[Resolved]  Samsung India Ltd — customer care center bad experience

when we contacting at toll free no, of companines very bad experience with those who are speaking in hindi. care peoples are very uncomfort with our national langauage and telling if you complaint in hindi phoned at new delhi on chargeble phone. toll free number is only for english speaking person. it means income from india and insultin national langauage.
after long practice we complained and so many time phoned on call center. they your area is very long from our service centre we passed your complaints not possible to atent very shortly.
it means if want to pruchase samsung product we want to stay at nearest placeof serice centre and knowing english langauage/
very shame the international brand cheating with indian citizens with wetenr business stlye.

Samsung company Refrigerators is very bad qualiti.. we just bought a new Refrigerators from samsung..
the Refrigerators is not working.. we has complain many time.. but there is no response...
This is first and last .. i will never buy any more any thing in sumsung stuff...
because its ceating customer..
I am from finland.. but i brought this Refrigerators From Goa, vasco da gama.. my mother is calling everyday to get fixed or refund the money back... we had brought many thing smsung AC, Cookingrange.

I have had the same experience with Samsung. My almost new Samsung LCD TV packed up more than two weeks ago. Someone came to have a look at it and I was told the mother board had to be changed. I've been ringing up 30308282 every day and the response is always the same, " someone will get in touch with you today " . It has still not happened. I will NEVER recommend Samsung to anyone. Disgusting service or should I say " NON SERVICE ".
World worst service provider. I never had seen this type of people. My best advice is do not buy any product from SAMSUNG.

Not providing after sales services & poor quality of employees.

I have purchased a fridge from Samung - double door, which stopped operations.

I have placed a complaint on 8th Apr. 6 Days back. No. [protected]. I have been calling almost every day for a technician to either come and look at it the fault and repair it.

There has been poor or no response at all. They promise to return calls or attend to it, but dont do it.

Companys aproach to customers required careful consideration before you buy their products.

Despite being aggressive and abusive - they seem to be trained to be careless.

Sub : Can some one update us on the status of our AC Refund Amount? How much is the Amount? When will we get it ? Whom should we contact?


My name is Pugazhendhi.P from Chennai and my customer id is [protected]. My contact number is [protected] / [protected].


I had a Samsung Split AC, and it had a fault of gas leakage in the indoor unit.we called the Samsung Customer Care on the phone number 30308282 in the month of Feb 2010. In response to this the technicians from Samsung Service Center "Alfa Refrigerations" came to our house checked the unit and took both the indoor and the outdoor unit saying they have to inspect both the units thoroughly before giving us any update on the issue. Workorder Number given by Alfa Refrigeration personal is [protected].


Then we mailed them Scanned Original Bill of the Samsung Split AC, to make sure our AC is covered under Warranty. Service person named Mr.Suresh from Alfa Refrigeration Acknowledged and confirmed the same, saying we are still covered under warranty. Then they told us that, Samsung India said they can't replace the defective part alone, instead they will replace the entire unit. And they have already raised the request to the Mumbai Head office and so on. This process will take nearly one month.


Then at the end of the month, when we called Mr.Suresh again and we came to know that Samsung India were not able to provide a replacement, hence our money will be refunded. But no one had a clue when would that happen.


In this entire process timeline, we have called Samsung Customer Care number 30308282. Everytime we called, we got the same answer "We don't have any updated details on your profile regarding AC, we will escalate the issue. You will get a call today in few hours regarding the same.". Not even once I got a call back. And they don't seem to have any data other than our call logs. What is this customer care all about, just a chit chat center ? Worst ever experience of my life.


In the entire process we came across various persons from whom we got answers and so on.

Then Mr.Yogaprakash. Not sure who he is, we just heard he is the replace incharge for Samsung India Chennai Division. And his mobile number is "[protected]". We spoke to him twice. Once he has asked us to SMS my name and address to Alfa Refrigeration. I sent them sms with my name. Also I had emailed them my name and address to which the check has to be sent. Second time, he told us that, he had emailed us some details (Which we haven't got yet) and don't call me again (Which we didn't expect), because every one is saying he is the incharge and only he will know when we will receive our money. He is saying so, then who will tell us our refund status ?


Finally useless Samsung Customer care Agents who have no data or what so ever.


Then Mr.Ravikumar[protected] who is not picking his calls.


I know this is email is huge, but i took time to type to atleast let you know, what are the steps we have done and still at the receiving end just wondering where is our money ?


Awaiting for a Responsible Answer on the Refund Status.

