The service which has been provided to me by the videocon is the worst service!!!!!!!
I logged a complaint about my TV was not working 08/10/2010, and then an engineer visited to my home on 09/10/2010 and repaired the issue.
The Problem (Small Picture) occurred in 10 days later on.
I again booked an engineer who visited about advised me that it cannot be repaired I need to pay again. I told him that I will not pay as paid for an issue just 7 days ago.
Then he temporary fixed the problem.
After 3 days same problem occurred and I again booked an engineer.
I have to pay on this time so with in an month I paid again to resolve the issue on 04/11/2010. This time engineer guaranty me that I will not face this issue again
Now after 2 days I faced the same issue(small Picture) booked an engineer on 06/11/2010 complaint number DEL[protected] then Engineer visited on 09/11/2010 and advised me that IC is not working due to that picture is Small. So I have to pay again. I told him that last engineer guaranty me that I will not face this issue again.
Then he left without resolving the issue & advice that the same engineer will visit again. Till date no one visited. My TV is still the same.
Such a WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

I have gifted a videocon D2H satellite LCD to my parents Staying in Panipat, however since then we are contact videocon office on [protected]for installing the same however they are making false promises that the same will be done today this is going on since 05th November 2010. I have come back from there and still i am following it with them for the same. Such kind of service with false promises are not expected from a reputed organization. I want my money back and not interested in their product.

Hi,

I purchased a Videocon 5-in-1 & a not so branded speaker system in the year[protected] from Snehanjali, Andheri (West). I just gave the Address to the shop owner in the afternoon & the machine was delivered to me by late evening without a single follow-up.

Fast forward to[protected], I purchased a Videocon D2H-3204 LCD TV (Invoice number 190734, sr. no.[protected] from Snehanjali, Bhayandar west, Maxus Mall showroom. The TV was delivered to my door steps on the 14th Night after atleast 6 phone calls & my personal visit. The installation was done on the 15th as the person didn’t come with the TV stand. This too was done after repeated phone calls.

I bought the TV although I couldn’t afford only because
1. Decent past experience o[censored]sing Videocon Brand
2. Good experience with Snehanjali
3. A fantastic offer i.e. 24 months D2H diamond package & INR 11000 money back certificate which I can redeem after a period of 6 years.

While buying the TV I was informed that the certificate will be delivered to me in within the next 7-10 days. Now after more than 30 calls to the showroom at Bhayandar(W), Maxus Mall, I have not received any revert. I used to speak to the salesperson PARSHURAM till the last month. I have spoken to his boss from the showroom but to no avail.

Since June, I have bought a new refrigerator, a new washing machine & a oven but all from Vijay sales. The sole reason was this wrong commitment. Also I have made it a point that I will not refer Videocon/ Snehanjali to any of my friends/ neighbors’/ relatives ever as I really do not know whether the showroom is responsible for this delay or Videocon.

I will definitely take what is rightfully mine + a 1 rupee fine as a token of penalty for the delay. The only point I wanted to drive is that we can become an Indian MNC but we cannot imbibe the culture of a MNC, we can be in malls like in the western countries but the service will not match the countryside store service. My gut feel is that both Snehanjali & Videocon are still good brands but the culture of good service which ran in the company/ Showroom people 10 years back is not the same now.

Note: I do not have mail ID of Snehanjali hence cannot forward the same to them.

I had purchased a Videocon DTH connection from Rahul Electronics, Bulandshahr on 05.11.2010. I was promised that my installation will be done within 24-48 hrs. by the showroom and also by the company via an sms sent to my phone no. But no one came to my home till 07.11.2010. After that when I complained to the dealer, he promised that the company representative will come by 08.11.2010 morning. On 8th, he promised, that it would be done by 8th evening. simultaneously, I complained on the company's regional helpline no. ([protected]) where they gave me my complaint i.d. as 21965364 and promised to resolve the issue within 24 hrs., i.e by 09.11.2010 morning. But when no one came till 9th evening, I recalled the same helpline where they finally asked me to wait till 10th morning. The behaviour and response of Rahul Electronics and the local service centre executives at Bulandshahr was extremely rude during all this period.

Finally, today on 10th evening, the company representative came to install the dish antennae and said that activation will be done within 5-10 minutes. It has been 7 hrs. and the connection has not yet been activated. Moreover, they say that the server is down and activation will not be possible atleast till tommorrow.

As Videocon DTH boasts of its quick, service, I am Feeling cheated and can not hope for a better service without interruption in future if there server is down even from the first day.

I no more believe in commitments of Videocon DTH services and request for your assistance so that they can think twice for making false claims to the society.

I have Purchased one D2H Videocon Connection on 05/11/2010 through on line Purchase. The Order No.D2H[protected].

As per their Advertisement and confirmation the delivery & installation should be 24-48hrs. But till date the company has not send any executive. When I am calling to the customer care [protected] the executive is not giving any clarity.

Also when I am asking them to cancel the order they are saying write a mail we will cancel after 1month.


Kindly look into the matter, as the company may be cheating to other clients as well.

