Samsung Split Ac — Gas Leakage.. After spending 3500, still AC is not working

we purchased samsung ac 1.5 years back and we got cooling issue and ac was not working completely. We made complaint and service engineer has come and told the gas leakage issue and we need to take it to showroom and fill the gas. They have taken the ac to the showroom and after so many repeated calls they came back with ac and charged around 3500 for gas filling. We paid the amount without even checking whether ac was working as we didn't believe that much poor service. And shockingly, the ac was not at all working and it was in the same condition as before and they have again taken back the ac and repeated the story again. After so many repeated calls, they brought ac and ac is not working at all and in the same condition. My elderly parents and my younger kid are suffering a lot in this hot summer climate without ac. It is really frustrating and giving me lot of stress and affecting my health severely.

I am going to consumer court and i made everything ready and spoke with lawyer also.

So i am giving note here just to instruct others and such a worst and poor service from Samsung.

Samsung — Samsung Split AC

We purchased Samsung Split AC (Bio Sleep)about 2 months back and it was working fine until summer began!!!
There is NO cooling effect as the Compresser does not turn.!?? The customer care is just not upto the mark and can say it's pathetic. It took 5 working days for the technician to turn up at our house. And he simply checked and suggested that the Voltage is not sufficient for the AC's compressor to switch on.. so we've to upgrade our power supply. If this was case, they should have informed us at the time of initial installation. They did not do so.

But the Technician failed to explain why exactly similar units are properly working in the same locality!! So request you all not to purchase such products without checking the customer care... which is really PATHETIC..
Am still awaiting for resolving the problem with our AC.. Spending 3K on a local Air cooler would have been a better choice I suppose

Samsung — REGARDING GAS LEAKAGE OF AC

Respected sir,
I have purchased Samsung products of worth Rs 110500.00(One Lakh ten thousand five hundred rupees (three Air conditioner)from DEE KAY VISION Pvt. Ltd., Sector-8c, Chandigarh. I have purchased my Air conditioner on 19th March 2008 and the product worked well through out the two or three weeks only. After that I found that gas is leaked from the system.
Samsung Chairman’s Vision statement says “Samsung product will live to customers expectation and enjoy that”. I am sorry to say that this does not meet this vision statement. More than that it has become a liability and pain because to get the servicing people is also a big trouble for all consumer people like us.
Following are the details of my recent experience Request made for servicing by telephonic call which BP No is :- [protected]
Every time when I call the dealer number[protected], the cumstomer care executives says the service manger will call us .But there is no response on that side.
I request you to Look into the matter and resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

SAMSUNG SPLIT AC — repair is not done

i register a complaint to coustmer care of samsung at 30308282 on23-6-8 & my complaint no is [protected] but till date no work is done Has samsung sunk to such a low level that they do not even have proffecient engineers to do their services? Plz do something speedily as the heat is soaring and its of no use having an a/c if we cannot use it.

Absolutely true. I am facing a similar problem. No use calling at the service center. Didn't know that Samsung's after sale services are so bad that they dont solve the problem for so many days. I filed a complaint on Samsung service centre regarding the service of the Air conditioner on the 14/04/2009 and was promised that an engineer will visit on the same day before 8 P.M. But the engineer came on the 19/04/09. After checking the A.C. he said that there is a problem in the A.C. and some will come on the 20/04/09 to take the A.C. to the service centre and do the repairs. And the A.C was supposed to be returned on 21/04/09. No one is here yet for the repair. I would advice every1 not to buy a samsung A.C ever.

I am working as the lecturer at NIT, Trichy. I am extremely unhappy with the response of samsung'sservice center. I bought 1.5 ton samsung split ac from Mangal and Mangal, Trichy ..I used the ac just for 10 days.After that the AC is not working.I called called called called called called called called called called called called called called ...calling calling calling calling calling calling calling calling calling calling...(it is going on till date) to get the AC repaired. I strongly recommend not to buy samsung AC forever.
I bought the LG washing machine.Compared to samsung's service, LG's service (response) is much more better.

It was hardly used since it was winter.
Now it is not working with no cooling effect.
I lodged a complaint regarding this to samsung service centre on 5th mar 2010.
since then there is no response from the company, as it has to be repaired by them as it falls in warranty period.
now fed up with their irresponsiveness I am contacting you.
Kindly look into the matter and do the needfull.

SAMSUNG SPLIT AC — lack of support from your customer care or the dealer

AC not working .no support from customer care even after repeated remiders and the same with the dealer (Samsung Plaza Edappally Ernakulam). Ac started giving problem with in one month after purchase. the complaint was lodged with cutomer care on 24 feb 2010.till date no action is taken.I purcahed your product expecting a better after sales service.but my real experience is bitter.

SAMSUNG SPLIT AC — Poor service in fixing my AC

I had a recent poor experience of Samsung in servicing my AC. The compressor conked off after 1 year of purchase. It took Samsung 3 weeks to fix my AC. This took numerous calls to their call center and numerous follow up calls with their head of Pune service. There were visits by 5 to 6 technicians before they fixed the AC. They apparently outsource the service to Modern enterprises in Pune. The owner of Modern enterprises is a fellow to keeps making false promises about attending to the complaint and sending the technician "today", but never keeps his promises. He would not answer my phone calls. I had to resort to sending SMS messages to him to ensure quick action. The secret that I heard from their technicians is that Samsung has shortage of parts for the ACs and hence the delay in servicing all customers. I will never buy anything from Samsung again.

SAMSUNG SPLIT AC — UNATTENDED

I HAD PURCHASED SAMSUNG AC IN APRIL 2010. THE ISTLAATION TEAM APPOINTED BY SAMSUNG HAD DOME VERY BAD QUALITY INSTALLATION. for almost more than a month i"ve been complaining for my a/c,but till date my complaint has not been resolved.only once the mechanic had visited told us about leackeage in the gas pipe and the light problem,but not visited again,many times i called the call center of kings but all in vain.
For the last whole month we have been suffering from the mumbai heat due to the a/c problem,
i request you to please solve my problem by replacing my faulty a/c as it is still under warranty period and as i"ve been complaining for the last 2mths.

SAMSUNG SPLIT AC — not working after installation

I bought samsung split ac on 3rd june 2011. the retailer told me that the technician will visit your house tomarrow and he will install it.Technician did not came for a week. Then,The retailer called another technician and he installed it but unfortunate there was no power to check the working condition and he told me that when powe will come just plug it and start, it will work.He charged Rs. 2000 for two AC and run away .After many calls he never turn back.I complained to customer care service, they told me that service personnel will visit your house within 7 days .But so for no body has visited since 15 days. I am too much frusted after buying such item of samsung. and samsung technical services are zero.I will never buy samsung items again and I will ask my friends also not to buy samsung any item.
