Sir, I had visited the sbi ATM at pithumpur dist. dhar on 27.07.09. i selected banking fast cash option for withdrawing 6000/- Rs but the machine declined saying that unable to response. thereafter i come back my home.after two day i was chake my a/c but
Rs. 6000/ has been deducted from my account. my mini statement shows the withdrawl of rs 6000/- but i hadn't withdrawn rs 6000/- which is wrong

SBI PO exam — NO cash receipt

i have applied for SBI -PO exam.and i have also got the permission letter but i don't have the actual payment receipt. actually i had lost it and it's mention in the form that it's necessary to take it in the examination hall.
so can you help me in this.

IT — Negligence in duties of employees in SBI Bank

It is observed during my visit to your SBI Bank Branch, Industrial Estate, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.
In most of the Banks branch at Visakhapatnam the Bank employees are playing fun with the innocent customers.
In most of cases they are not polite.
My Disputes are:
1. For issuing just a draft only it is taking complete half day why?
2. ‘Time is valuable for everyone’ but only why it is for the bank staff, it showing that their time is much valuable than customers?
3. You should look after the customer first or customer should look after you first?
4. Are all the customers servant to you or you are the servant of customer basically?
Before putting the dispute to International Consumer Court & all the news paper of India, I expect that all matters will be resolve in house by your Department at your end please.

i am a staff of SBI varanasi, , i had apply for lone before last 6 months but till now i did not got that ... if it is the condition of a staff then what about the customer ????
the loaning department of SBI is very bad because of his staff which are the part of the loaning department...if the same condition will remain then no customer will go to SBI...

mba — Not issue of Education loan

I want education loan of 4lacs for my studies in IMD New Delhi, my sister has already taken a loan of Rs4lacs before 1yr (appx). Now the branch manager says that he cant issue another loan. Dear Sir

This is with regards to Education loan of 4.0 lacs applied for my daughter -Pooja Tandon in SBI, Gadepan, Kota (Raj.) for graduation course in Biotechnology from Jaypee University of Information Technology, Waknaghat (H.P). The loan application along with all relevant details have been submitted in CFCL, Branch at Gadepan and has been cleared 10 days back by the local Branch Manager.However the application is stuck up at Kota office of SBI . The urgency explained to Mr. Sodani of SBI, Kota and all proof with regards to approval of this university by U.G.C and institute approved from Govt. of Himachal has been submitted but there is no reply from the bank till now.
IIn addition to above the approach of SBI and in particular the clearing manager at kota is very negative and inspite of furnishing all documents with regards to institute and university's recognition by state government and university grants commission, he is neither giving feedback and not clearing loan.
Urgent action is required.

i'm sridharan studying chemical engineering 3 rd year in erode sengunthar engineering college... i went to apply the education loan in sbi bank in the branch of sangarapuram. branch code is 11072... the manager was rejected to proceed my loan due the unnecessary reasons...i got the 98.9 percentage in my last semester result but they would be reject or they didnt accept to proceed the loan for me...the manager just said, dont come here for apply the loan...pl sir... i believe that being your urgent action they would proceed the loan for me...

I went to officer of branch JHAJHAR, he said to me that I should submit certificate proving that
the nearest branch from my stay is JHAJHAR.But doing so is illegal, because nearest
branch is JEWAR.

I just want to let you know that SBI bank has caused many inconvenience to all of our family members and troubled us a lot.

A merit student, who scored 82% in 10th and 75% in +2. Its been 2 years we have been running after the bank and the bank staff of Paralakhemundi & Gurandi, Odisha have been asking us to visit the bank again and again.

From the past 2 years we are suffering for the educational loan sanction but they made us to RUN like hell and now they are saying the loan cannot be approved.

Just try to understand a Merit student is very desperate to do B. Tech and with the hope of SBI bank we joined her in B.Tech college and after 2 years, YOUR bank people says that the loan cannot be given.
Just imagine how painful for this student and to our family to visit your bank frequently. Initially, before 2 years they gave the hope and caused troubled to us for TWO years, how pathetic and Brute your banking is.

From the past 2 years, it was problematic and they misbehave with the student and the parents. IS THIS THE WAY YOU TREAT with those who come for loan??????

This is so shameful that being a good brand bank, doing such misbehavior.

According to the percentage, she completely DESERVES THE EDUCATIONAL LOAN, but SBI could not approve it.
How discouraging, helpless and negligible SBI is!!!

This situation says that SBI does no adhere the law of Govt which is provided to the merit students.

