[Resolved]  HDFC Bank — Money transfer HDFC Credit Card to HDFC savings account

Hello All,

I have been following up with HDFC Bank for several days now, for the transfer of my credit amount from my credit card to my savings account. Both are linked and can be easily done in a day, but this has not been done till date. Not sure how the organization works. It is extremely in efficient in its customer complaints. I had purchased multiple first class railway tickets to the amount of Rs 40,000 for travel in India for my upcoming vacation. I have also paid the HDFC credit card in full for all these purchases. Some how my vacation plan changed, so I had to cancel my tickets and IRCTC refunded the amount also back to the same HDFC Credit Card. But my credit card expired and the amount refunded remains in my HDFC credit account, but cannot be used due to card expiry. I also do not want a new credit card. I made several requests to transfer this credit amount ( Rs. 38,000 as some was deducted by IRCTC due to cancellation ) from my credit card to savings account and I am still trying this and it has been after six weeks now with NO RESULTS. They keep creating multiple service request for the same issue whenever I call customer service and nothing moves.

In today's date money transfer accross diffrent banks take place in a day or two. This is case of same HDFC bank, having linked credit card and savings account and for the same person and has not happened till date. I have tried Grievance redressal and it has still not been done.

I feel it is extremely inefficient organization towards customer service. Is there any E-mail or contact phone number id to escalate the case to a higher level as I am tired of waking up in the night ( as I am in USA now ) to call up the HDFC custmer service and in spite of that things are not moving.

Detais of Service request number etc. would be provided if E-mailed to me separately. Any help on contact number or E-mail ID for HDFC escalation would be helpful.

Credit Card — cash transfer

I am kunal.i have made cash tranfer(Ts 565 /-) to my hsbc account from my other sbi credit cart months back in nov 07,till date they have not updated my cash tranfer..i m still paying the credit card bill on both the bank..
plz give me som solution...i have already given letters to bank manger hsbc credit card division.

HDFC/ HDFC Credit Card — In Spite of prerequisite they debited amount from my Card.

I have a credit card of HDFC bank, I purchased a health policy through my HDFC credit card. At the time of purchaising of that health policy my card was block, which I didn't know. HDFC executive called me four or five times just to remined me that sir your card has been blocked plz make a payment. I gave them assurance than I'll make payment, and also made a request them that plz don't charged or add the premimum amount from my card which I purchased from it. I told them that I don't want to purchased it and want to stop it. The executive all the time give me assurance that ok sir I'll forward your request to not continue your policy.

And inspite of this they debited that amount from my card, and I got a SMS from HDFC bank that the premium amount of your health policy has been debited from your HDFC bank credit card.

plz tell me inspite of pre request about stop payment and discontinue they debited the amount and continue it.

plz suggest me what should I do.

saving account — Credit to Credit card account

I have deposited cheque No. 129420 for Rs. 11475 to pay my credit card bill amount for card No. [protected] on 25.11.2010.

Since link was down at Jawhae Marg (Rajmihala) Brance - Indore, officer in-charge refused to collect the cheque & advised me to drop the chaque in drop box. He assured me that it will be credited on 26.11.2010 positively as it is the last date of payment.

Today I have not received any communication for same though SMS. I have cross chacked through your customer care officer who advised me to visit branch which is not possible for me today as i am not in town.

I dont want to pay any panulty due to late payment as I have already deposited the cheque well in time from HDFC Bank account itself.

are cheque from drop box are not getting posted very next day on priority?
