This mail is on behalf of my friend who has given her laptop, when i was present, to Sony Servicing Centre----Address--"Sony Authorised Service Centre,63,1st Main Road, Gandhinagar,Adyar,Chennai,Tamil Nadu 600020". When we had taken it there then the sony service man said that he is goin to test the system and also asked for the charger/adapter along with the Sony Vaio Laptop. After he checcked the laptop he came back only with the laptop(without the charger/adapter)(1st negligence) and said that there was some short circuit in the motherboard which has to be replaced. The job sheet attached was filled in by the merchant were it was their duty to fill in the goods we gave them(2nd negligence) after which my friend had signed on the job sheet. We had an idea that the charger/adapter goes along with the Laptop which is why the service man did not mention about it and also did not bring it back after he had taken it in for the test.There was no assistance from the Service centre(3rd negligence).After sending a mail to their Customer care i get a reply saying the same thing that it was not mentioned in the job sheet and the service centre is denying about the fact without thorough interrogation(Final Negligence).They have tricked me and my friend and were lyin about the fact that they have taken the adapter. I am absolutely sure that we had handed over the charger/adapter which we want to claim it back. Please Help!!! IHave also Attached the purchase invoice, Job sheet and the warranty card.

My complaint no. is 8206941. Please take some action as soon as possible since I am not being able to operate the Laptop. I need justice.
Is there any hope... The Manager said he wil revert beck in 24hrs and its already 36hrs.
Consumer protection laws designed to ensure fair trade competition and the free flow of truthful information in the marketplace.
These Sony people are not co-operative at all. All they are saying is that the adapter is not there in the service centre this means they have either misplaced it or sold it or have kept it for their own benefit. I need justice. !!!

    LCD tv is not functioning with effect from 15/09/2011.Complaint lodged with customer care centre with complaint no. 8152894 dated on 16/09/2011,but nobody attend till today i.e 28/09/2011 inspite of several reminders lodged with customer care centres as well as Star Electronics service centre,Naraina at tel [protected] & [protected] only said they will come tommorrow again and again. Is this SONY WORLD no.1 with this kind of poor after sale service. I had bought this LCD from MANOJ AUDIO VIDEO{2009-10], Daryaganj NEW DELHI-110002 vide INVOICE no. C:41 dated 15/04/2009.This LCD tv now become idle useless.

      Dear Team Members I am very sad with Sony Teams.
      I have made a complaint regarding Sony Ericsson model J20 i Hazzel in Your Gurgaon TELE GIZMOS in April month that time they told me they don't have any rights to attaind sony ericsson mobile.
      then i went to UNIVERSAL TELECOM & TRADERS.
      They have got my mobile for channai sending but after 20 days later i got same as it is without any correction .then they replaied they will send it soonly.
      i have went there many times,now they are saying they dont have right to attaind sony erricsson complaint .
      in this month(September)my valdity has finished no body is attending me i have all correspondense regarding the communication or complaint.So do on urgent basis.
      If my complaint will not respond shortly i will talk to high level.

        I have received 2 calls from the company's customer care after my complaint with the Consumer Complaints stating again and again stating that the white spots are due to physical damage and they can not rectify it under warranty and if I want to get it settle, then I have to make the payment of Rs 1250 or I can collect the cell phone as it is right now. This is because they have not seen the cell phone and also not consulted from the service center about the status of the spots.
        Please help me out as I have borrowed someone's cell and I need to return it as soon as possible. And I can not purchase a new one for the sake of company's lack of commitment.

        Sony Ericsson — NOT MEETING THE WARRANTY, EXTREMELY RUDE BEHAVIOR BY SERVICE CENTRE STAFF

        I have submitted cell phone with the service center for repair under warranty on 20th Sept.2011, with the problem of display problem, ear speaker problem, display dead and also mentioned to rectify the screen which has developed white spots from inside the screen, and nothing from outside. On talking to company's customer care, have learned that warranty does not include the physical damage of the instrument. But those are not agreeing to the point that the screen has developed the spots from inside and calling it physical damage. I can not open the cell and develop the spots. The service center is asking for Rs 1250 s charges to replace the faulty screen, and above that, the service center staff is behaving in extremely rude manner.
        The cell had been deposited earlier also for dead display problem few months back. I have to get it repaired twice within the warranty period which shows the quality of product.

