Dear Sir,
my complaint is regarding GPRS service of Vodafone. I was using Rs 99 monthly GPRS plan of vodafone till last month. But as I had to visit outside the Mumbai last month, I took Airtel GPRS monthly plan on my Airtel number because Airtel's service is available on roaming also and vodafone service is not available on roaming as told by their customer care deptt and they charge according to per KB usage. I was using both the sim cards alternatively on a single handset (Asus P527 Windows mobile) by changing the vodafone sim with Airtel sim when to use the GPRS. For safety purpose I deleted Vodafone settings (Access point :- portalnmps) and done permanent settings of Airtel (Access point :- airtelgprs.com) on my handset. But on 20th July 2011 night, by mistake I connected my mobile to my computer without changing my vodafone sim card and service started. Within 1 hr, all of my balance, which was around Rs 180 eroded and my balance came to Rs -4 and service terminated. Then I realised that I was using service on Vodafone. My complaint is that with the settings of Airtel how could my Vodafone internet service start with wrong settings or no settings. It was something, which never happened with my handset. This is some system related problem at Vodafone's end. I made several complaints with their customer care no 111 and 198 but they always said that their system is not working or slow and transferred my call to technical department and disconnected it every time. Then I went personally went to Kharghar Vodafone gallery on July 21st evening but they suggested me to go to Vashi gallery as they don’t have the facility to check the problem at their end. My question is that why should I roam from here and there leaving my all other works. At least they should have lodged my complaint but they denied even for that. For their mistakes why should I suffer? Plz make arrangements for refund of my talk time, that is my only demand. Thanking you

Thank you for replying my mail. First of all, I am sorry as you were unable to contact me on my vodafone no, I am not using this no as to prevent me from further deduction of the talk value due to faulty start of GPRS service and I am not going to charge any topup on this number till this problem gets resolved. I have given you my airtel no, you could contact me on this no.
Secondly as per your suggestion that the settings for these applications are pre-defined on the handset by the manufacturer, I want to mention this fact for your notice that after this incidence, I tried several times to start the GPRS service on my Airtel sim after deleting the airtel settings but it didn't start and I can demonstrate this to you too. And before that incidence of talk time deduction as I mentioned in my mail, several times by mistake I tried to start the GPRS service without removing the vodafone sim card on airtel settings but it didn't initiate.
I want to mention you that my handset (Asus P 527 windows mobile) has no applications which auto refresh /update by connecting through the WAP gateway (Wireless Application Protocol) i.e. VL/VMC as proved by the incidences given in the para 2 of this mail.
Therefore, pl try to check these details and you can check the description of the handset i.e. Asus P 527 at your end also.

We wish to inform you that GPRS is a default service. If the settings are saved or are predefined in your handset by the manufacturer, you will be able to use Vodafone live (VL) service/Vodafone mobile connect and will be charged 10 paisa / 10 KB.
Also, if your handset has applications which auto refresh /update by connecting through the WAP gateway (Wireless Application Protocol) i.e. VL/VMC, you will be charged accordingly. Here again, the settings for these applications are pre-defined on the handset by the manufacturer.
We request you to kindly remove the application or modify the auto updation in your handset to avoid any further charges. Please refer to your handset manual or check with the service Centre of the handset provider.
Mr. Srivastava, we wish to inform you that Vodafone live 99 offer was activated on 29/05/11 and free 2GB was utilized on 24/06/11 and usage done post 24/06/11 has been charged as 10p/10kb we confirm that the total charges levied for Vodafone live/Vodafone mobile connect usage, are indeed accurate. Hence, we are unable to reverse any GPRS Usage charges.
We wish to inform you that you can certainly avail the Itemized bill facility by sending sms as BILL <space> month to 144 Rs.49 applicable to validate the charges.

