[Resolved]  Sony Ericsson / Mobile K850i — handset problem

Respected sir

I had purchased a Sony Ericsson K850i in 17th january 2009. five month post my purchase, i started facing problems with some of the functions and eventually the handset was dead. I went to the Authorized Sony Ericsson Service Center at chennai and they said there is a software problem.

The software was re installed {don't know what they doing inside the service centre} as said by the Sony Ericsson Customer Care and after some days, i again started facing problems with the handset, the keypads worked vaguely, Camera not starting automatically after the shutter opening and not able to hear the sound with headphones on ... memory stick not detected ... just to name a few problems !!!

I then went back to another Authorized Service Center at chennai {salai Enterprise, Shop No. 213 & 214, first floor,(near Krishna cutpiece)Purasawalkam high road,purasawalkam chennai 7 Phone No.[protected], . The genteman out there Mr. Arvind was very good to respond ... but made his point clear that the phone had liquid damage {Good communication skills i would say and NO intention of helping the Customer} and let the company decide on what to do ... the phone INSPITE of being under Warranty . {Fooling People ... so that they don't have to work on it}. Mr. Arvind had then said about he would help in direct communication between myself and the technicians, since the service center did NOT have technicians working !!! SURPRISING, he also said he would himself be informing me as soon as the next thing comes in from the company{which again he never did ... and which i knew}.

Am the customer of sony ericsson past 5 month.... what is my problem na...... first time my mobile gets problem ... totally hand set dead.... i went service centre... they told ... its software problem nu..... after tht my mobile working properly... then again 15 days same problem i faced... again they told same reason sir.... every 15 days once am going service centre for this problem ..... in my 8 th time problem s display fault.... he changed my display... then 9 th time camera problem ... camera is not working .......i mine today....i dont want this kind of problem and all.... so kindly replace my hand set sir......


Anyway they are telling there is no other to go. We are doing only upgrade and re-install software.. and will cost me nearly same as the new phone ... how Intelligent Solution from SONY ERICSSON ...

I liked the way they have proved to be good business people with no ETHICS and values under it..

BAD COMPANY ... rather CHEAP Company ... Never Buy a Sony Ericsson Product..

Sony Ericsson Mobile — Mobile became dead in five months

I had bought Sony Ericsson mobile phone P1i in March' 08 for Rs. 19200/-. About a month back the phone got wet in rain and since then it has become dead. I gave the same to sony's authorised service centre and after 15 days the service centre returned the phone with reason that the phone is "dead" and not repairable.

I, thereafter, lodged complaint with Sony by e-mail, however, there is no response from Sony in this regard to my several mails.

Such an expensive mobile phone has become irrepairable and Sony is not taking any congnisance to my complaints.

Sony Ericsson/ K810i Mobile Phone — Authorised Service Centre is Fooling Customers

My Six month Old Sony Ericsson Phone(K810i) Cost nerly 13K gone bad. when I went there in a sony ericsson service centre Service Point, Jayanagar 4th Block, Bangalore to get it repaired. They Returned it after 15 Days and Told it is non Repairable. After I went in onther service centre and they are telling it is not having its original parts. it means 1st service centre changed the Parts of phone. it is in service period
I fully agree with you as i am also the other custumer of Sony mobiles with faulty phonesand spening Rs 20000 after i phone my mobile in last 5 months have been with me only for 3 months and 2 months with the service center
I have purchased T700 mobile in March'09, Now Within 2 months only, Ringtone is not working,
Service is very bad, I should sujjest u, Dont purchased Sony Ericsson sets,
Nokia is good.

Sony Ericsson — same problem existing four times under warranty

i purchased my sony ericsson model no w350i at dated 21/06/08 from dreamz communications sri ram toer lucknow.imei no [protected] .just before five days i gone for fourth service for same problem and within 15 days same problem existing .sir i want handset to be changed by company.

I had purchased a Sony Ericsson K810i in October 2008. Two Weeks post my purchase, i started facing problems with some of the functions and eventually the handset was dead. I went to the Authorized Sony Ericsson Service Center at Andheri and they said there is a motherboard problem.

The Motherboard was replaced {don't know with OLD/NEW one} as said by the Sony Ericsson Customer Care and after some months, i again started facing problems with the handset, the keypads worked vaguely, Camera not starting automatically after the shutter opening and not able to hear the sound with headphones on ... memory stick not detected ... just to name a few problems !!!

I then went back to another Authorized Service Center at Goregaon {Dynatronics Enterprise, Shop No. 3, Anamika Apt. Plot No. 29/C, Off S.V. Road, Jawahar Nagar, Near Sudama Restaurant, Goregaon(W), Mumbai -- 400062. Ph:[protected], Work Order# SE309DY110502}. The genteman out there Mr. Anil was very good to respond ... but made his point clear that the phone had liquid damage {Good communication skills i would say and NO intention of helping the Customer} and let the company decide on what to do ... the phone INSPITE of being under Warranty went for Repairs under NO WARRANTY Status since they said it had liquid damage. {Fooling People ... so that they don't have to work on it}. My mobile phone are suddenly not detected for memory card.please tell permanant solution
madarchod hai sony wala sala hum to sony pe viswas kar ke fans gaye yaar.ab se nokia ke alave koi mobile nahi lenge.bhonsri ke sala pahli rat ke dulhan ki tarah najuk hai chutiya.

I had purchase a sony ericsson mobile phone, model w205 wuth 1.3 mp camera(as i was told by the dealer during the time of purchase). But after a month oe so i got that my mobile phone was not supporting 1.3mp pictures. Then i contact authorised sony ericsson center at janakpuri, district center and told him the problem of my mobile set. He told me to submit the mobile set foe the proper service. I submit that set to the above service center and got returned after the service. While returning to me my mobile set the service center engineer told me that my mobile is not supporting 1.3mp pictures. So i have changed its motherboard. Moreover they have made so many scratches on my mobile phone body which didn't look nice. While knowing initially that my mobile set is not supporting 1.3mp pictures, why they changed the motherboard.

After that i contact another sony ericsson authorised service center at faridabad and told him the fact, who did not accept my mobile set and told me this will not support 1.3 mp picture. Now neither 1.3mp pictures accepted by my mobile phone nor volume of audio is increased which is not to be listened.

Therefore it is requested that either the same set may please be replaced otherwise i shall move this matter to the consumer court.

I hope you will resolved my matter and considered it personally as soon as possible.