        Kindly let me know if something can be done in this regard.

        I have submitted my mobile handset with the above mentioned problems with the company’s service centre on 20th Sept 2011 and got the message from the center on 22th Sept 2011 that you may collect your cell phone as it has been repaired. On confirming before moving to collect, I contacted them and asked if all the issues have been settled or not, they said the white spots on the panel can not be removed and the display panel need to be changed which will cost for Rs 1250 even when the handset is under warranty as display panel is not under warranty. On contacting the company’s customer care, they told there is no warranty cover for physical damage of the cell but also said that warranty does not mention that the display is not under warranty. Also, they do not understand the point that the spots are from inside and it can’t be my fault or physical damage from my side. I can not open my own handset to develop those spots. And above that, the lady who picked the call, starts misbehaving. The cell is still lying at the service centre
        I had deposited the cell earlier as well with the service centre for dead display few months back, which is also the current problem. With this the quality of the product can be determined.

        Kindly let me know if any thing can be done by your team in this regard.
        After lodging the complaint at Consumer Complaints, I have got the 2 calls from the company's customer care stating again and again that this is a physical damage and will not be settled under warranty and I have to pay to get rectified. As the customer care people have not seen the cell phone, they are saying the same thing. They are not ready to agree that the spots have developed from inside the phone and not from outside. I don't know what to do, whether I should collect the phone as it is right now (with white spots) or I'll get it rectified as I have borrowed some other mobile from someone and I need an instrument for daily use.

          I first contacted Sony Center here and then wrote to [protected]@ap.sony.com on 18th Sept., 2011

          I purchased SONY AUDIO System (Model no. MHC – GZR5D, Sr. No. 6134809) from Sony Center, Vashi, Navi Mumbai on 22nd Jan., 2011. Recently I have observed that the wood used for manufacturing Speakers’ boxes is extremely poor quality. White powder is coming out of it. I reported the matter to Sony Center on 11th Sept. They sent a person from service center, but he knew nothing about wood and could hardly appreciate the problem and its long term implications. However he wiped out powder with cloth and thus the proof of poor material quality and also assured that someone will call for corrective action. As expected from his attitude, no corrective action has been taken. Subsequently I lodged a complaint on your website. I am really upset on this issue:

          1. All electronic items in my house are of SONY make. But this is the first time I have come across a sub-standard SONY product.
          2. I have advocated this brand amongst my friends circle too.
          3. I purchased a similar Audio system 5 years back but that has no problem neither with the system nor speakers’ wood.
          4. I am not able to digest how a Japanese electronic giant can even think of such sub-standard material.

          I am a busy person and don’t have time to exchange mails. These will also not serve any useful purpose. I have really felt cheated and would request you to replace the speakers or the complete system with a new one without any further delay failing which you will not only lose a battery of customers but also face stern action by way of posting our experience on net.

          I hope to hear from you about the final action and not justifications."

            I bought a Sony Ericsson W100i ( My first Sony phone ) on 6 Nov 2010. Its been 5 months since then and I am having a horrible experience with the phone by visiting the service centre 4 times !!! I am regretting buying the phone !!