Vodafone — Deduction of talktime without GPRS settings

Yesterday on July 26th 2011, evening I received a call from Vodafone, in which, Mr Saumitra told me that the company can’t reverse the talk time which was cut without GPRS settings, the complaint, which I made in the below mails. Their point of view according to Mr Saumitra is that as I have used internet, the amount can’t be reversed. Their logic is that it can’t happen without settings. I was also under this impression till this incidence. Atleast they have accepted that this is not the handset problem, which, I was trying to tell them. But this incidence has already happened and I want to again state the fact that at that time there were no Vodafone settings on the handset. The stubborn behaviour of the company can’t solve the problem; they need to investigate into the matter as there can be some technical or manual problem at their end.
I am not satisfied with their response and demand more action from them and I appeal consumer forum to take heed in to the matter.

hello sir,
i had been using this vodafone for since 5 months took in hyderabad, i had taken this sim just because of its good internet speed, n yeah it was working very nice, after that i shifted to orissa, i was using the same hyd sim here, and the sim was working gr8, , but few days before ie. on 11th august 2011 my sim stopped to connect, inspite of having all the gprs settings required for the connection, i had been calling the customer care executives around several time, n i had wasted around 200 to 300 bucks for talking to the customer care guys, n so far i've not got any solution for this, , plz plz plz help me out, coz its very urgent and right now we don't have any nearest vodafone care here, to take the help from them, my handset model is NOKIA-5130 and my phone number is +91-[protected], while using the phone browser, the error it is showing is "PACKET DATA CONNECTION NOT AVAILABLE" and while connecting to my laptop, the error it is showing is like "FAILED TO ESTABLISH A NETWORK CONNECTION", n my email is n.[protected]@gmail.com, i'll be waiting for the solution..

      MY MOBILE N0.[protected] - ON 21.10.12 AROUND 13.49 HRS I HAVE INADVERTENTLY TOUCHED SOMEWHERE IN MY SAMSUNG PHONE AND "TV ALL CHANNEL PACK" IS ACTIVATED AND DEDUCTED RS.150/- FROM MY BALANCE. IMMEDIATELY AFTER RECEIVING THE MSG I HAVE SENT REQUEST FOR DEACTIVATION AND MSG RECEIVED AT 13.52 HRS ON 21/10 CONFIRMING DEACTIVATION. SINCE I HAVE NOT RECEIVED BACK THE AMOUNT DEDUCTED FROM MY ACCOUNT, I HAVE MADE CALLS ON '111' ON WHICH NO COMLAINT LODGING FACILITY IS THERE. IN THE MEANTIME ANOTHER DEDUCTION EFFECTED. RS.5 DEDUCTED FOR INTERNATIONAL MARCH DAY PACK AT AROUND 14.44 HRS, AFTER SEEING THE MSG SAYING THIS PACK WILL BE ACTIVE TILL DEACTIVATION IS EFFECTED AND RS.5/- PER DAY WILL BE DEDUCTED (WITHOUT EVEN ASKING FOR IT). THEN ANOTHER MSG CAME SAYING THIS PACK WILL BE ACTIVE TILL I DO NOT ASK FOR DEACTIVATION. IMMEDIATELY AFTER THAT I SENT MSG AND I RECEIVED BACK THE MSG CONFIRMING DEACTIVATION.

      SINCE EVEN AFTER DEACTIVATING THE ABOVE TV PACK IMMEDIATELY AFTER WRONGLY ACTUVATED (WITHIN 3 MINUTES I GOT CONFIRMATION OF DEACTIVATION, WHICH MEANS WITHIN 1-MINUTE I HAVE ASKED FOR DEACTIVATION), YOU HAVE NOT REFUNDED THE AMOUNT DEDUCTED, I HAVE CONTACTED YOUR CALL CENTRE THRU "198" AROUND 15.15 HRS WHEN YOUR REPRESENTATIVE (MR KARTHIK) AFTER HEARING MY REQUEST INITIALLY SAID RS.5/- DEDUCTED CANNOT BE REVERSED, BUT RS.150/- DEDUCTED WILL BE REVERSED AND ASKED ME TO HOLD THE LINE. AFTER SOME TIME, HE SAID HE CANNOT REVERSE IT. ON INSISTING FOR A COMPLAINT NO. HE HAS GIVEN TICKET NO.[protected] AND TOLD ME THAT MY COMPLAINT WILL BE ADDRESSED BY SENIOR STAFF, WHO WILL BE CALLING ME OVER PHONE.

