[Resolved]  Titan - Fastrack — Exchange of a Watch

Dear Sir,
I purchased a ladies wrist watch(Fast Track) at a titan showrom(Address mentioned below) on 23 Dec 07 to gift to a friend.On the same day we gift wrapped it to present it her.Due to christmas holiday's,we were able to give the gift our friend only on 31 Dec 07.When we opened the gift, to our surprise the watch had scratches on it.So,we two girls(Me & My friend) decided to exchange the same & went to the showroom today i.e,02 Jan 08.I approached the same guy in the showroom with whom we dealt at the time of purchase who directed us to his senior Mr. Lekhan.These guys were very much aware about the scartches on the watches,so even before looking at the watch he said it cannot be exchanged & said that we have come to manipulate things.Mr.Lekan did not had the decency to talk to us properly,spoke to us very rudely& harshly & when we asked to behave properly he said 'Aap apna number dijiye,aapse hum tameej phone par seek lenge'.
My complaints are
1)They duped us with a damaged watch piece.
2)The guy with whom we dealt at the time of purchase didn't speak to us which cleary indicates that he was aware of our complaint & the damaged watch piece
3)His senior Mr.lekhan behaved very rudely & shouted at the top of his voice in the showroom although we were just requesting to exchange the watch with another one.
If at all we were on the wrong side,i wouldn't have gone to the showroom to exchange it.
My Request:
I want the damaged watch to be replaced at the earliest & a proper training be given to the guys in the showroom about the etiquetts of handling a customer.

Titan Eye+ Glasses — Bad Product, Worse Service, Worst Response

I had purchased titan eye product worth INR 3100. Just within 3 weeks the product has malfunctioned. Titan is now refusing to replace the product. Their head of customer care - says ’’’’Do Whatever You Can’’.

I could have very well purchased some cheap spectacles worth 750 rupees from any other optician. But i chose to spend almost four times the amount with a trust that i will get dependable product from Titan; but i was incorrect. They are now so rude to me and it is very sad to hear such a negative and unreasonable response from a person as senior as the head of customer service. First two days the people in local showroom just refused to divulge any contact information of any of their seniors. Also, the customer care number is not in a working condition. It is so shocking. Why would i or anybody else buy such a costly product and then regret.

So shocking to hear such a response from such a reputed organization like the Tatas. Can some senior management personnel pls help me. Thanks - [protected]@gmail.com

i bought a fast track watch(4042PP01) 3 years back but its strap crack by its own n i go to the fast track showroom in ciry roorkee state uttrakhand in august they take no. of my fast track watch n said strap is going to come within few days but, it didn't come till now my exams are going on n i need my watch, my father didn't have so much time n energy to go to the showroom after every week n ask for strap...since i m out of station...is this is the way of managing CRM if it's then i m telling u you r on wrong track...n i[censored] can help send my strap to the showroom so that i can collect it from there as soon as possible...

After selection two model purchase one against Tax Invoice No[protected] dated 3.3.2011 for Rs 1850/-.
Due to some personal problem without deposit any advance for the second selected watch,we only ask the model no of that watch for recognised that in the next day.That person { Mr.Kuntal Choudhury } become change his behavior with thinking about lose sale of the second watch and refused to tell the model no with saying that is out of TITAN's policy.When we ask for the paper of that policy he said he don't liable to show that to the customer and the argument begin from the showroom to the pavement.

The TITAN WORLD shyambazar putting down the glamor of Tata /TITAN we also faced that type of issue.
I also buy watch cost of Rs 1300, after 1 year belt is broken. At company service centre told me price of Belt around Rs 600 with 3 months warrety.Which is worst.
I suggest to all, shift your watch machine to any local Watch & used it.
Dont buy never fast track watches, its worst ie wastage of money.

Titan Watch - Edge — Service Charge under guarantee period

Dear Sir,

I had purchased a Titan Edge watch from World of Titan -Exclusive show room Eranakulam (phone:[protected] on 23rd July 2009, for Rs.9045.00 which is still under guarantee period.

As the watch stop working, I took it to the show room for checking and they said that only the battery has to be replaced.

They replaced the battery, costing just Rs.89.00 and gave me a bill for Rs.166.00, including service charge (their bill no.217 dt.06/05/2011).

As the product is under guarantee period, how can they charge me with service charge ?

Titan Qtz1163bm02n985 — Golden colour fed

I purchased a watch on19.06.2010 of Model No: QTZ1163BM02N985 , from Sankar Watches and Optical , Bapujinagar ,Bhubenaswar . That particular watch had a warranty of Two years and the warranty of Band is One year , within one year the golden colored band was discolor 40 % to 50 % , in 11/04/2011 i given the watch to my shop where from i purchased and request to change the band or take necessary action for the band , on 23/05/2011 when i again visited to the shop to know about my watch they said that company refuse to take any action , the responsible person also left the company (said by the dealer ) . Now what should i do , please advise me immediately and take action as soon as possible.

I purchased a wrist watch variant no.9213SM01 Description J739 OCTAN for Rs.6, 500 on dated 16/05/2011 from M/s MALHOTRA ENTERPRISES, 34B, Shipra Mall, Ghaziabad, Pin.201010.
Yesterday, on 27/09/2011 i went to above said shop with a complaint of my wrist watch.My complaint was not attended to and the above shop passed on the buck to the TITAN company.

I fail to understand where shall i go so that my complaint will be attended. The above watch falls within the warrenty period of six months & the watch has some sort of manufecturing defect witch needs to be attended immedieatly otherwise i will be forced to take to take legal action.

I have brought a titan fastrack watch just 5 months ago...it has now stopped working sometimes for few days.I have sent it to the service center and they replace the battery, but it still not working properly...the watch worked fine for some hour and again it has stopped. suggest me where i go for this issue.