            The problems never seem to end :
            1. The phone keeps on showing "Out of Memory" even if the memory is completely empty !!! - I HAVE BEEN TO THE SERVICE CENTRE THRICE ALREADY WITH THIS PROBLEM AND HAVE GOTTEN MY PHONE FORMATTED !! TODAY IS THE FOURTH TIME I VISITED THE SERVICE CENTRE !!(please see below for my recent problem)
            - If Message Inbox contains 8 simple messages the phone will display "Out of Memory " ..and the only solution is to delete all messages and then restart the phone.
            2. Restart is a headache ..it takes ages for the phone to restart ...the only thing you can be ensured of is the "Please Wait.." message !!
            3. Sometimes while trying to click a picture using the camera , the phone will restart !!
            4. I cannot install new themes ..
            and the list goes on ..

            plz provide some god s/w update to olsve the hell lot of problems that every w100i face.

            sony ericsson spiro — Worst Phone

            Worst phone from sony.The phone does not support even basic services like messaging.hanges frequently.Bad battery.Have problems the very next day i purchased it.i purchased it on NOV 11 2010.I want refund.Please take some action on this ,they are fooling the market.I had bad thoughts when i saw it was made in china .Please ban these handsets from made in china

            I have purchased a Sony ericsson mobile "w100i" Spiro on 4th October 2010.
            from the day of purchasing of this mobile i am facing problems in my mobile it starts getting hanged and getting restarted, i went to the service center as per them they submitted my mobile on services center on 08/10/2010 ( SAREGAMA MOBILES ANAND ) when i got my mobile after 15 DAYS the problem was the same and when i went again to service center for same they confirmed that there is a problem in motherboard and i need to submit my mobile phone for around 15 day or more, i am not having any alternate mobile, i am working with private sector not having time to visit daily service center and also cant live without handset for 15 days so i need fresh replacement or please provide refund or replacement...i am very disturbed i am feeling i have been cheated by the company kindly provide me a resolution as soon as possible

I again submitted it to the sevice center 21st may 2011, work order numbr-se[protected]. its been 20 days now and they are telling me that the work is still in progress.now i need model replacement or please provide refund...i am very disturbed i am feeling i have been cheated by the company kindly provide me a resolution as soon as possible or else i have to face towards consumer court.

            Sony Ericsson — Complaint Regarding Spiro (W100i)

            Hello Sir, This is deepak Mittal.. please kindly solve my problem as i didn't get any support from anybody. Sir i purchased a sony ericson (Spiro) set on 29th may 2011, after 4-5 days when i inserted my new memory card in it. it became hang and didn't support it.. then i went to the harkishan service center (Roshanara road) and submitted it, they said it has a software problem and told me to come after 1 week. when i took my handset i used rarely 10-15 days after that it showed me a new kind of problem that was phone hanging and proper working of keypad. I again took my handset to the same service center and they again submitted my phone and told me the same thing come after one week. When i took my set i again rarely used 5-7 days, it again showed me a new problem of battery charging. It was my 3rd time when i took my hanset to the same service center, this time they kept my handset for 15 days in the processing. now finally they told me to charged my phone after switching off, otherwise it can have problem again. After that i was using it, it once more indicated the same problem of phone hanging and automatic keypad work, now it was my 4th time (in four months) to the same service center, i submitted my phone and after 15 days they handed over to me. But in this process i had purchased a new handset, becoz i was having a lot of problem to using this set. In month of november mid when i inserted my sim into the phone, i looked up the problem was remain constant, when 5th time when i took my handset to the service center, now this time they rejected to submit my set and told me that u have putted some liquid in the handset, while my handset was asusual like before. i had no any option so i went to sony eriscsson center at time Square in Gurgaon on 2nd of december 2011, where i met Mr. Sujoy Roy ([protected]) and they assured me to replace my handset and once more sent me to same service center to replace my handset, this time i was given a new work order no. and given me the time of one week, but till now 2 and half week have past and result is void, they didn't have any action for my complaint.. plz kindly do the needful..ASAP.. i really will be thankful to you.

                Sub.: Non durable & not suitable (Under prevailing Indian conditions) products of Sony.

                Dear Sir,

                I have to inform you with great shock that I had purchased your Sony Television 29 inches, Model SZ29ZN80 (S.No. 6212987) on 12/10/2006 vide bill no. 1299 from M/S Shree Geeta Electronics, Panipat amounting to Rs. 21,250.00.