      ALTHOUGH I EXPECTED A CALL BACK, NO CALL CAME AND TWICE I GOT SMS ASKING "HELLOW, WERE YOU HAPPY WITH THE HELP OFFERED FOR YOUR TICKET NO.[protected]. PLS REPLY WITH Y OR N (LAST MSG TODAY 25/10/12 AROUND 13.56 HRS AND I HAVE REPLIED IMMEDIATELY AROUND 15.58 HRS STATING "NO, NOBODY CONTACTED YET".

      I WOULD REQUEST THE HIGHER OFFICIALS TO TAKE THIS MSG AS A COMPLAINT AND REVERT WITH A SOLUTION FOR THE ISSUE MENTIONED ABOVE.

        Dear Vodafone Team,

        my mobile number is [protected]. the June'11 month bill have totally
        incorrect figures.

        And am following up (through email) last 20 days but not get the solution or communication from vodafone.

        The problem is as below..
        Under monthly charges header, VMC charges are applied in advance for the
        period 24th june to 23rd july. Why?

        Secondly VMC usage is 46790kb and VL usage is 1010kb ie. 47800kb and its
        <51200kb(50mb) free in my plan; then why charged 478/- and then subtracted 256/-

        You have charged 478-256=222/- for VMC+VL while have used only 47mb
        which is less than 50mb(free in plan).

        wrong charges of sms is charged many times by different types and when asked from customer service they are also not able to give a satisfactory answer that why this is charged, caller tune change charges is charged without any reason.

        Vodafone — Incorrect charges not getting reversed

        I have been following up with Vodaphone Customer care at [protected] for past 4-5 months for reversal of incorrectly applied caller tune charges.
        They have kept giving me new request numbers every time I call them. Every time I am guaranteed to get a reversal in the next billing cycle, but the story keeps repeating, and no reversal seems to occur.

        Vodaphone should stop this cheap act of applying incorrect charges to its customers, OR in case the customer service staff is dumb, get them replaced by responsible staff.

        I have a Vodafone connection [protected] in the name of Vishal Sachdeva, H.no 173 khooh wali Gali Patti (Tarn Taran) i m facing such problem in my connetion that is first of all without my intimation somebody or ur system activated a Voice Chat Service on my a/c, And it is not possible that without making call or sending single msg to any IVR no Service will be activated, But now service is activated. to Deativate it i made call on 55121 and as per CSA in that IVR There is a option no 5 which is used to Deativate that service, but when i made call on it there is no any 5 no option ...Plz check it and find how the service is activated, and give satisfationary resolution because in this time i m very fedup from Vodafone services, i want Waiver for the same, even i wil go to Cunsomer court and disconnect my connection.

        I had sent the following letter to Vodafone:

        I visited Vodafone Gallery at 4 Bunglows, Andheri on 21/03/2010 to pay my Bill for Feb 2010 and to convert the Post paid into Prepaid;
        Vodafone representative suggested that there are better schemes available and that I should not convert Postpaid into Prepaid;
        Vodafone representative convinced me that Rs 299 Talktime Plan ( Free Talktime for Rs 299/-) alongwith Rs 149/- unlimited SMS Pack will reduce my Bill;
        As convinced by the Vodafone representative , I agreed to opt for Rs 299/- Free Talktime Plan and Rs 149/- unlimited SMS Pack;
        At the Vodafone Gallery itself I asked your Vodafone representative whether the above Plans have been activated and he confirmed activation of the said Plans;
        On 23/03/2010, I received an SMS on my Mobile that based on my request the Plan has been changed;
        Thereafter, on 24/03/2010 at 16:46:10 I called up Vodafone Customer Care on 111 to confirm that my Rs 299/- Free Talktime Plan and Rs 149/- Unlimited SMS Plan has been activated. YOUR VODAFONE REPRESENTATIVE CONFIRMED THAT BOTH THE SAID PLANS HAVE BEEN ACTIVATED;
        Thereafter, believing that you have activated both the plans , I have sent lots of SMS`s;
        I am shocked that Vodafone Bill dated 04/04/2010 shows that I have been charged for SMS;
        Pls note that based on your suggestion that I have not converted Postpaid into Prepaid and have opted for both the said Plans;
        This amounts to false misrepresentation and cheating on your part ;

