I am maintaining a DSP account [protected] at Nandigram branch code 1555, West Bengal. I am using SBI net banking. I intended to SMS alert of transaction at my new mobile no [protected] instead of [protected]. On 12 Jan 13, I have requested for same at online banking.
On 13 Jan 13 evening I got a receive call from [protected], Ashish Mehta, SBI Mumbai, Nehru Stadium, Mumbai. He claimed for an assistant of SBI Mumbai and on 14 Jan 13, I also got calls from [protected](SBI TOLL FREE) and[protected], Mohan Kumar, SBI Card Centre, Bangalore. Both of them asked me some questions for account verification as DOB, Address, account No, Card No. After I satisfied I gave them as they asked due to call from SBI Toll free Number. They told me SMS alert will be activated at my new mobile number within 24 hours.
I felt a doubt and went to nearest SBI, Khaprail, Siliguri ATM and check my a/c status. I found there are 10 transactions were made on 13 and 14 Jan 13 by online shopping, POS PURC, BILLDESK SBIPG and for the amount of Rs 94,300.00 debited from my account. I immediately changed my PIN No. I am holding my ATM debit card not handover to anybody.
You are requested to please query on the above subject and refund the debited amount at my account at the earliest.

SBI Credit Card — Harassment for Final Settlement
Dear Sir / Madam,I had SBI credit card until 2005 which advertently lost while fueling petrol. I suddently found a charge for Rs.1300 on petrol one time and called SBI to block the card. Also requested the call center person to provide me a replacement card.
SBI did not send me a replacement card. I forgot to pay the bills which eventually accumulated with all the maintenance charges and soforth to Rs.4000 in 6 months. A call came from SBI requesting me to do a final settlement which they mentioned as Rs.2150 which would be collected by a collection agent. Realization of the payment will be done by SBI cards and eventually they would send me a closure letter.
I paid them Rs.2150 and got a receipt from the collection agent. However, SBI card never sent me a closure letter. They credited 2150 as a regular payment and kept the remaining balance. I could not call and complain as the card number given in my ebill was not original card number. However in beginning of 2008, I got a call again from a collection agent. This time again asking me to settle the bill. The call was such a harassment where I had to finally cut the phone off. After that there was no call for a year until the past two weeks.
This time SBI again wants to pay me a settlement fee to close the current balance which has gone upto Rs.10500. I never had a card since 2006. Paid the settlement fee. SBI kept charging me with annual fee and interest to accumulate it until today.
I am not sure whether to pay once again the settlement amount they are asking so that we get a closure or keep ignoring this.