BANKS ARE THERE TO HELP THE POOR STUDENTS TO BE EDUCATED MORE, Especially to those who are merit.
Its so shameful for you guys don't provide educational loan.

I complained to the branch manager and many people regarding this but NO ONE is looking after this complaint. I also filed many complaint online but there is no human being who can read and follow up upon it. There is a Lousy system which is 5 days slow. I called few head department but they are also negligent to take complaint and fix the issue.

I believe you guys are the higher authority and you can do things possible and take action on those who doesn't do their job.

It is very surprising to know that even after several reminders and emails SBI officials has still not reverted back to me with the solution on the complaint which i had made in Feb 08.

Moreover I am still receiving 2-3 calls daily from SBI collection department for the outstanding amount since i have stopped the payment after giving sufficient time and warnings to resolve my complaint. Everyday i have to repeat the whole complaint to each and every caller and the response i get is
1. "OK WE WILL TALK TO OUR MANAGER AND GET BACK TO YOU".
2. "CALL TO CUSTOMER CARE AND INFORM THEM ABOUT THE PROBLEM"...

This has become mental harassment for me now and i cannot take it anymore. Hence finally i am mailing this to consumer forum and media.

WHAT I EXPECT FROM SBI :
1. Give me gift voucher worth Rs. 2000/- as per the RAILWAY RUMBLE OFFER.
2. Waive off late fee charges laid on me for not paying outstanding amount as i have stopped the payment because the complaint is not attended and not resolved.
3. Compensation for the mental harassment that i am facing from SBI.
4. Phone charges for the nos of calls i made to SBI to register the complaint, follow up etc...

Apart from the above mentioned problem i have few more service related issues with SBI, which

professionaly i think its disgusting and pathetic for the Bank like SBI. Those are as follows:
1. No call back even after repeated reminders.
2. None of the managers/senior person ever come on phone to attend the problem/customer.
3. I got info from your customer care saying they had called but my cell was not reachable.
THis is ABSOULTELY FALSE STATEMENT WHICH SBI MAKES. I have justification for this:
a) Nothing updated in the complaint about the possible resoultion date for the complaint made.
b) My cell is always reachable.
c) Even if my cell is not reachable, no call was made at my landline nos.
d) No email, on me not available on my cell.
e) Since last 10-15 days i am getting continous calls from your collection department, may i know how is my cell reachable now?

I have seen sevearal persons are complaining against your services. My complaint is not against your
but the repeatedly receiving the phone from your Delhi office ( [protected]) with false promises, &
asking me to pay the amt for the reason unknown to me . I am paying all the dues well in time

I am using SBI card since 3 years. I payed all due amount in last February, 2008 and I am not using this card, not even checking the monthly statement. When I opened the statement in July month the amount due was showing 1052/-. They showed 370/- late payment fee on insurance amount for last two months. When called customer care they said they are helpless and I have to pay the amount. While I am applying for card I didn't knowingly signed any document for an insurance. Should I have to pay late fee on Insurance amount? Anybody please suggest me.

I am in same situation. We live out of India for the last 40 years. My father had his pension in Syndicate Bank. After his death at 96 years.

I went to India to collect the money with his death certificate attested by Lawyers, Govt. Services, Indian Consulate. Got his WILL attested same way in which I am the Executor of the WILL. Got Nomination papers from my siblings in my name, All Bank books, His passport, my passport with his name in, All documents what they asked for. They saw every document and approved to send the money to our account.

All this was no avail. Once I left India after two months of running around Bank send me a letter to my address in Canada that Bank want his WILL Probated, Need form 99 attested by Two respectable customers known to branch and to my father.
Need two guarantors who are respectable account holders and known to bank and us.
How do I know any one who is the branch customer when I am living out of India for the last 40 years.
This is ridiculous of the Bank and the banking system in India. No one is there to help us.

I was used SBI Credit card in 2006, in which my outstanding amont is around 15000, I apologise for not make payments at that point of time leads to result in my name is become Black listed and all Banks stops there services to me. My date of birth is 10.11.1980

I have an SBI credit card since 2006, I subscribed for E-statement in dec-07 since then I am neither receiving bills through email nor through post/courier. I raised complaint with SBI and differed payment, but I was given a reason that I should make payments based on charge slip. I made an interim payment in march-08, but till date i have not received any bills from SBI.

Isn’t this cheating from the bank? I have mailed several times to cards head, but still no result they have a standard system reply.

They don’t have any focus towards customers, very bad and pathetic service. Now advise me how to claim reimbursement for late payment and interest.

Sir, every year in the month of Nov., or Dec., SBI Credit Card had levied annual fee charges and after complaint they have reverse the same.