                On dated 19.09.2011, suddenly it was stopped functioning. Complaint was lodged with your Customer Care Centre No.[protected] on dated 20.09.2011 & the representative of your Panipat Customer centre (M/S Aditya Enterprises, Model Town) visited my residence. After inspecting the television, he explained that due to heavy voltage, some its parts have been burnt. Hence an estimate of Rs.1,800.00 was given for their replacement.

                It was my surprise that for such a costly home appliance, M/S Sony have not taken any precaution to save the important parts of the product due to high voltage which in India is a normal feature as far as electricity supply in India is concerned.

                Company has also not bothered to intimate the customers in this regard at the time of purchase so that customers could take suitable precautions to save their costly home appliances. Company has also not displayed this deficiency on any part of the body of the television that customers have to take care of this deficiency by any means.

                Really, such type of fault on the part of a reputed company like yours is not expected at all.Due this fault on the part of the company I had to pay the above charges to your Panipat’s Customer care Centre which I feel should not be charged from your valuable customers.

                Under the above circumstances, I approach your good office to please confirm:-

                1. That the failure of the parts (No. MHC-VX33, KLV-26S50A) are the only cause due to high voltage of power.

                2. That no precaution has been taken to save the parts of the television due high voltage.

                In addition to the above, please consider my request to refund the cost of the replaced parts i.e Rs. 1800.00 for which your customer is not at fault s by any way & since the company has not fulfilled its duty to make its customer familiar while using your product.

                I hope you will appreciate the above & use your office to give justice to me.

                  i had purchased yendo(w150) from sangeetha mobiles, on 23rd march 2011, the handset has lot of problems,
                  once we cant hear the voice while on the call, and another time it hangs, and now i cannot download anything from net, if we start down loading it gets switch off automatically.
                  when i had called to sony erricson customer care on 27th august they registered a complaint and told that they will revert back in 48 hours, but still no one has called back.

                  i had went to service center for more than 10 times till now, again and again new problems are arising, and i am fed up by this problem.

                  sony-erricson is really worst company i have ever seen, i trusted the company till now but i have lost my trust by seeing its customer care.

                  i request the concerned person to take necessary action immediately

                    I have purchased Sony VAIO laptop , Model No. VPCEA35 FG from :

                    Price was – 33000 INR (Including Tax) - (offered price as it was the last stock. )
                    I didn’t check its speakers that time as I didn’t have any music CD or pendrive to listen songs and I thought that it cannot come with any such defect as it is a new product.
                    Later on, After hearing at home I noticed that It came with the defect in its speakers , as Initially the sound was too low to hear normally and a sound of bizzzz came in between any video and song being played.
                    So, after observing these things for few days, I contacted sonyvaio centre and they gave me the phone no. of nearby authorised service station which was :

                    As I have been staying outside Delhi, SO I took an appointment from them and reached Tilak Nagar, Service centre .There after discussing theproblem , They said they have to ask for the parts and then I can come some other time.So, I went again to Delhi after one week and they gave me my laptop by saying that they have changed the speaker and motherboard.

                    Now, Although the sound is increased but sound quality has become poorer , shrilling is there and the problem of bizzzz when some movie or sound track is going on is also present like it was earlier and moreover I couldn’t notice that time they have not even fixed nuts of my laptops, 3-4 nuts are missing from my laptop which someone else noticed as I have never come across such problems with my earlier laptops.SO, I couldn’t notice &it was horrible experience.
                    I purchased SONY VAIO keeping in mind that their products will be of no complaints but It has not been a happy experience.Though I feel that some time some piece may come with defect but at least service centres should do proper service. They formatted my laptop and even it become worse after that …I would have to take help of someone else and then I had again uploaded windows and antivirus
                    Kindly look in to the matter and make customer’s experience good and happy. I liked the configuration but one cannot expect such defects in such a reputed companies products.
                    Kindly help us in replacing the product or correcting the fault.