I bought a Video con d2h from MANOJ AUDIO, VIDEO AND CASSETTE CENTER Ekma, Saran BIHAR on 3rd of November 2010. they assured me that it will be installed the very next day. We paid the full amount of Rs 1690 and he handed over the set top box only saying that the installation engineer will reach tomorrow with the rest of the instruments. From the 5th of November, the shop owner started rejecting our calls and and at once told us to contact the customer care. On not finding any positive or satisfying result from the customer care, at last we decided to complain. Hope that we will be justied

I am sorry to say this your service has been poor my ID 20395138 R.Krishnan... i have opted for two language channel one tamil and other telugu but no telugu channel has been telecasted for past one week.... I may launch a complaint to consumer forum or rti about your customer service staff irresponsible response to rectify this fault.... often my d2h is going to AV mode i have launched tis b4 2 month also but no service engineer has attended till now...... This is for your kind reference that I have installed d2h service for my domestic use .But after installation due to the absernce of AV to RF converter it was not possible to run my Tv on the setrvice . As per te terms , Videocon is supposed to provide the converter incase it is not available with the TV set, but inspite of that the dealer / customer care told me to install the same on my own . After I referred the User Guide Book, the customer care agrred to install the same and Installation Engineer came to attend the problem ( My Complaint No.21306030, dated:31/10/2010) same day with bare hand , without converter. After telephonic discussion with his superior the matter is still remains unattended which left me at the peak of my astonishment about the reputation of Videocon services . videocon d2h not working from threedays,it showing as technical error,contact custamer care..... when
i talked with custamer care they are telling some tips but problem not solved with it, i severel times phoned to local instalation engineer, he says ohh i will with in one hour or ten munits like that but he is not attended ....my custamer id:[protected]

Its very disheartening that in spite of my repeated follow-ups telephonically and also repeated emails I have not received any feedback in written nor my installation is done I think I should forward these chain of mails to the Times of India group to publish this gross negligence of the Videocon as a brand. Hopefully the media and if not media than I think I can take it in the consumer court for the harassment and trouble caused.

I am Saurav Banerjee and I have a LCD satellite TV . I have relocated from Delhi to Pune and want the product to be reinstalled at my new address. I have given the following request but till the product has not been installed with the reason that I have give a wrong pincode for my new address. This is a wrong excuses which is being given for the delay that has occurred for not attending my first request. This is a gross negligence from the company as a Videocon to the costumer I am enclosing all my request numbers and hoping for a prompt action.

Such big negligence’s and harassment to customers from a reputed brand like VIDEOCON is not expected.

MY 29 INCH COLOR TV GOT DEAD ON 26/9/2010 ,REGISTERED A COMPLAINT AT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE,TECHNICIAN CAME THE NEXT DAY N TOLD THAT PICTURE TUBE HAS GONE N NEED TO B REPLACED.......................
I HAD 1YR AMC TAKEN.....................HE TOLD WITHIN 1 WEEK IT VL B REPLACED BUT SINCE THEN ITS BEEN 1 MONTH ..NO 1 HAS EVER CONTACTED..........EACH DAY WHEN I CAL TO CUSTOMER SERVICE THEY MAKE US CHUTIYA BY TELLNG .....THAT TECHNICIAN VL B COMING THE NEXT DAY BUT NONE OF THE PEOPLE RESPOND...........................

I bought a Vedeocon set VC1425 IMEI No [protected] dt 27.05.2010 which started giving me various trouble including remain hang with regular interval, touch-pad non-responsive, no ringtone, ever since i bought it and one day i got extremely frustrated with it when its key pad became non-responsive and knocked it against my table with broke the lcd.

I went to 2 service stations, one in behala refused to take the set saying that Videocon service is pathetic and they dont want to be a part of it, so i took it to the other station dt 19.08.2010 at M/S Accel Frontline Services Limited where they charged me part amout Rs 579.00 plus service charge Rs 276.00 and assured to deliver the set within 7 working days!

I got a call from Videocon Kolkata in mid of September'10 saying that the lcd part for model VC1425 is not available so they would changed the set with some other dual sim handset which i can go and cleect paying the lcd charge from the service centre. As I bought another set of LG during the interval so i took some time to go to the service centre, but that got stolen on 16.10.2010 as a reason i needed the other set urgentl., But i got surprised when i went to the above service centre dt 18.10.2010, they said they dont have any piece of information regarding the replacement!

It wasted my time, energy, money and caused disappointment! It is pure case of Consumer Forum case where i should go and place a file against such product and its pathetic service!

I recharged for Rs 1400/- today via internet using my credit card.
I recharged looking at theoptions available on your website. It was 1400/- for New Gold Sports for 6 months + 15 days.

There is no mention of the Old Gold Sports pack on your website.

To my surprise I found that my recharge was vaild for 5 1/2 months only and still under the "Old" category. On calling your stupid customer care centre, I was told that I should have changed my package. What is this "you should have"?

When the customer trusts you and pays his hard earned money, how can you fool him? What is stopping you from changing my package and giving me the validity that is rightfully mine?

Now when New Gold Sports is the only category on your website and there is no mention about Oler one, how can I be charged for some non existant category?

Effectively, I have lost a month worth of recharge. I demand that my validity be restored immediately to 6 months + 15 days.

When a new package with effectively the same channels is available, how can you ask the customet to continue with the more expensive older package?


I will now ensure that you lose atleast 10 customers. I too will go for a different service once my package validity ends. I will go for TATA SKY as they dont cheat people.

Other than this too...the Universal remote is horrible, malfunctions, needs to be programmed repeatedly. The service too is poor, freezes at times
