE SENT THE MOBILE TO CHANDIGARH BECAUSE WE CAN MAKE IT CORRECT HERE IN SRINAGAR BUT YOU HAVE TO MAKE THE PAYMENT OF RS:-700/-
                                        I ASKED THEM IF IT IS IN WARRANTY PERIOD THEN WHY I HAVE TO MAKE THE PAYMENT.THEY SAID THAT THEY ARE GOING TO REPLACE THE FRONT PORTION OF THR MOBILE, THEN WAS FORCED TO SAY OK, BECAUSE IT IS SMSUNG SERVICE CENTRE.AFTER THEIR EXERCISE THE SAME PROBLEM WAS STILL THERE.

                                        THEN AGAIN THE PROVIDED THE NEW JOB ORDER NO 8034 DATED-08/04/08 AND ASSURED ME THAT WE ARE GOING TO DELIVER THE SAME WITHIN FIVE DAYS.ACCORDINGLY I RANG THEM ON 15/04/08 AND ASKED FOR THE SAME, THEY ASSURED ME TO COME ON 18/04/08, WHEN I VISTED TO THE SERVICE STATION THEY AGAIN CONVEYVED ME TO COME AFTER TWO DAYS.THEN I TOLD THEM IF IT WAS SO THEN WHY YOU PEOPLE TOLD ME TO COME ON 18/04/08 AND COLLECT THE SAME, SIMUNATNEOUSLY THEY MISBAHEVED WITH ME.
                                        I AM NOT UNDERSTANDING WHAT IS THIS.IS THIS A SAMSUNG SERVICE STATION OF A BOUCHER SHOP.

                                        NOW REQUESTING YOUR GOODSELF TO LOOK INTO THE MATTER AND CONVEY.
