These kind of mails, THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY FRAUD. DONT BELIEVE IN THEM.
I am narrating an incident which happened to my friend last year. He also received such kind of mail and after that he sent all his details. The person concerned called him up and requested him around some 250 pounds for shipping charges. He sent it. Later they asked him to buy an "Anti terrorist Certificate" worth 1500 Pounds which was also a fake certificate he received thru mail. He foolishly transferred the amount and the aftermath was even serious.
The person bluffed he had come down to India and was in Mumbai. He said that the customs ppl have caught him along with the consignment and are demanding a sum of 2 Lakh rs... and he also sent some fake passport copy as his proof of coming to India. And that was the time my frnd realised that it was all fake.. poor guy.. he lost 1 and half lakhs..
I wanna ask you few questions.. Answer them to yourself..
1. Is the BMW company mad, that they arbitarily pick some mail ID and give such an amount.. that too in this time of recession
2. And dint you ever notice the mail ID you have received the mail from.. I hope a company as big as BMW has its own mail, like BMW.com or something else. but we get these mails from hotmail, gmail, live.com.. which are regular mails.
THESE ORGANIZATIONS WORK ON ONLY ONE BASE " HUMAN GREED FOR MONEY"
