[Resolved]  Sify — complaint against Sify Internet service

I would like to report about the bad service of Sify.

I reported this to the local connection provider 8 times and approximately 8 to 9 times to the Sify Customer care.

Because of this I have not been provided any services for around 20 days out of last 30 days.
The most common problem which I faced due to which i was not able to access the
the internet was "Unable to connect to Gateway" regarding this problem the customer care executive told
me that the problem would be resolved within the next 24 hours. The problem used to be resolved on the third day after giving the complaint and again on the next day the same problem use to occure.
At last i came to know from the local connection provider that there was some fiber cable problem and the problem will be resolved within 3 days.
I want to ask if Sify people already know the problem why a proper action was not taken
against this problem.
I want to know who is responsible for the wastage of my time when I was not
able to use the Sify internet inspite of paying the bill.
If I am forced to go to the cyber cafe for my work then why I am
supposed to bear the cost of Sify connection at my home.

I had asked for compensation and received the same only for 5 days

I want proper action explaination and correct compensation from Sify.

I want to report about the bad service of Sify.
I am connect through Sify since 9th of April 2009, and since then I have
faced trouble 8 time with Sify connections.
4 times I reported to the local connection provider and 4 times I have
reported to Sify Customer care itself.
Because of this I have not been provided any services for around 15 days out of last 45 days.
The most common problem which I faced due to which i was not able to access the
the internet was "Unable to connect to Gateway" reruarding this problem the customer care excutive told
me this due to loose wire from the server side.
I want to ask if Sify people already know the problem why a proper action was not taken
against this problem.
I want to know who is responsible for the wastage of my time when I was not
able to use the Sify internet inspite of paying the bill.
If I am forced to go to the cyber cafe for my work then why I am
supposed to bear the cost of Sify connection at my home.

I want proper action explaination and compensation from Sify.

fast 1 month sify standard view is not opeing

so i have lot of trouble in this

I am totally Satisfied with the services of Sify in Dwarka Sector 7. I have given all complete filled forms to executive and bank draft for rs. 1500. but till now the connection is not Installed. I have talk to senior officials also. But no action taken by the company. At the time of filling form, I hve talked to territory manager Mrs. Anisha but after 2 days I have heard that New manager is there Deepu singh, I have talked to him aslo on [protected] phone number. but he was saying that ur connection will be installed in 2-3 days. but after 30 days it is not installed. and now again Mrs. Anisha is our area representative I hve talked to her on [protected] also but no action... Pls help in this case or refund my money. 9 months are gone but no action taken by the company...Sify is the Worst ISP in India.. Tata and MTNL is the Best
Sify is proud part of Satyam and is carrying on the legacy very well. I would request you all to keep away from Sify Patna, atleast.
I AM GOING TO REGISTER A COMPLAINT AGAINST THE SIFY COMPANY FOR VOIP CONNECTION I HAD TAKEN THE SIFY VOIP COONECTION FROM THE LAST 5 YEARS i have paid Rs. 40, 000/- advance as a secutiry but from the last 2 months my voip connection is not working i am not able to make any ISD call i have tried a lot of complaint to the senior officer in SIFY BUT No one is taking it seious neither they are recitfy my problem nor returning my security
i requst u to please consider my case and help to return my security money i want to surrender it because company is not handling my problem siscenrely
They have passed the time to check out the machine even ur staff knows that it will not be configure on mtnl than why they are wasting their time.

IF SIFY COULD NOT RECTIFY IT THAN I WANT TO SURREND IT AND RETURN MY SECURITY OF RS. 40, 000/-


Kindly take the personal visit and check it properly and not try to resolve it plase rectify it because the sify custoemrs are breaking through non working of sift voip connection.

Worst Customer Care i must say, no response to customers, no solution for errors at last decided to disconnect the services.
Called minimum 20 times in a day kept waiting for the whole day

Person kept on telling that will come in 15 mins 20 mins but no luck
