Vodafone — Prohibitively high rates of calls made/received
The call charges (both ways) of Vodafone are excessively high and prohibitive. There is no system of redressal of any Vodafone problems, including billing pattern/modalities. If any email is sent to Vodafone, only automatic replies with false promises are received. The un-responsive TRAI also is not bothered.What is strange is that, despite India's sovereign supremavy within our own borders, these foreign outfits should be allowed too ignore CAG's requisition for their accounts and these companies should find India as the safest haven to fleece customers, with no intervention from TRAI!

Vodafone — Harrassment and Cheating
What a third class company you are running where higher management is least concerned or bothered about what your executives and managers are doing with the customers in the loop of customer care or customer satisfaction. My name is Sharul Chandna and im getting harassed by your company's different departments for the Vodafone connection which I bought for the very first time in my life, and faced like hell in this one week.My major concern is, I was offered a plan from your sales department for 299 postpaid connection on 6th of may, with the scheme which was going on at that time and your agent said that it was last day of it and he convinced me to buy that.
I bought it on the same day provided all my documents such as identification proof, address proof and my photograph on time with cash of Rs 250, for which I have the receipt dated 06/05/2010.
The scheme that was going on at that time, in which 4 things were there which I was told 1.LCD, 2.Digital Camera, 3.Traveling Bag, 4. Wall Clock. your agent said that I will get any one from these for sure.
After that I got verification calls every time I confirmed about the scheme they said yes it is their. Our executive will come at your place for physical address verification, he will provide you with the scratch card and you can redeem that form any Vodafone outlet and your Phone# will get activated within 24 to 48 hours…Whole one week has gone im getting false information from everybody. instead of expecting calls from your department I am calling you 3-4 times a day. either they put me on hold for long because I asked them to speak to their manager.
Your all executives are very harsh and irresponsible, all the time they just hang up the call in between when I was saying something. no body has taken this matter seriously yet.
Talked to Verification department with agent Puneet on #[protected]
Talked to Customer Care Department with many agents Neeti, Santosh, Rahul. Sup.Amit on customer care #...all did not talk and responded properly put me hold for long and after that simply hang up the call in between.
Plan and Schene Offered nad discussed by your salesman Abhay on # [protected] he gave me his personal# for any query.
Sim delivered by rahul # [protected], he provided me with receipt on 6th may.
I want you to take this matter very seriously and I would appreciate if this matter will be resolved ASAP and my no. will get activated within 24 hrs.
If some manager or senior person will read this E- mail and revert me back on the same mail id or on my phone # [protected] that would be appreciated, otherwise Im going to file Harassment and Cheating case against Vodafone as per Consumer Act 1965.

Vodafone — ERRONEOUS DISCONNECTION OF MY OUTGOING CALLS
I am a customer of orange,hutch and now vodafone for over 10 yrs now and have a excellentrecord so far. My primary mobile no. is [protected]. I have never written or had any complaint
till the other day and i feel this requires some serious introspection by the Vodafone customer service
department. Last month, as my usual practice has been i paid the bill much before the due date
and the said cheque was cashed by Vodafone as reflected in my bank statement. However what
followed is really shameful and unprofessional. I was flooded with a series of calls and sms's to
make payment of the bill and i even faxed a copy of my bank statement to one of the representatives.
However on 4th May my outgoing was disconnected. I made several calls to the call centre before this
date asking to speak to the supervisor but in vain. I would get a reply that the supervisors are busy
and will call back in 2 hours which they never did. Following the intervention of the nodal officer my
line was restored after 32 hours following which i lodged an official written complaint by mail demanding
a written explanation. In reply to this all i get is a call from a call centre employee saying that this wont
happen again. Now what i demand to know is why was my line disconnected in the first place when
Vodafone already had cashed my cheque and your team has not updated the same? Why was i
harassed and flooded with calls for a fault at your end? Vodafone very well knows that had this been some
other country they would have been sued for the same and because of the time consuming legal system
in India i assume the attitude of Vodafone towards a genuine and bonafide customer can afford to be
so disrespectful and laid back? THIS CANNOT BE ALLOWED TO HAPPEN AND SOMEBODY ACCOUNTABLE MUST GIVE A REPLY OR TAKE SOME ACTION.