        After the Letter Vodfone Representative called me up to tell that the wrong charges are being reversed.

        However Vodafone did not send me revised bill .

        On my calling up Customer Care for revised bill they said that I SHOULD PAY THE COMPLETE BILL AMOUNT INCLUDING THE WRONG CHARGE AND THE SAID WRONG CHARGES WILL BE REVERSED IN THE NEXT BILL. MY QUESTION IS WHY SHOULD I PAY SOME MONEY WHICH I DON`T OWE AND WHICH VODAFONE HAS ACKNOWLEDGED THAT I DON`T OWE THEM.

        IT IS VODAFONES DUTY TO SEND ME REVISED BILL STATING THE CORRECT BILL AMOUNT DUE FROM ME.
        From last one months i am receiving call from different person regarding why you are making miscall but in fact i had not made any call from my mobile. Two before i talk with customer care person and tell them there is some problem in your systems because when i was not making any call to any one why my number is reflecting in there mobile but the smart customer care person tell me that ther is no problem in our system. Today i received a sms regarding that your caller tune facility is activated and Rs. 30/- is decducted from the balance but in fact i had deactived this facility by making a sms on 01/04/2010 and then after i had not made any sms or call regarding the activation of caller tune. Today again i had conversation with the smart customer care person and they tald me that from you phone you had made a call on 123 for activation of caller tune and this was shown in there records then i told them you just check your system because there is some problem in your system because after talking with the smart guy i had come to know about the 123 call facility. I requested them a lot regarding refund of Rs. 30/- and also inquired about how this is possible that when i am not making any call to any one my number is reflacting in some other persons mobile. But the smart guys tell me that it is not our systems problem so forget Rs. 30/-.

        I 've already mail sended to vodafonecare but till not resolved my problem, and right now my mobile numbers outgoing has stoped and i m facing very big problem b'coz this is my companys CUG number so pls it's humble request to you pls resolved my problem..

        i am a vodafone consumer.today they charge Rs 45 on my number for activation of caller tune.and i not activate any caller tune.i just call a aircel number and even the call not picked than also they charged amount for subscribing and slection of caller tune.please take legal steps and refund my amount.i also want compemnsation for this misguiding.

        I have Vodafone connection ([protected]; Plan 199) for about 5 years. As I am moving to a new state, I asked them to change my plan to advance rental plan ( Plan 449). Before they could charge for advance rental they have charged me the CLIP charges on my account without asking me and they are replying late to me through mails and the next billing cycle is about to begun and I would be charged late fee. I asked Vodafone to deactivate CLIP charges, credit the amount charged, and also not charge me with late fine as they had delayed in replying.
        i have two vodafone prepaid nos.[protected] and [protected] i have been charged Rs.30 missed call alert charges on both numbers but i have not requested for same.So i want refund of my paid amount.

        I am sudarshan and am using vodfone service of internet pack Rs.95 per month, 4 days before expiry of this offer i will get a renewal message containing of your offer is going to continue if you want cancel this service reply to this number.(Example:my offer expiry as on August 22, On August 18 i will get the sms , if i cannot send any reply for cancel the offer it should be automatically renewed by the sevice provider,if sufficient balance was available).But in my case it was not happend and i used the internet in normal offer on August 23 and i loss my Rs.304.After this on same day i spoke with customer care executive, he told me that the wrong charges against my problem should be refundable within 24 hours by giving a referance number[protected],but i am not get the money after 48 hours also.So am again called customer care executive they are saying that the charges are wright so,it should be not refundable.So kindly do the needful for my problem as soon as possible.

