I got a call at 4.40PM on 10th March 2011 for domestic holiday package from Shop Today.I immediately said i am not interested,then the executive of shop today said that they are sister concern of Home Shop 18 and today is the 6th anniversary of the company.Hence shop today has selected 31 lucky persons from all over india and i am one of them.He said if you will transfer 8000Rs by 6PM to their ICICI Account then i will get a 10.1"Mini HP Laptop on my doorstep on the 4th day.If i will transfer or deposit the same money tomorrow then i will get a philips home theatre.I have asked certain questions and got conviced that Shop Today seems to be a very genuine company and i transferred 8000Rs thru cheque at 5.30PM in the nearest ICICI Bank,i immediately got sms that 8000Rs is debited from my account.I informed Mr Vishal Bhardwaj,Process Manager who has offered me this package that money i have deposited in their account.He assured me that i will get the Mini HP Laptop in 4 days time on my door step.On 11th Mar2011 i got email that they have received Rs3999/-,i immediately informed them that i have transferred Rs8000/- then why they are confirming that they have received Rs3999/- only.Then their executive again sent me a new mail saying that they have received Rs7999/- and my membership ID
is 20000211,now for the laptop which was supposed to come in 4 days time,it never came,after lot of daily followups and mail i got philips hometheatre containing 5 nos speakers on 4th april 2011 with
another membership id 20000183,i informed them about this then they said it is mistake of their despatch dept and they will correct this.But from 4th April2011 to till date on 28.4.11,they never reverted,they never replied to any of my mails.On 22.4.11 at 4.30Pm,their excecutive Mr Rahul Sharma abused me on phone and sent me vulgar obscene sms thru way to sms.com.Mr Vishal Bhardwaj who had sold me this package never ever came on phone.From 10.3.11 to 28.4.11 i talked to following executives of shop today who always given me false assurances.Their Names are Vishal Bhardwaj,Maheshwari Singh Rajput,Rahul Singh,Rahul Sharma,Mahesh,Yogesh Chauhan,Mehul,Richa,Prateek Desai,Amit,Tajendra,Narmada Maheshwari.I had asked these executives about the owner of the shop today,three different executives had given three differenet Owner names as Manoj Pant,Ravikant Mishra and Durgesh Dwivedi.
I have informed about this incident to all my relatives who are living in Delhi and NCR and they are working on the project of SHOP TODAY.

I have been getting calls from a guy named Amit from Shop today that I go for the package of Rs 7999/-. He sent me email attaching pdfs. I asked him which holiday packages are available. He then asked me where I'm interested. I said Swiss. So he just told me that I'll get accomodation free of cost, only travel and fuel, food sharges extra. I asked him the itinerary of the 8D/7N package. He said i'll get it immediately after paying the amount, including DVD player. He was so much in a hurry to recieve payment from me that he even asked me whether he can connect to ICICI bank for payment. I thrashed him, "Arey payment toh karoonga hi, pahale mujhe poora itinerary bathao ki kahan hame ghumaaoge, kahan stay karvaaoge, kahan aur kya khaana khilaoge, visa charges, airport taxes etc, yeh sab details de do, baadh mein decide karoonga". For this, he replied, "Sir, aapko itinerary aur poora details turanth mil jaaega, payment ke baadh". I got irritated and again explained him that he first give me complete itinerary as to what all are included in package and what are not. He then transfered call to his executive and that guy started explaining me from the beginning. I interrupted him and told that Amit gave em all these details. What I need is the itineray. Even this guy didn't talk upto my satisfaction. Then I started doubting and I didn't pick up their calls. They called from this number: [protected].
Now after seeing this blog, i confirmed to myself that this is fraud. Thanks to you all!!

i was called on 6th may 2011 at 2:30 pm by Abhishek to give me offer about the holiday package of Rs 3999in which they in include stay of 3day and 2night at any place in India during a year and with this they offer me a free gift of Reebok sunglasses, i buy this offer and after they show me another offer but i rejected that offer after that they cut the call, after that i tried many times on their phone number but they not received any call and mobile number was switched off.
shop today is a fraud online company which cheat the people on the name of promotional offers and lucky winners,

Shop Today — Fraud for online holiday booking
I have bought a holiday package from "Shop today" (www.shoptoday.co.in) for domestic travel.Package: Domestic
Price: Rs. 3999/-
Validity: 1 Year
Now, i want to utilize this package and so i am calling the customer care of "Shop today" to book the destinations.
But neither they receive call, nor they are replying the e-mail.
Need help of Consumer court to file case against same.
Even i have been cheated by this fraudulent organisation. their non of of number is reachable.

Later on when I got to know that information provided is not correct I cancelled my booking and asked for the refund. Since then I am hearing that my refund has been approved and you will get the same in next 2 days or 5 days . But till now I have not received my money.
