[Resolved]  Vodafone — Vodafone Delhi Customer Service - very bad and unresponsive

I have been using Vodafone (previously Hutch) Delhi for quite some time - their customer service, that is, number 111 has gone from bad to worse. While they are showing advertisement that boasts of their good customer care, the fact is that in spite of waiting for more than 20 minutes for almost every day since the last 2 weeks, I have not been able to get anyone on line.

I simply need to change my talk plan since the last 2 months but due to their bad customer service; I have not been able to do it.

Hutch — customer service is not good

Hutch — Worst Customer Service (with some changes)

Hi,

My name is Siraj. My phone number is [protected] and email id: [protected]@dell.com. I’m very disappointed with Hutch service which is becoming bad to worst day by day. Recently I made a call to Hutch customer service because I was being charged Re 1 per sms which was supposed to be 1 paisa per sms. Before calling them I sent an sms “MYPLAN” to 111 (by mistake before i typed 121 in my first complaint) to check my plan detail and it was showing 1 paisa per sms only but I was being charged Re 1 per sms. When I called the customer care department, first one rep received the call and I asked him few questions which he was not aware of like why I'm charged Re 1 and so on, so he said he will transfer the call to his team leader and he transferred it then the call got disconnected. Then again I called, this time another rep by the name Shiva received my call and he was very bad in communication, he was unable to speak proper English and at all when he was unable to explain me or talk to me properly I said him to transfer my call to a team leader and he transferred the call to his team leader and there was a ringer tone and no one received the call and the call got disconnected. Again I called customer care department and this time fortunately it was Shiva again, so I said him that no one was receiving the call and make sure that someone receives my call before transferring, talk to the supervisors or team leader that you are transferring the call and then transfer but this time also no one received my call after he transferred and the call got disconnected. Again I gave a call and said that I want to speak to a manager and repeated the same story with the third rep and I asked him his manager’s name but to my surprise he first said that he cannot tell the name of his manager. Then he said he doesn’t know his manager’s name and he will check and tell me and he placed my call on hold for 7 minutes and later disconnected my call. Then again I called customer care and rep this time transferred the call to the team leader and he noted my complaint and he said I will be getting a call back within 3 hours but it’s about a week but I dint receive any call from them. And when I'm trying to call customer care on 111 and when in IVR it says press 9 to talk with customer representative and when I'm doing that it’s taking me to the main menu again. Now I don’t even have facility to contact customer care department also. This is how HUTCH treat its customers. It’s a very very very pathetic experience.

Vodafone — Customer support is not good.

Since, I have been using the IVR payments. I have requested receipts for the bill payments for company reimbursement, but the customer support Girl said, you must be having entry in your credit card statement, take it and show it to HR.

I don't know who is the trainer for this such irresponsible fellow.

Finally I got the receipts after from the vodafone shop, but I spend another RS. 100 for transportation.

Once again I paid for nothing....

Dear Vodafone support guys..before attending the call, please learn something abt the product you are supporting

I Yashodhan.V.Patil want to lodge a complaint against the vodafone regarding my payment which i have already paid but the same is not being reflected in vodafone databases. This is in regard my mobile number [protected] (Mumbai Number) which I already made payment of 470 Rs at Nagpur. I have the bill receipt with me moreover the bank statement where the amount has been deducted from my account. from the last 4 months I am getting the amount charged to me added in my account. I had gone to vashi Vodafone office on 22 September and showed him the bill transactions and they assured me that the amount would not be shown to me next time but each time I see the remaining amount plus the current bill amount. Last week too I had again gone to Vashi Vodafone office and told them the same problem and again they assured me that the amount would be updated but still in this month I am getting the amount plus the current bill amount. This issue is from last 4 months only and in between I had called many times to the customer executive appraising them of my problem but again they give false hopes.

I would request you to look into this issue ASAP. This is the case even after paying the amount. It has caused me lot of inconvenience, lots of phone calls to customer executives; thrice visiting the Vodafone office(vashi) still the issue has not been solved. I further request you to kindly look in this issue.
This is in regard with even submitting all the receipts and details of the payment at the Vodafone centers at vashi office and then still even after paying the bill I am facing such harassments from vodafone about the bill payment.