        Recently Vodafone has charged Rs 30 in my vodafone bill for downloading MOBILART_VALUEPACK-30.and Rs 49 for dwap_wal_0049_ppu_fut00130. But I have never downloaded such value pack from from their site or any other site. I strongly protest against such forceful charges by the company. I demand that vodafone must remove such charges from my bill. Please STOP such illegal charges without consent of consumer. My vodafone no [protected]. I want to get back the balance.

        I had a corporate connection with plan of Rs. 375 and my number is [protected]. I have not subscribed for any value added service still I got a message for activation of 2 VAS services- one is Glamour zone pack that was activated on 1/June and for which they charged Rs.90 while the other is ZEEDITTO that was activated on 22/June and charges for which is Rs.35.

        Apart from this I got my bill for 27/05/2015 to 04/06/2015.The bill amt is Rs.212.92. My sim was activated on 27/05/2015 and my plan is of Rs.375 the how can you send the bill of such amount for 9 days.

        I request you to look into the matter and kindly refund my amount for wrong charges of VAS services as I had never subscribed for any such service.

          hello sir,
          this is to bring to your kind notice that i opted to change my current mobile number from from prepaid to postpaid about 2 months ago. the vodafone representative came to my office and collected all the relevent documents and the fees(Rs. 250) as the activation charges. in return he issued me the new sim card saying that the existing sim will be blocked by evening and the new sim will be activated.
          It's been 2 months, nothing has been done.
          there's been no support both from the customer care and the vodafone store side.
          i have received many a calls for conformation of identity but the number is still not converted to postpaid.
          even the customer care people say that they do not have any information and i need to go to the vodafone store. when i went to the store, they said that it'll be activated within 72 hrs.
          it's been 2 weeks since then..
          i have received couple of calls saying that my number is going to be activated within 2 hrs...but nothing has been done..

          please provide a solution..

          Vodafone — non activation of sim card

          i had got my blocked sim replaced on saturday after submitting all the required documents at vodafone customer care centre at punjabi bagh,with the assurance that it would get updated in 2-4 hrs .but till date even after calling the customer care a no of times my sim is still blocked and the customer care executives now want me to come again and get a new sim issued(which takes around 2-3 hrs ,at there centre due to non availability and incooperation of the staff)
          i have even sent a mail to there nodal centres of which i have not yet received any reply .even there phone calls are not getting picked up.
          can i know how is this company so happy in frustating customers and who will pay for the loss of my time and money due to there fault (they say it is a technical fault ,which they do not tell to their customers)

THe generated UPC No Is EV365582 As per Concern I have Submitted The all Necessary Documents To The Vodafone Store Burdwan. To Get the connection.
            I got the new sim from there & they Told me that the new Sim Will Be activated on[protected] PM onwards..
            But Till Now It has not been Activated yet The Reliance Sim Also Stopped Working..
            In This Situation My No Totally Off.
            And An Error Message is Showing on the both Sim card there That Is "Sim Card Registration Failed ''
            If Anyone Trying to call me there are noticed "Please Check The Number"," This Is Not a Valid No."

            I want a to reactivate the sim card as early as possible please give me a straight response.

After 15 days trouble i go to the vodafone store there they give me new connection and activate new sim and said when you received call for your old connection you to say i did not activate my old connection [protected]. but i have not received any call from vodafone care. but after 20 days they mailed me we have activated your old sim connection. when i said i don&#039;t want to activate this sim. they said please contact your company IIFL. please do the needful.


                my company is not involved because when i applied this old connection they did not take any approval from our company side. So if i am not using this sim why i and my company paid bill for this.