                      Sir,This is mala phouzder from Railway Officers Flat,New Alipur/Kolkata who is being cheated by our store since 1st january'2011. On that day I met to your store manager and handed over my mobile handset to the technician working over there in the store. The LCD was not functioning at that time and according to them the LCD was damaged and I have to pay Rs.990/- for that parts. On 5th jan when I got it back the LCD was not purely rectified, in addition to that the Camera and right side key was also became non functioning.When asked, it was told by the technician that I have to keep my handset again with them and he advised me to change the facial of the said machine for which I have to pay again Rs.950. Then and there I gave him the money and the problem started..... From January to April they doesn't listen me and I myself visited mobile stores atleast 20 times. After repeated complain to the mobile store's higher authorities one of the high official from Bombay called me in the month of april end and assured me that I will get it back by 10 to 15 days.The head of the department of kolkata area also contacted with me. In the month of June that Technician of mobile store came to my house and handed over the set to me. The set at that time was 70%ok.But the LCD still was not functioning properly at that time. Just after a couple of days the Camera became non-functioning while switched on the set started hanged-on. Within a week the side key stopped functioning.As I was busy with my daughters MBBS admission the story of this mobile set was totaly out of my mind,. Day before Yesterday again I went to your store and they advised me to send a complain over mail so that the problem goes directly to you and my problem will be solved immediately. Now I am tired off the famouse "MOBILE STORES OF INDIA"... please do the needfull as early as possible.

                        Hello,
                        I bought a Sony DSC W320 cybershot camera from Finland in May 2010 expecting high quality product and services. However to my surprise the camera started malfunctioning within a couple of months - it started getting hung with a light green display and required me to take out the battery each time in order to make it function again. To get this issue checked I took the camera to Sony's south extention service center where after checking it for about 5-10 mins, the technician told me that there was no issue found with the camera.

                        I continued to use the defective camera with the same hard boot (taking out battery ) trick uptil last month when the camera suddenly stopped powering on inspite of the battery being fully charged. I again took the camera to CLUB ELECTRONICS (SONY AUTHORIZED SERVICE CENTRE) South Extention on 28th August'11, where I was told that it will require an inspection.

                        After two days of submitting the camera, I got the due call on 30th Aug'11 and was told that there is some motherboard to be replaced due to some circuit issue that has come up - please note, the technician maintained that the cause doesnt seem like a physical damage or spillage.

                        Now, came the big surprise - I was told that since I bought the camera outside India, the 3 year warranty wont apply and I'll have to pay INR 2965 for the same. When I queried more, I was suggested to call up on SONYs toll free number [protected] and get details on how international warranty could be bought for the said camera.

                        BIG QUESTION - how can there be repair charges of INR 3000 for a camera costing INR 8000!!!

                        Anyways, I called up [protected] on 30th Aug'11 and the agent logged complaint number 8051632 and assured me that I'll get a call back from the concerned service department within 2 days.
                        When I didnt get a call, I again called the tollfree number on 2nd Sept'11 and was told that my complaint has been escalated further and I should get a call back within 1 day.

                        The same message was given to me again yesterday (6th Sept'11) and only when I insisted was I told the name of the service manager (Ms Vinita Tyagi) and Sony India boardline number[protected]. I tried contacting her yesterday, but couldnt get through. Finally I got to speak with Mr Urvashi who maintained that only Ms Vinita Tyagi can address this but her number is busy and that she'll arrange a call back.

                        IMMEDIATE QUESTION to SONY: 9 days, 4 customer calls and still no revert to the customer - is this how SONY works!!!

                        I bought the camera expecting it help me capture special moments of my life - but this whole experience has actually left a bad taste.

                        I'm still looking for a call back and expect help /advise from SONY on how this repair should be taken forward. Such exorbitant repair charges are unacceptable and I sincerely hope SONY India takes a look at the case, specially with the running defect (hung screen with green display) and the fact that it has been bought only last year (May 2010).

                        Would appreciate a quick response / call back and apprpriate help to get the problem with my camera resolved without these exorbitant charges.

