I got a Mobile at Univercell Chennai, Velachery. I got this mobile on Saturday 28th june aroud 5:00 pm in the evening. After reaching the home, I realized that the mobile which I got is a defective one (the problem is the sound/tone is not emerging out), the next day I came to Univercell and said see the tone is not coming. They did something and the sound was ok there and I came back to home with the mobile and the reason they gave me is there is some problem with the settings and that is changed. Because before taking the mobile to univercell I checked all the options in the mobile and I never found any changes in settings, but anyway I came back.After three days we found again the sound is not coming, as I could not go to the univercell on week days again I visited the univercell on sunday 6th July, and said this is not the problem with the settings, this is the problem with the mobile and one which you gave me is a defective piece, kindly change me the mobile. But, those guys say that once sold is sold we can't change the mobile, you better go to the service center as you have the warranty period. After a long conversation they accepted to do the service from there side and gave me a standalone mobile.
Even though I am not convinced, because I got a new mobile and found it is a defective one and went back to them on the next day and they cheated me in some way and again when I found the same problem again they say they will not replace the mobile, it looks they are cheating the people and selling some defective mobiles and not answering properly to that.
Kindly get into the issue and get me a favorable reply, again I like to stress that why should I go for a service for a new mobile which I got, If that is defective ultimately they have to replace the mobile. But they failed to do that...