                  there was issue with vodafone where I took msg pack of Rs. 59/- and was enjoying their 25k free messages since oct-nov. but in Mar 22nd bill I found there were extra sms charges of Rs. 1766/- out of sms pack as per vodafone they says sms pack activated on 22nd Mar but this service was activated in oct-nov I have all bills with me...I got so many calls from their executive from mar till end of june that they will waive off 1766/- amount but no luck....hence I had to deactivate the no. once someone called and said to me that Vodafone will bear 50% and I had to bear 50% of Rs. 1766/- I was ready for that also. but nobody turned up with solution and last week vodafone disconnected my official phone which is also vodafone. lastly to save my official no. I had to pay Rs. 2000/- pls look into this I would like to attach here with all my bills but failed due to only can b attached as png, jpg or gif but I have all bills in PDF format.

                  vodafone charged sms amount for march month. we were not aware that Vodafone had disconnected my msg pack...so what is my fault.

                    today, 19,07,2011, at 10:11 a.m. while i was sleeping,i got a call from [protected] saying i hav won 10 lac INR in some lucky draw held by vodafone n airtel. the guy said i need to claim through punjab national bank n he asked me to note down a number. i cut the call that very moment. after whn i woke up, i realised i heard some kind of tone while i was on conversation with him. may b that tone was because he ws tracking my phone..:/
                    so guys, beware of such fraud calls.. do not pick any number starting from +9234

( Order ID : 07805641, Payment transaction id ; MSBI[protected], high security password : 33362563, email : vodafonecare.[protected]@vodafone.com / [protected]@vodafone.co.in) after doing every process i have received transaction id & high security password for payment online. i had type the high security password & then again i got message on my mobile that the amount of 250/- has been deducted from my account. but till date i have not received the recharge balance on my mobile. Also i had received email to my yahoo account that recharging has done successfully. I also make the complaint on customer care of vodafone, but till date they had not responded. this has not happen first time . previously 3 times i had face the same problem. i did not understand what is to be happen over here. i think vodafone service providers are just try to looting the poor people. The online recharges & such type of services are made for our convenience of time consuming. but if this is the lootmar then who will help the poor people. kindly look into the matter seriously. because for me Rs. 250/- is more to spend on phone.

                        vodafone BIS is not active. any "edge" singal nor "GPRS" in capital can be seen. its showing "gprs" in small. since 17th midnite. am not able to browse the internet. manual setting has also been done. bis399 is already deducted frm my account n i got a msg for the same as well. customer care fail to help me instead they repeat the same things like reboot your phone n all again n again.. they're not able even identify the problem properly.. very poor service of vodafone customer care.. i have wasted my whole day n now completely frustrated n fedup..

                          hi sir my name is imran khan i had a connection of vodafone internet due to low speed i requsted to disconnected my connection company send person .he collect amount of bill and full and final forum to disconnect my connection.they already disconnected my connection.but after that month they send me another bill. i told them that i have got disconnected my net already but they told me that if i will not pay bill they will disconnect my mobile connection.this month company sent me another bill.i did not pay this bill now they disconnected my mobile connection.becouse they disconnected my connection so i will not continue my no and will not pay any bill.

                            I had taken a plan for Vodafone live( rs. 200 rental) in the month of June. I had repeatedly asked the Vodafone people if this plan activated in the middle of the bill cycle would hold valid for the entire bill cycle and every time I got the answer in affirmative. Based on this I had got the plan activated. Now when the bill has been generated I am being forced to pay around Rs.600 excess, saying that the plan holds true only for the 15 days of the month.

                            Also, other than this excess amount, I have also been wrongly charged for the week from 27th may -3rd June, in spite of the fact that my bill cycle starts from 4th June.

                            To add to all this, the people at the customer care Vodafone are so ill mannered and callous, that they put me on hold 3 times, for around 15 minutes each, and then conveniently disconnected the call. Also, when I wished to speak to the supervisors, they were unreachable. The height of disrespect was that one of the supervisors called Mr. Junaid refused to come online to even listen to the complaint.

                            I would like to inform Vodafone that this kind of behavior with the customers is unacceptable and I demand a reversal/new bill generation.

                            I am sorry to say but I have still not got a satisfactory response from the Vodafone team. They still expect me to foot such a huge bill that has come as a result of their callousness and irresponsible behaviour. I hereby refuse to pay any such bill and would go ahead with lodging a complaint of the amount of mental harrasement that they have been causing me due to their unprofessional behaviour.