I would simply would like to lodge a complaint regarding this or I would like that some higher authority guy talks to me regarding this as many times I have submitted or talked to the customer care but nothing has been done till now and now its already more than 4 months and still the issue is not been solved.

For your reference I am again giving

Also I have the bank statement where the amount has been deducted from my icici bank. ECS card bill recpt statement.

Vodafone — Very poor Customer Care

I lost my cell and contacted Vodafone customer care for blocking the SIM.

And the customer care executive gave me an address of the nearest vodafone care centre. I went there and came to know that, the centre (which was a Hutch care shop)
was closed 1 year back :(

I took another connection. After 1 week they simply barred it.

I tried calling the customer care:
Got the following reply. The service is not available. "Please call 111 for the details"

(And I got this reply while dialling 111)

Then I called from another number and came to know that the number was blocked as they haven't got the proof of Identity. I had already submitted everything while taking the connection. And I believe it is their duty to collect it from the retailer.

Why the hell should I care :(

Lot many time all CCE says server is down or after shifting hutch to voda. no one is able to help in a proper manner either they don't know it or do not have rights to access information.


All i have to do go to nearest voda store,

If paying bills in the machine lot many rupees not accepted it through out.

If move inside voda store, have to wait at least 40 to 1 hour to sort out issue.(Voda store kamla nagar, near shakti nagar chowk)

vodafone services — BAD cust care and services

hi, i am a new vodafone user from lucknow using ph no. [protected]. A day after i got this new connection.. i recieved a mesg saying " you've successfully activated your caller tune service..." and another mesg shortly followed saying that i'll be charged Rs.30/- per month for this service, and some stupid hindi love song was running as my caller tune. whereas in the first place i never applied or even try to get a caller tune on my phone.

i called up cust care and was hoping for some help.. but all he could tell me was that money will be charged and please enjoy the song. i am working at a senior manager level for a MNC and i don't want my clients to listen to this stupid song when they call me..

howeber after much of requesting the customer care and trying to convince them that i'm not bothered about the Rs. 30/-, all i want is the caller tune be removed, he told me that only i can stop this caller tune by dialing 888. since then i've been trying to dial 888 but it alwyas says "network busy"!!

what do i do ?? is shifting from vodafone to another provider the only option left over with me ??
The Worst ever service through out my life is Vodafone. I am a Prepaid Customer who recharges Rs.[protected] every month, without any reason/request there was a pack activated, which cost me Rs. 30, & right from that day I've been getting SMS from "Lovezone", Not only this there Channel Parteners are also like them. On 11-12-08, a rep from Hinson Corporation(Postpaid), Okhla-2, ND took Rs. 250 against a Postpaid Sim, & I was not given full info abt the Scheme, but later after cominf to know abt the conditions I declined & requested the caller from Verifcation Deptt. to contact/inform "Hinson Corporation(Postpaid), Okhla-2", to return my Rs. 250 & take Sim Card i.e. still packed as it was received. No action. I have called 4 different No's of "Hinson Corporation(Postpaid), Okhla-2", but all of them are frogs of the same well, so it is obvious that no support had been given. I have been trying to dial 111 that has not let me to talk to a Rep to report my grievance, for more than 15-20 days.. [protected].Virendra

On 15.01.2009 a message was sent to me by the Vodafone that an amount of Rs. 30/- has been deducted from my account because of I activate the Astrology Alerts. But, I am saying that I never activate any type of Alerts ever. I said this to Vodafone Customer Care but they just dont want to agree with me & presenting gossips in front of me. Now, what can I do at this moment. Can I get my balance of Rs. 30/- because I never activate Astrology Alerts.

I have been cheated by offering a Thankyou Card. I was told that that would be beneficial for me but my entire Plan was revised and call rates etc were increased and offered lower STD Call rates which i never use. Despite various complaints at Customer Care at 111 the executives are non cooperative and express their inability to revert back to my Old Plan.

they are not activate my new post conection. for last 2 week i called daily but they are not give me any response.

One lady make a call to me and convance to a plan her no is [protected], [protected]. after one day One person is comming at my office and after fillup the form i give him 600 Rs. Form No 045. according the plan. his no is [protected].
