The above card pertains to my son Haridaass Radhakrishnan. But the Elector's name mentioned therein is Radhakrishnan Haridaass. Against father's name it is mentioned as Haridaass R instead of Radhakrishnan Subramanian. Very sorry state of affairs. If my son produces this card for any identity proof to any authority what will happen and what ordeal he has to undergo. If the Govt. is unable to do a job perfectly, why can't this job be outsourced to private corporates like TCS or any other such capable organisation.

I had applied for voter id about 10 months back but on tracking still says under process. Is there any problem with my application as it is taking this long. Please help. My tracking id is 01452475a1565c24e. The local authorities usually ask for bribes and hence i chose the online option. The eci is not even informing me if there is any mistake in my form which i will have to correct. This is just unacceptable

It is to bring to your notice that staff selection commission had conducted combined graduate level exam for graduates to various posts. However, i suspect something fishy in the selection procedure. This was the first time that the exam was conducted online and candidates were not even allowed to bring pen to the exam hall. Everything was provided by the ssc which was appreciated. However, now they have issued a notification saying that they are conducting re-exam for a single batch. The details of the matter can be found out in the rti filed by me. The rti is attached.
The reply got by the ssc also has been attached. It is stated that because of a paper possessed by one candidate during frisking, they want to conduct the exam for entire batch because it would be an injustice. However, the following points are to be raised
1. Why not debar that candidate as is normally done for indulging in malpractice in an exam instead of conducting re-exam?
2. Why re-exam for that particular batch? If its injustice for the candidates of that particular batch, its injustice for other batch candidates as well. Why then the same principle not applied to other batches. Aren’t the candidates of that batch not competing with candidates of other batch?
3. And for possession of a slip of paper, re-exam is conducting instead of debarring the candidate, it gives a loop hole that a candidate can float that he has slip of paper with him and make the board conduct re-exam if his exam hasn’t been good??
It is kindly requested to take up the matter at your level if possible as this would i feel lead to a big scam. It would be too overwhelming to take up the matter in big shows, but atleast mentioning about it for a minute or two in some other shows may have an effect.

I submitted for mine and my wife Voter-id transfer within Bangalore Urban from CV Raman Nagar to Bommanahalli in February 2016.
Even my daughter submitted for fresh voter registration.

But even 8 months the status in online shows as under process.

Why it is taking so much time for a small registration.

Sir, myself (Dr.S.Ganesan) and my wife(Mrs.G.Jayakodi) hold a election identity card number MBZ3308897& MBZ5153515 issued on 16/04/2006 & 06/04/2006, respectively in ward II, Devanathaswamy Nagar, Salai agaram Village, Villupuram district . election booth voters list that all the two names in my house were missing. kidly add my name inthe list.. We are residing in the same house since 30 years (the house is in my wife name). we voted in all the elections till now.

A person by the name of singh with his mobile phone number as [protected] was caught by me talking to the servant of flat 18-c in my lift lobby at about 4 p. M. Today. I called malabar hill police station nearly three times since 4:00 p. M. Then i made inquiry with the security guard sitting in the lift lobby of c-wing as to whether a police constable visited him to take the details of the person from the visitors register. He told me no police constable had come till 5:30 p. M. I returned by lift and saw the man again talking to the same servant of flat 18-c. I shouted to the security guard and asked him to come up to my floor. The security guard identified him as the person who visited the flats in a-wing of the building yesterday and the flats of c-wing today. The security guard asked the person as to why he did not visit my flat in c-wing. Only then the person took my signature and mobile number in a yellow register. He refused to give me his details and did not show me his identity card. Two police constables of malabar hill police station reached only after that person had taken my signature and mobile number. He escaped by stairs leaving his black ball pen with me. The police constables told me that they are searching for the person and have taken his details from the security guard. Three persons are wrongly shown as residing with me in my flat. The servants and people residing in flat 18-c can be said to be in collusion with the election officers who have committed fraud in electoral rolls. The said person had informed the security guard yesterday that he had come from the office of election commission of india having an office opposite central cinema at girgaum in mumbai and had left his mobile number and name as mentioned above with the security guard.

Hi. I submitted an application online for updating the details in my election id in about nov 2015. I was given a reference number & was told that status of the same will b available only after march 2016.
I've been tracking the status of the application since maybe mid april. Till date it only shows me that my application is 'under process'.
How long will it actually take for me to really receive an updation on that?
I did it online coz it's more convenient. But looking at the own sweet time it's taking... I think it would've been better if i would've gone to the govt department which handles the same here!

Can i get a reply on this please. It's frustrating! More so because i need that for almost every thing (Applying a license etc) as my photo id cum residence proof here!