                            Vodafone — False information resulting to huge billing

                            Vodafone customer care said i will get 3gb of gprs usage for a month, if it says 3gb then indeed it has to be that. They have to follow up the word 3gb per month with subject to fair usage for it to be anything other than that. I would call Vodafone up and ask them to detail when my contract will get activated as i was eager to use it, they said after 1 or 2 days it will start .So that means that i was entitled to use 3gb free of cost.

                            I got a bill on which i enquired and they said that i have to pay around 16000 rupees for using internet.They will have a complaints department and I asked to speak with them. I even went to vodafone store near kamla nagar to do that. They responded to me with their reasoning of the bills that i will not get 3gb discount but only a part of it because i used it for only 17 days.They didn't give me a resolution to my issue that i had not been informed about how i will only get a part of the 3gb discount .I feel they have been charging me incorrectly and they must give me a revised bill because they hid all the billing information from me.

                            If still they force me to pay the bill i want to talk to the officer who regulate mobile telephone providers who are completely independant and are not tied to any telephone providers so they would give me a fair response and to which Vodafone have to comply with.

                            They don't give anything in writing when i demand to do so.

                            I want to speak directly to someone who cares for the customers and are not biased with these telecom operators.

                            Waiting for a response. God help me.

I have been wrongly charged of 2000 Rs for GPRS connect, although I have been activated the unlimited data plan for GPRS connectivity. Basically I was misguided by customer care and Vodafone executive regarding the unlimited GPRS plan services on my mobile. I was keep confirming the plan details and usage of GPRS setting from customer care after activating the new GPRS plan and using the services as per thier guidance and still I have got a access amount of 2000 Rs. in my current month bill.

                              Now customer care executive is not ready to take complaint and saying the charges are correctly levied on my bill.

                              Please guide me where my issue can be resolved.

                                I recharged with Bonus card Rs.41, in that it is clear cut mention that

                                Call Local [protected]@20p/min, Other [protected]@40p/min & [protected]@50p/min with RC 41.Daily 150 local sms free. Tariff Validity-1 year. Tariff applicable in homezone only.

                                But it is observed that, still i am getting all loc [protected]@50p/min, for your reference i am sending the snap shot of information available in vodafone web site. I am not happy at all with vodafone. Several times i called to vodafone care , they are telling that, it is tower base tariff. see the snap shot of vodafone website, no ever else it is mention that, it is tower base tariff.

                                Please take a look into this matter and do the necessary action

                                I was about to recharge for this, can you let me know what the correct plan, is it applicable to existing or only new sim card user.
                                Vodafone is the no.1 Cheating company, as per the website information available i recharge the bonus card, but still my tariff plan is not working accordingly...

                                I have recharged my Vodafone mobile through online on 02/Oct/2011.For Bonus Card 32
                                This gives the details as:

                                Benefit Local Vodafone calls at 30p/min, Other Local calls at 40p/min. STD at 50p/min. Daily 100 Local & National SMS Free.
                                Validity 90days

                                But they are charging Rs.1 for 1st 2 SMS. This is not mentioned in the offer detail.
                                I had informed the customer care executive, but they tell its TRAI rules to charge for SMS. If that’s the case what does the Bonus Card 32 mean and even that don’t specify Rs.1 for 1st 2 SMS. This is a day light Robbery.
                                Ya... Friend.. i have a good experience with Vodafone... Totally they are cheating the Public... And Most important thing, i complaint to TRAI about this... but still no action has been taken against this... This is totally corruption is going on everywhere in INDIA...

                                  Due to signal problem in my new place of residence, I wished to switch from Vodafone to Airtel using MNP scheme, after 4 years of my association with Vodafone. The initial portability request was filed around 75 days ago. From then on, around 4 requests have been given to switch the network, but Vodafone is reluctant in deactivating their services to me.