                        Hello,
                        Immediately after I wrote the email below, did I receive a call from Ms Vinita Tyagi, who patiently heard my problem and offered 25% discount on my next purchase of a SONY cybershot. This she said has to be confirmed by me over email, so she took my email id to provide details of the offer etc. It's been 4 days again now, and inspite of 2 calls to the toll free number [protected] again, there is no correspondence from SONY.

                        I would really appreciate someone to get this resolved at the earliest and put an end to it.

                        Its been 17 days now - umpteen number of calls (i've lost track how many), but Ms Vinita Tyagi is elusive. Got through SONY india board number finally but Ms Urvashi tells me that Ms Vinita is not reachable again...Got knows how many days this will continue...I'm now going to put this on some consumer complaint portal hoping somebody will have a look and care to address a customer issue.

                        Hi All,

                        I bought Sony Cybershot DSC-H70 and i found screen flickering issue on LCD, i have reported this issue 45 days back and they took around 30 days to replace it. But even in new peace i found the same issue. I have given my feedback and till now i haven't receive any solution regarding same.

                        Just want to mentioned Sony cust care comes no.1 on the list of pathetic, disgusting and ridicules cust care. Well congrats to Sony for that. I have marked so many main even called them n number of times but till now i havent receive satisfactory responce by anyone. Now i am seeing similar issue faced by many customer, then i come to know it is their trend or must say tradition of handling any issue.

                        I even mentioned in my mail that "i think i bought some Chinese item from local electronic shop, who doesn't offer any service any purchasing the product" Evem this doesnt make any change. Wooooooooooooow to Sony Cust care.

                          I have a sony ericsson mobile phone which model no. is U5i it is having a problem in charging on the date of 18.08.2011. I see my phone is in under warranty. than i goes to sony ericsson service center in Panipat on the date of 19.08.2011. They see my phone and say it should be send to our headquarter and it takes the 7days time to repair. I agree and give the my mobile phone to service center and they gives me the workorder no. SE[protected] and they tell me to check the status on the websites http://sein.servicetrack.in . Than i called to customer care no. on the date of around of 30.08.2011 and the customer care executive Ishita has told me that my phone will be repair soon and give me my complaint no. 91134621 than i regularly follow up with local service center and they told me to talk to the customer care no. than I called to the customer care on 12.09.2011 my call is attended by Kanchan and she told to me customer care is contacted me soon and gives me my complaint no.9124966 and also said to me to contact local service center than i called to local service center on the no.[protected] they told to me that they are regularly follow up with the company and according to them company has told that my phone motherboard is not working and the motherboard is not in the stock and the local service center not know the exactly time of repair of my handset. Today is the 25th day and the problem is still pending as it is and nobody is knows the how many times consumes in solving the my problem.

                          Sony Ericsson / Mobile — charging issue

                          Hi,
                          I am using a sony ericsson phone , model k770i .It is under warranty till jan 2010. On 25 nov 09 I noticed charging issue in my phone . I took the phone to sony ericsson service centre " RT OUTSOURCING SERVICES LTD., UG14, suneja tower 2 , janakpuri newdelhi 110018. I explained the problem , and i asked to check whether my charger is faulty or not , instead of checking that the said it is fine . Please notice that they even didnt take the charger from me to check . After diagnosis they found my charging slot faulty and asked me to submit the phone for a week . In order to give a last check i took the mobile and plugged my charger again ,sometime it was charging my phone and sometime it wasnt. So, i was sure it was something wrong with my charger . Instead of telling them again to check the charger they replied its fine .After a week when i went to take my mobile back I found my keypad changed and still there was problem with the charging .
                          I was carrying my charger that day again and when i plugged it the mobile didnt show any sign of charging . I was shocked to hear from them that my charger is faulty and they are asking me to submit it for a week. I told them that there casual approach has ruined my bussiness a lot in that 7 days and i cant afford another 7 days so they offered me to submit the charger .Its been a careless attitude from sony ericsson authorised service centre . I have been without my mobile for almost 9 days which gave me few loss in my bussiness . I would like you to make aware that I complaint about my navigation key not running smoothly also., but still its the same case and since i received the mobile from the service centre the back of the phone seems unfitted properly.
                          I would like have a honest answer from you and want to know who is the responsible person for all the monetary loss i faced due to sony ericsson. I am sure i would not recommend this brand to anyone now as its giving fake service to their customers.If they would have checked my charger that day either i would have purchased a new charger or got a replacement from them. I would like to draw your attention towards the inconvenience i faced and i would take this matter to the authorities.

