SBI / Credit Card — Wrong Report to CIBIL & Harrasment
I held an SBI credit card No-[protected] and was using it. I paid off all dues on 03/07/2007, I closed my account with credit balance of Rs -4. that means i paid Rs 4 Extra. The card was closed on 02/09/2007 with full payment.Now after applying for another credit card in jan 2011, I was declined the card stating that I had not paid up the card and "WRITTEN OFF" status is reflecting in my CIBIL report for the said card number.
I contacted SBI helpline numbers a number of times thereafter and each time they assured me that the things would be done and also confirmed that I had fully paid the amount. However, the CIBIL records were still reflecting the same. Thereafter, I asked them for an NOC on the said card stating that it is fully paid and closed account. However, after every Assurance , that they will send me within 1 days, I did not get the NOC till date.
My Last request number with their Customer executive was[protected],dated 25/04/2011 Name Samuel stating that by 26/04/2011 morning the same would be sent. But in Vain
I am tired of false promises made by the customer executives and they are not at fault it seems. SBI doesnt have a proper Complaint Redressal system. Plz arrange to provide me an NOC. In future i would think million times before getting an SBI Card
