I want to register the complain against India today. I am receiving sms on daily basis from India Today. It says about some offer. I do not want to receive this message at all. I do not know how these guys got my mobile number. Is there any way I can un-subscribe to these spam messages.

Vodafone — Recharge with WCC 149

I have got a message from your customer care in my phone no.[protected] on 26/8/2009 regarding WCC 149 plan, get Rs 135 talk time on 0.75 paisa for STD &validity 2 months but when i recharge it from vodafone mini store (Transaction id no.KO[protected]) I got only Rs 10.13 and one year validity.

Vodafone — Change of address without consent and disclosing personal information to third party.

I have been using a vodafone connection since 2005 and my address was registered with a proof of documents according to the normal protocal of the company to Borivali.In January 2009, 9 friends and myself requested for a change of plan to the new GROUP TALK 50.For the activation of this service no documents were required as we all were existing users but after not receiving the bills i contacted Vodafone Care.They asked me to go to the vodafone store for further inforamtion and were of no help as my security details did not match. On going to the Vodafone Store I was asked to submit my address proof again and was told that my address had been changed to RAJDHANI REST., INORBIT MALL, MALAD WEST, MUMBAI 400 064(A place were i have never worked and have no documents of) .After a week I submitted the same and was promised that from the next billing cycle my bills will be sent to my Borivali address.The next month(March 2009) I didnot recieve my bill again and this time I started getting around 4 calls daily from the Billing Departent asking me to pay my due amount or else my connection would be disconnected.So without having any proof of what services i had used and on the basis of the phone call i made a payment at the Vodafone Store.The next month(April 2009) the same problem continued and I would made numerous calls to Vodafone Care regarding my address and I would be told that my requested in being processed and that it wouldn't take longer.The next month(May 2009) again my bill was sent to a wrong address and this time round i decded not make a payment till I recieved my bill, so they happilly disconnected the service to my number.So because of compulsion and one more false promise i made my bill payment.
Now this is the month of September (8 MONTHS) and the same problem is going on.Me being a student don't have the time to visit the Vodafone Store every week to check upon a mistake which is not mine.I have spoken with a Coustumer Care Executive for atleast 30-40 time and the same problem yet continues.
When my service had started with Vodafone I had requested for a itemised bill i.e. detailed bill with information on calls made to all the numbers and the time and duration of the call, Details of messages sent and services used. All this information was disclosed to a third party (RAJDHANI RESTAURANT) as my bills were sent to them.
This month(August 2009), I have not made a payment and will not make a payment till justice is served for the mental and physical torture.