                            I purchased a CRT television from Sony India Pvt. Ltd. via their exclusive dealer “Suriya Kiran Electronics” for a purchase price of Rs 47,000. On 13th Nov 2010, the above said CRT television stopped working due to defective BH board. I tried contacting the dealer multiple times on the phone numbers given on the invoice but was unsuccessful as company has changed it customer care number given on the warranty card. Finally, on 24th March 2011, I was able to get in touch with customer care #[protected] and logged a complaint. After that, Mr Rakesh from Sony visited my residence and inspected the above television on 9th April 2011. He charged me Rs 110 as visiting charges and advised that television set has a defective DRP board and will has to be taken to the service station for repair. He advised that Rs 300 will be charged for picking up the set and another person will come to pickup the television next week. However, no one turned up for next 3 weeks. I further followed up multiple times with customer care number in May, June, July and have multiple complaint numbers given to me by different call center people. On 31st July 2011 another person from Sony visited my residence charged Rs 110 again on account of service charges. He advised that the earlier person who visited never reported the case in Sony’s office & hence my television was not picked. He assured me that this time he will get it done & finally my television set was picked up from my residence on 11th August 2011 by Sony vendor “HI-END SOLUTIONS”. A charge of Rs 300 was taken on as pickup & delivery charges. He advised me that this part would be replaced at the cost of Rs 6000. I kept on following up with them post that on phone & was advised in third week of August that television cannot be repaired as company has stopped producing the defective part. Post, which they advised me to take the defective television back as nothing can be done in this regard. Further, my daughter in law found out the Sony’s head office address and had multiple telephonic discussions with Mr Mahesh, receptionist of Vineeta Tyagi & Mr Abhijit. We have detailed log of these conversations but were unsuccessful in getting the problem resolved.

                            Sony Television — TV Repair

                            Dear Sir,
                            I have got my TV repaired in Sony Service Centre, Hazratganj. My complain was of TV tuner which was changed but my TV worked for one hour and later on it started sparking then we switched Off the TV and call the Enggineer who visited my Home. He came back very next day and told us your Cathode Gun has gone defective and you will have to pay Rs. 7000/- for repair. My TV was earlier fine but was working only with 30 channels. Now after investing money also it is lying dead at sony service centre, (SONIC CARE, HAZRATGANJ).
                            Kindly look into the matter.

                            I have several complaint numbers. I am giving the most recent one (#7995371). There are 5 more with me for the same TV problem.

                            Its not the best solution, they are asking me to pay 75% of the cost of new TV. If this continous, I will have shell out 35000 to 40000 every 5 years for a TV. This is not expected from brand like Sony.
                            This is Highly Unprofessional on the part of Sony India. People like us are ready to pay 25-30% more for buying sony product with similar features/quality product, but if this is the response of the company whay should we go for it. Mr. Nagpal, you please write to the MD of the company as most of the customer care people are insensitive to the consumer concerns and problems and are least botherd about the image of the company. If you still do not receive any response, then other option can be explored.

                            I do not see any scope of replacement or compensation in this regard as the product evidently falls outside the scope of Warranty. I am afraid, if the Company is offering a 25% discount on a similar product, you should go for it. The defect has arisen after five years. You could have been denied any service or any offer, but I suppose it is the goodwill gesture of the Company towards their customers, that they are still ready to offer a discount of 25% on new purchase.

                                  This is Anjali Nale, I bought Sony Ericssion T-700 model in Sep-2010.
                                  But I am facing lots of with this product, Problems are like-
                                  1- Display problem
                                  2- Battery Drain out faster
                                  3- cell getting Swithch off while talking
                                  4- Memory Card not detecting now

                                  And many more problem like this.

