[Resolved]  Woodland Shoes — Manufacturing defects

Hi i had purchased a footwear from woodland chennai, for Rs2500 in december, i used it for a month and ten te strap had worn out and i returned it back to the store form where i had purchased it for repair its now one month and i still not got my footwear repaid, . the address of the shop is

I purchased one pair of woodland shoes (Model no.BC842110 CAMEL 41) from M/S: Aero Club Woodland Shop no. 21-22 Saharaganj Mall Hazratganj Lucknow on on 07.12.2010 in rupees 2795 (Cash Memo : 11966). Sole of both shoes got hole from shoe in region near the tip of the shoes just when I had used shoes only 5 times. Slowly more than half of sole got holes completely. I had to purchase new shoes for the purpose of my marriage and there was a lot of social humiliation as shoes gave away in one of my function. After paying so much money and facing social and mental trauma, I wish to get these defective shoes replaced. But shopkeeper from whom i purchased shoes said bluntly that we will not replace shoes and you do whatever you want to do.Please help me in getting my shoes replaced as, I don't want to break my trust in Woodland and nobody can sell defective things at such a high price and still not replace the grossly defective product. Wish to have positive response from the company to compensate for my social and economic sufferings due to defective shoes.

i have bought shoes on 01 april but when asked for bill they have not given and also they are selling thE product more than the MRP. I REQUEST YOU TO TAKE THE ACTION AGAINST THEM

footwear — manufacturing defect

i am saurabh sharma from indore in Madhya pradesh,i started to use woodlands productsabout 10 years backonwards.i purchased one footwear costing Rs 2300.00 about 3 months back,last week top portion (leather is cracked) of my footwear seperated. And my bill is lost . Today morning i visited the woodland showroom at mangal city vijaynagar indore and show them,they told me that bill is necessary to repair my footwear, then i asked to pay money for repair ,they told that is also not possible from company, so please give me suggestion what I will do

i took shoes some 3 years back in woodland showroom brigade road bangalore and it costs 2600... some days before i met with accident, and my shoes buckels are damaged.. i want to repir it. can u plz reply me back where to repair in bangalore... i lost the recipt ...

sandals — No updates on products given for manufacturing defect.

The Sandles which i bought had a manufactruing defects after using for 5days, So i have submitted the product for repairing on 09/05/2011.After 15days also i dont have any update on the product statsus.
Kindly update the status of my complaint.

I had purchased a pair of foot wear article no-4B0444107, color-BRN, Size-8 in first week of APRIL 2011 from Woodland showroom fromYAMUNA NAGAR (HARYANA). i paid Rs.3200 As soon as I started using them within in a 3DAYS finger grip torn .I submitted for repairing after 1 MONTH they returned back really it is horiable i felt to slap them with same.i gave to repair for my left leg but they repaired in both side.i think they want to change their name from woodland to [censored]ingland. PLZ CHANGE MY SHOES NO REPAIR

This refer to the subject, I felt the need to write this complaint:

I have bought a Woodland footwear model no. GC0135105 N via bill no. 5932 from one of your Franchise/Outlets on 16th December 2010 fro following address.

It was just within a week that I had problems with the stitching of the footwear. As I have shifted now from Kolkata to Zirakpur(Punjab), so I submitted the defective pair of shoes for replacement to your outlet here at Zirakpur. It took him more than a week and after this they told me that the shoes can't be replaced and they have done the proper fixing. I accepted these shoes but again a month later I had the same problems with the stiches of the footwear. Even this time again, I requested them to replace these faulty pair of shoes and again it took the owner more than a week and he returned me the same shoes without even fixing & told me that these shoes can't replaced. This time I did'nt accept these shoes & told them to send back these shoes. But he refused to help me and handed these shoes faulty shoes back to me. This is the worst experience I'm having with such a reputed brand like WOODLAND. So, again I requested them to send these shoes back for replacement but this time again they send it with some improper fixing which will again cause problem for me and in the near future I've to again submit these shoes to you.

Here I want to convey you my problem that I can't submit these shoes again & again for fixing. This type of fixing I can do at my cost but than why should I pay 350% extra money for woodland. Any roadside company will do the same, than there is no difference in Woodland & others.

I strongly believe that replacing my faulty pairs of footwear is only the permanent solution for the problem as I've used the same model for more than three years without any problem. This is what I feel and such bad replies from reputed company like WOODLAND are not expected.

Hence I request either you replace these shoes or in future I'll discontinue any purchase from woodland. I have preserved the cash receipt, which I feel is concrete proof of my authenticity.

Yes its true, Woodland shoes r very expensive. After sale service is very bad of woodland shoes. I had gone through the same condition two times. It's hard to find a good service in any woodland shoe outlet.

that was manufacturing defect i complaint there so they reply to me that i hava no any responsbility after three month, while according to your policy it has one year worrenty. so plz take action on it. my mail id [protected]@gmail.com

WOODLAND — shoe defect

This is regarding the woodland shoe that I purchased in 2009 from woodland showroom, shop No. 93/1, Marathalli, Bangalore. I have rarely used this shoe, but few days back the shoe's sole got detached. I purchased MRP Rs.1495/- for this shoe. I had taken the shoe to the aboce said showroom, but they are demanding Rs.600/- for sole repalcement, i find this price is high. A brand like woodland which last not more than 2years is unbelievable, whereas other brnads like BATA which I'm using for past 4years has no compaints. I really suspect the quality of this product.

I agreed with the complaints written by several consumers. Especially in the case of damage of sole because i have also suffered with that problem

woodland shoe company — sole of new shoe has been cracked

this is the complaint to inform u i purchased shoes from woodland the sole of shoes has cracked in shopping suddenly i saw that condition to i packed them! it was amajing condition for me.
i never thought this condotion of shoes i can see of woodland so plz answer and replace of my shoes by nearest store.

i bought woodland shoes which i bought from lucknow. i put shoes in shopping suddenly i saw my shoes are cracked! i never expected this condition of woodland.
