I am make some tickets from travel chacha from DEL TO RPR my travelchacha ref.no. ANSXPZ
in JET AIRWAYS but jet airways says tkt not booked but amount debited to my credit card

Www. Travelchacha. Com — Non refund of my cancelled air ticket

I had booked an air ticket on 21.7.10 for the sector from Port Blair to chennai with travel date as 4.8.10. The payment for Rs 3844/- was done through my credit card with payment id TCP[protected] and transaction date is 21-Jul-2010 23:00:57. My transaction id was AMHUKG.Although the money was deducted from my credit card, the tickets were not issued for 10 days,I was forced to purchase another ticket and incurred huge losses. The ticket was not generated on travelchacha site .Finally I cancelled the ticket when it was made available on met .Now more than 24 days are passed , they have not reverted back me the payment for the cancelled tickets.

Hi,

I just got a call and there is no response. I had booked on Air India for a suitable timing. Now You have called and telling me that You are not able to give me tickets on the respective dates and you are giving me in Indigo. Am I responsible for the technical flaw in your site?????

The person who called now, talked very rudely and kept the phone with out answering the concerns and no more lifting the phone. What is this. Is this the way you serve your customers.She is telling if you want take your ticket on Indigo, otherwise, we will refund your money. The day I booked, If I would have booked on Indigo, It would have costed me 1000 less. So please let me know how to proceed in this case. I want to file a case against these cheats

Www. Travelchacha. Com — Money not yet refunded

I had booked a Spicejet ticket from travel chacha in the month of august and i had cancelled it on 13th of august 2010. Spicejet has refunded the money to travel chacha but travel chacha is refusing to give the money back to me.

Travel Chacha — Non Refund of Air Ticket Cancelled

I had cancelled an air ticket (ID: AQBBQU) with www.travelchacha.com on 3rd January 2011. However it is nearly two months and I am yet to get a refund. No proper replies to mail or calls made to them.

I have cancelled my Air tickets on 03/03/2011, Booking ID : ARADSI . But yet I have not recieved any information regarding to my refund although , I have mailed so my times but not get any return responce.

Try Try until you succeed. I had faced similar type of issue and I used to call every alternate day and finally after 4 months, I got back my 50% of the money. Really they are very very slow in their work and replies. I regret that because of 100 or 200 rupees less in the ticket, I chose this agent and later on, I had to loose 5k extra.

Travelchacha.com — Non Refund of Money for Cancelled Tickets

Hi,

I had booked a cancelled my Airlines Ticket on Dec'25, 2011 & till now the TravelChacha Team has not refunded my ticket amount (post their charges).

I have called their customer care atleast 5 times, and each time they say they are sorry & that they will refund the money the next day.

It has still not happened.

Can someone help ?

Travelchacha are big fraud...let me give you some reasonable thoughts about it:
1. You search on internet, there are hell number of people complaining that the money gets debited from their account but tickets are not booked, common reason given to customers are price raised, server issue etc. This happened to me as well. And believe me, I too work a lot with servers, its never that you find issues so often with servers like this as it happens in Travelchacha.

2. Let's say, they really have an issue with their application or server. But when you call them back for refund, they will never say no, instead they will say that it will take 4-5 days. This is happening to me since last 6 months (for an amount of Rs 7500). They are so ready to send the cheque to me but due to some reasons they did not till now. (Only God knows why).

3. They do not even have their own email domain. They use GMAIL for communication.

4. Seeing above I think that they may have some kind of strategy, to debit the amount and try not to refund. Who knows...may be after few more tries I give up my 7500 rs. And thus they gain.

FYI: I talk to Dharmendra and Prem in Refund deptt of Travelchacha. They politely make promises but never keep up to it.
