[Resolved] Vodafone — Harrasment from previous user | |
It is not less than 1 month since I have taken a new connection, bearing # [protected]. From day 1 I have been receiving calls and SMS for the previous user of this number asking for payments outstanding and credit outstanding. I have been receiving calls and SMS from: • Kotak Mahindra • CITIBANK • ICICI BANK and ICICI Loans • Other pvt numbers etc. I would say this is a very poor service level from Vodafone; you might have issued this number to me immediately after the previous customer surrendered the number. Because of you lack of process quality, I am is receiving over 10 calls and other SMS’s harassing me to pay their money. Even if I explain to the caller that I am not the person who they are calling for it does not help. Please do the needful to either inform all concerned authorities / organisations to remove the mapping of the number against the pervious user or issue a new number for me and bear the cost of informing all concerned in my phonebook of the new number.