                                  For this Problems i had submitted my cellphone to custmer care thrice in last whole year bt still facing same problem.

                                  Sony ericssion custmer care is very bad.
                                  Not treating their custmer properly.

                                    came to our home in 9th main srinivasanagar and sold 3 pcs of above-mentioned silicon geysers.
                                    after that , it is not working properly. they promised to change the instrument. But, I have tried calling them 30-40 times in couple of weeks ... only to hear that they will come... There is no action taken by them in this regard. Nobody frm their company turned up .. not even a call in response frm them.
                                    they have sold each geyser for INR 3000 ( Three thousand rupees)
                                    with a 8 yrs Guarantee and with free regular service to the instrument from their company.
                                    It looks like they are bunch of cheaters with the intention to loot innocent customers ... giving them some scrap machines which are of No use !!!! (defective ones which are not working frm the beginning)
                                    they dont even respond properly .
                                    I request you to give us justice and solve this issue as soon as possible

                                      I bought a Sony EX-720 3D 32 inch LED from Snehanjali retail shop. on the day of purchase i asked can i get normal channel in 3D, they said arround 60-70% you can get 3D view, they gave me 3D demo on LG, but now on home i am not that kind of 3D view, not around 10%. now they are telling me that you have purchase blue ray disc if you want to see that 3D view, which i saw on the day of Demo on LG. i was totally misguided from snehanjali, i am get 3D view on my LED, manager of snehajali told me, that now we can't do nothing.

                                      I explain them that nobody told me about this disc player condition now you telling me that you have to purchase that. its totally unfair. Its a hidden condition that you people putting on me after purchase.
                                      Now my problem is that, i have 3D tv, i have 3D glass, but i have no 3D view. I have been cheated. They told me something, i got something else.

                                      on the other hand i requested sony to give me 3D Demo, atlest you people show me that, the LED i purchase is in reality is a 3D tv or not, but from last 10 days there is no response from them. pls sugggest me what should i do now.

                                      Back to square one. no body is doing nothing against my complaint. sony's executives make everyday commitments to resolve my problem, but actual they are wasting my time. sony told me to go snehanjali showroom, to make them understand. and snehanjali just keep telling me to asks sony to do something for you. and now i do call almost everyday to sony, and they just keep telling me to go snehanjali. i am getting frustrated now. really does't know what to do.

                                        I purchased a new Sony Ericsson SK17i set from mobile store , Metropolitan Shopping Mall on 21st August 2011. At home we tried a outstation SIM which worked temporarily. Following day we applied for a Vodafone connection which we got activated on Thursday. On inserting the SIM we found that SIM is not readable by the phone. We thought that might be a SIM issue and lodged complaint with vodaphone customer care. Vodafone reverted that the SIM is working properly as per connection status.
                                        In view to resolve the issue we went to Mobile store on saturday 27th August 2011 which didnot show much interest to help and informed that after 48 hrs they have no liability and thats written on the bill. We checked the bill and didnot found any mention however to resolve we went to Sony Ericsson Exclusive Sony Ericsson Certified Service Centre at Shiv narayan Complex, MG Road , Gurgaon where centre manager response gave me a shock by his harsh and rude behaviour. He told that even if phone is only 7 days old the resposibility of Sony Ericsson is over. I told him that phone has not even used once but he didnot agree. After lots of heated arguements he consulted his office and told me that since SIM slot pin is damage he would take coys advise for the same and would inform by evening.
                                        I am placing this mail for records for my expected consumer court case.
                                        It is a shocker that brands like Sony Ericssion service is at such a low level that I fear to puchase any product manufactured by them in future. Imagine what would happen to the phone after few months if it has already shown problems with pin in its very first week.

                                        Sony Ericsson — new idea to sell

                                        I have an idea but I do not knw how to sell it, it is very vital to generate more revenue and reduce pullotion, and reduce cost, more healthy for the mobiles and laptops.. Please advise me what to do...
