[Resolved]  Sony Ericsson W305i — Faulty Handset within warranty period)

I purchased Sony Ericsson Handset Model W3501 from Mobile Store, Ahmadabad.Within two weeks the handset started getting heated, the software started crashing.I handed over the handset to The Mobile store, which in turn sent it to Sony Ericsson service Center, Drive -in Road, Ahmadabad.

I am yet to receive my handset back (even after 45 days) and they claim to have changed Mother Board thrice as it is crashing every time.Every time I call for the status, the answers I keep getting from executives are like"how do we know", "nothing can be done", "you can only wait" and such vague replies.When we call to ask for relevant official numbers, the service center refuses to give it saying those are private numbers and they will get back, which they never do.Twice I went to collect the handset when they told so, yet I was made to wait for over two hours. I still dont have my handset back.They are themselves accepting that the handset is "faulty".

My IMEI/serial Number is [protected].My registered case number is 73503963.

I want the relevant authorities to look into the matter as I do not want to approach the Consumer Court yet.

As an educated Customer I am well aware of my rights and I dont understand how a Company of such an International Strature can employ such rude, tactless, underqualified people who are ill equipped to deal with customers and not even provide service on time.I am fed up of having to wait for more than a month and not even having a replacement yet.I am willing to upgrade to another new handset and pay the difference .Kindly look into the matter.

Please do the needful by directing my complaint to the right persons.

As a consumer, I am feeling cheated and am having to deal with Customer Care(less) Staff, who are saying that my handset will take at least 15 days more to come by courier from Chennai ...making me wonder if Sony Ericsson is resorting to delivery by Bullock Carts as a drastic measure of Global Cost Cutting.

I would much rather go in for a Replacement or have my money back, as it is the company's responsibility to replace a faulty product under warranty.

sony ericsson mobile G502 — i am facing problem within 7 days of my purchase company doesnot give any answere

I have purchased G502 sony ericcson mobile from sony distributor/stockist/dealer/experience store : VENUS ELECTRONICS on 13th August2009 Invoice number: 593
IMEI number:[protected].

I found that the speaker of the phone and the ringer were faulty and not functioning properly and battery was getting dicharged very often say after 15 to20 minutes of talktime approximately, I visited the service centre on 21st August2009(Work order number: SE [protected]).I had to sit there and wait for two and half hours.

Again within 2 days I found that batteryagain got drained out, I again visited the service centre on 24th August2009(Work order number: SE [protected]).I had to sit there and wait for more than 2 hours and I was told that battery has to be replaced so I should visit the centre at 5.30pm. Again I visited the service centre in the evening (Work order number: SE [protected]) . I wasted one and half hour again.
I had also visited the dealer number of times.

Again within 10 days I found that camera was not working , I again visited the service centre on 8th sept2009(Work order number: SE [protected]).I had to sit there and wait for more than 2 hours . My mobile was repaired and given back.

I have wasted almost three to four days and lot of money behind this.

Now on 9th sept 2009, again I found that camera was not working and battery was getting drained out. I again approched to the dealer and reported the fact, I had also gone to service centre and met Mr. Nilesh/Mr. AshishGoel , I was told that I had to keep my mobile for almost 15 to 20 days to get it repaired. I was shocked to listen to this. Also I cannot afford to keep my mobile close even for 5minutes. Also this mobile was purchased to replace 2 old mobiles in my company, Also it would not be fair to ask anybody to lend mobile for 20 days.

I feel it is shameful on the part of company like sony to cheat and harass the customers in this manner.

Iam using mobiles since 1997,I had some problems occassionaly, but this was simply horrible.

I had also tried to talk to helpline nos.[protected] couple of times , there was sharp negligence and tone of irresponsibility in their language. I hope they have recorded the conversation.

HAD IT BEEN IN ANY OTHER COUNTRY , SONY WOULD HAVE BEEN SUED AND FORCED TO PAY HUGE COMPENSATION

I would request the company to take back the hand set and refund me the amount.

I AM NOT ABLE TO START SBI MOBILE BANKING WITH k 790i
I have also purchase G502 mobile in March 2009. But it is really a problem handset. My phone speaker was not sounding good. So I went to service center and repaired it. He said he has changed the speaker. But the very next day I again found it is not sounding properly. But the service center said, it is OK and the sound of the mobile is like wise only.
Recently my mobile was dead. When I showed to the service center, they said it is liquid damaged i.e. damaged due to water entry. I explained them this has not happened, but inspite of convincing him, he didn't agreed to repair under warranty, saying that he is helpless. Means he is agreed verbally that this is due to moisure formation at charger point and gradually this has damaged the phone, but he said this is not under warranty. I was surprised to that, inspite of this being handset problem I was not provided with warranty. Moreover, the mobile is now irrepairable. I emailed Sony for this and also talked to there toll no. customer support, but he also said that if service center is refusing we are helpless. i requested him for giving contact of some technical person to whom I can talk from company and that we disagrees the service I will not complaint any more. But he didn't even gave that and just cancelled the phone. Such a rediculus service. I have decided, no more buying of Sony phones. I request all for the same as out of 10 probability of Sony phone being defect free is 2 only.
