university of delhi — Credit card not functioning
I am using the ICICI credit card for more than a year now. I received my monthly statement of November and as always i made the payment by drawing a cheque (SBI, Moti Bagh branch, new delhi). soon after i received a message on my mobile saying that the cheque has been returned. The next day i made cash payment at the ICICI branch, mayur vihar. similar thing happened with the december statement as well. i drew the cheque and the cheque got returned. i again made the payment in cash at icici, delhi university. all this while i could not visit my bank. anyhow i purchased something and tried making payment through my credit card but the credit card didnt work. since then i have tried contacting you on the help line numbers but it seems that the bank doesnt accept my credit card number. Anyhow i checked with my SBI bank as to why had they dishonoured my cheque. They told me that my cheque book was an old one and that i need to use the new cheque book. It was shere negligence on their part because they should have informed me about this. They had no right to return my cheque without informing me. They were very apologetic and are ready to send their apology to you.I do have a grievance with your bank aswell. i made cash payment the very next day after being informed about the dishonouring of cheque. I have always paid my dues on time then why have you made my card dysfunctional. At least you could have been a little courteous by informing me that you are making my card dysfunctional. i wonder should you peole (both sbi and icici) not take the responsibilty of informing the client before taking any such decision. i have also paid the charges of dishonour without any fault of mine. why am i being penalised for the fault of others?
There is no dearth of banks in India. As a client of ICIC i thought it is my moral duty to inform you about the negligence.

Respected sir,
I went to withdraw cash using Union Bank of India ATM card from State Bank of India, Madras University Branch on 15trh April at 1.07pm. I asked for Rs.11, 000. Though there was sufficient money in my account, I received a receipt saying "Unable to Process". I tried again. Result was the same, as above mentioned. When I check my balance, it showed only Rs.1444 instead of the available Rs.11, 444. Then I checked my Bank Statement, it showed Rs.10, 000 has been withdrawn on 15th April at 1.07 pm.
A complaint was registered to the concerned branch manager on 4th May 2009. No action has been taken so far. I request you to take necessary steps as soon as poss

Dear SirI, Vinod Kumar, have account in SBI, DU, a/c no [protected]. I transferred Rs 500/- through net banking to State Bank of Travancore on 19th Sep'09 but money was not trasferred till now.
I lodged complain to Sbi, DU but no action is taken till now.
Please do the needful ASAP.