I have purchased the Split AC model no. AS185 UGANXTL on 11 Apr 2010. After Installation I found that the swing mechanism was not working. and also AC was giving bad odur. I lodge a complaint on 11 Apr 2010 evening on customer care. My ref no is [protected]. A engineer visited to my home on 13 Apr after repeated phone calls. He told me that its swing motor was not working and also deoderise mechanism was out of order. He told me that next day he will bring the parts and will repair it. But when he closed the AC unit, the unit was not even start. I then lodge a complaint for replacement of this AC unit by new one. Meantime I was told to use this AC with repairing. The engineer promised me to revisit on 14 Apr 2010 by 1200 hrs. But since 13 apr 2010 i am waiting for my AC to be repaired.
I have heard that Samsung is a reputed company and it gave very good service for their customer.But I am sorry to say sir that your first impression to me is very poor.
I have called to your customer care and service centres more than 30 times. I also had that record. I feel very bad and depressed by purchasing the Sumsung product. I will never purchase the sumsung product and never recommend it to anybody. You people give me a lot of mentally harrasment.
I Have also loadge a complaint in consumer forum for replacement of AC
Our washing machine top loading fully automatic model WA85HAG was not working and the complaint registered on 19/01/2010 and the Service engineer cannot able to repair the machine since its spare parts not available . Though the product is just 2 years old Samsung couldnot able to provide the spare parts for this model.

The Issue is pending for more than 3 months and Samsung is not responding to this issue.

I had lodged a complaint through Samsung Service Support with following transaction number : [protected] and complaint number : [protected], with following complaint regarding shoddy installation done on both the refrigerator and air conditioner of Samsung make that I had bought from the dealer called White Planet in Cochin, India . I bought both these products on[protected] and both were having defects as described below from Day 1 :




Leaking coolant pan in freeze cabinet


I bought 230 ltrs double door refrigerator and 1 ton split a/c from your authorised dealer in Cochin, WHITE PLANET, MG Road.
When the fridge was delivered new from the shop to my house on 03-04-10, the coolant pan was found leaking and shown to the installation team.Though they assured replacement on 05-04-10, till today, ie., 12-04-10, they have not supplied same.
About the split a/c, the indoor unit was not installed in correct location leading to gaping hole for refrigerant piping to connect to outdoor unit not covered with plastering
This matter was also taken up with the Branch Manager, Samsung Customer Service in Cochin but in vain.
I am terribly disappointed with this approach and will never buy any Samsung product henceforth and will not recommend to any of my friends or colleagues either!

If this is the kind of treatment Samsung or its dealer gives to existing customer of Samsung, I am very right in this stand!

Samsung — Horrible customer service.

I have purchased a front load washing machine and a AC from Samsung on the 20th April 2010.

Samsung claims themselves to be a “One Call” Service Center, I have made over 50 calls to the customer service people but still no respond from them. Samsung has given me a very horrible and poor service.

If I call up the customer service people they hang up my call. Repeated complaints to the service center [complain number is : [protected]] is not helping, every time I am assured someone will attend to it and nobody arrives till date.

This is happening from day 1 since I purchased the things. Pathetic service.

I bought samsung a/c (window) 1 ton and from the day 1 its not working so we called the service center and they visited after 1 week and they said there is problem with compressor and they need to change it so after one week again they came with new compressor and they changed but next day again it had problem so we called them the person who attended did not respond properly and after 6 days one person came and said there is gas leek and they need to refill the gas, but till date no one turned up and when ever we call them and say our name they dont attend or give vagoue reasons . is this the service they do ? is this what a company do within 25 days if their product is not working ? i need the company to replace the A/C.

Samsung is probably the worst service in india. The service quality is poor and also a fraud as service centres charge dfifferent rates for same parts.

They also dont turn up on the appointment. I had raised a complaint on 4th may for problem in my A.c. No people turned up and service centre was favoring one Service center (Vijay ganesh). they didnt turn up for 3- 4 days. i forced to complaint to change service center. The guy from vijay ganesh spoke in a rude tone and i blasted him as i was promised Service manager from Samsung will call but not from a franchise. Finally Shree meenakshi electronics from Tiruvallur attended. 2 condensers had a problem, one of them was 6MF and he replaced with 4MF. The rates also were 150 rupees more than actual price. Since the problem didnt resolve. i raised a followup complaint to rectify, none of them turned up. i called up after 15 days and after big fight a person came and fixed the problem.

there were no info on why the prices are overcharged. Nor why they closed the followup complaint. I requested a solution for changing the service center as this is not good. The call center superviser spoke in a rude tone and asked me to change my address. this is not the first time it happened atleast 4 times the messed up simple faults and made me wait for a week.

I purchased an LCD in Kolkata and after frequent calls my installation was done on 6th day. Pathetic to say the least. I will never ever buy a Samsung product in my life again. I am holding a very senior position in one of the MNC in KOlkata and I am going to discourage anybody & everybody whoever come across to me to not to go for Samsung products. Their service quality is severely poor.

I totally agree with him. My case too is same.Samsung service cetre 'ICARE' In DELHI also have the same attitude.
And when Icare has given a Technical report for REPLACEMENT OF ONE TON AC (Purchaced on 30/01/2010) dated 19th April/28thApril and 16th June but SAMSUNG'S REPLACEMENT DEPT. is taking NO action. My several complaints to C CARE and mails to Support india .com has no effect.
