Vodafone — Old lifetime number not being reactivated cause the store wants to sell it off as a premium number

Dear Sir / Madam,

What course of action do I have against Vodafone specifically the Andheri (West) Vodafone store - Manager Sunil Naidu. I have an old so called "Lifetime Prepaid" number which got elapsed in March 2009. I went to the store to reactivate the same I was informed I can reactivate the number as post paid on payment of Rs. 350 (Rs.200 deposit plus Rs.150 monthly rental) which I did on 9th September 2009. Now I am being told by the store that the number is not available. Whereas if I call that number it says"temporarily disconnected". The customer care people say that the documents have not reached them hence the number is not activated. Which means the Andheri (West) Vodafone store is holding back my number to sell it at a premium of Rs.5000 to someone else. Since it is a Gold / Silver category number.

What action can I take against the store / manager ? How can I reach to the officials in the main office to take this further. Please advise.

Sir, we have booked 8 sim cards at Vodafone, opp Sai Petrol Pump, Bhayander (E). Our SP No. is 88D/09-10/8P01/8429; 30 respectively. We have submit every document required from passport, pan card, voter's card, Bank Of Baroda's statement (Andheri Branch), ICICI bank's statement (Mira Road Branch), as they keep changing their requirements, and cash Rs350/- on each sim, total Rs2800/-. Our every document was verified properly and was OK. They came for verification and told us our sim's will be activated in 1-2hrs, but they took 27-28hrs, and activated just 4 sim's. More problems, they give us our one contact no. (sim no.) wrong. After few hrs they disconnected our 4 lines. Their senior in charge Sheldon says our Rs20/- stamp paper is not accepted, but it has Police NOC on it, what more they want? They are charging Rs500/- on each sim no. We went to Kanakiya police stn, shared our problem with attendant officer Chougle. He was continuously trying to both nos. of Vodafone Gallery (Bhayander), but they did not response.