                                  When contacted over helpline (198), repeated excuses like "wait for 24 more hours, we are processing your request or wait till 11pm tonight, you can definitely switch to Airtel then..." have been received. In the past two months, over 20-30 hours of my time have been spent with Vodafone care. Recently the Vodafone has accused Airtel for not verified my documents and sent request from their part. But the actual case is not so, when contacted Airtel.

                                  As per TRAI regulation, everything is clear and no hindrance exist on Vodafone part in deactivating my service. But till date they have not proceeded with.

                                  I plan to file a complaint with TRAI and a case in my district consumer court to get my problems duly addressed and to seek justice for the pain and disgust caused during the period of last 3 months, if the action has not been taken by today (18 July 2011) evening by Vodafone.

                                  I still hope that Vodafone would not allow me to suffer anymore by taking appropriate action with immediate effect.

                                  Eagerly awaiting for a favorable response and action.

                                      my service provider is vodafone. i have opted 3g services from vodafone long back.i have specially purchased 3g enabled mobile. however vodafone has miserably failed to start 3g services. i have contacted on [protected] so many times. they said that they have enabled the 3g services and started charging for the same.in my mobile even today i find edge connectivity and not 3g.
                                      this is simply fooling the customers. after talking on [protected] for about 30 minutes nothing is concluded. then one mr.nilesh told to get my complaint registered on 111. i have that tried also.this is chargeable call. but even adter 20 minutes i was on hold and did not receive any reply from vodafone.this is really disgusting. company like vodafone can do this??? it is unbelievable. for ur record i am giving my phone specifications

                                        Hi,

                                        I am an 5 year old postpaid customer of Vodafone (number [protected]). Recently, I migrated from Postpaid to prepaid because of moving out of Bangalore. I submitted all the documents (PAN card and DL copy) along with prepaid customer form at Vodafone store Indiranagar (Bangalore) on 18-Jun-2011. The store guy himself took the xerox copies of the original documents and issued me the microSIM card. But even after 10 days the connection was not activated. I visited the Koramangala Vodafone store on 30-Jun-2011. There, the store guy replaced the microSIM card with new one and activated it. All the services were working perfectly till 8-Jul-2011. But on 09-Jul-2011 suddenly the outgoing service stopped (including vodafone customer care number 111). When I asked the Vodafone customer care by calling from external number, they said there is some issue with documents. That time I was travelling outside Bangalore. On asking what kind of issue was with the documents they had no answer and asked me visit vodafone store. Even when I informed them that I am not in Bangalore and can send the documents via email (if possible) but they did not give any email id to forward the documents.

                                        Again on 16-Jul-2011, vodafone stopped the incoming service as well. On asking about the issue, customer care told that the documents are not updated in the database and may be misplaced. They said they will rectify the issue and will resume the service in few hours. But again they did not show any courtesy to call me on another alternate number given to them. When called again to the vodafone customer care, they started asking me to visit the vodafone store even when they knew I was in Delhi and couldn't travel to Bangalore suddenly just to submit the documents agian.

                                        Now the question is:
                                        1) Is this customer's fault if Vodafone store guys misplace the documents or do not update the documents' details in their database ?
                                        2) Is this not the duty of Vodafone to at least intimate the customer well before so the customer can have time to resubmit the documents or make some other arrangements?
                                        3) Can't Vodafone help customers to submit the documents via some channel like email, if the customer is ready the resubmit the documents but travelling outside ?

                                        As I have already said, I am not in Bangalore for long duration and therefore can't visit Vodafone store in Bangalore. If you are saying that you haven't received the documents then the big question is how can your Vodafone store issue the microSIM card without submitting the documents and again how can it activate it on complaint after 10+ days of issuing the SIM card? Why you do not check with Indiranagar Bangalore Vodafone store about this ? If you are asking me to come back just to resubmit the documents then it may not be possible for me atleast for another one month and I can't afford to let this issue unresolved for this long time especially when I have already submitted all the documents on time.

                                        Another thing, because I am 5 year old loyal customer of yours then why cant you check my all records and get this done?
