Eureka Forbes — Complaint Against Poor Service by Eureka Forbes For Aquaguard

Hello Sir, this is Prasun Kumar Ganguly from Kolkata and I am lodging this complaint against Eureka Forbes Aquaguard Kolkata service for cheating me and not providing the service under AMC. Sir, I am a very old customer of Aquaguard and I was using Aquaguard Royal and was quite satisfied with the service. On 17th Feb 2014 Sales Executive Sajal Malakar and Marketing in charge Pralay Dutta came to my place and insist me to exchange the Aquaguard Royal with the latest machine Enhanced UV. At that time my AMC was ongoing and we still have one and half years time left for the AMC to expire. These two people Sajal Malakar and Pralay Dutta had assured me that if I exchange my Royal with the new enhanced UV then my ongoing AMC will not get affected. Following points they had written and officially stamped & signed on the warranty card of my new Enhance UV machine Service a) Unit 1 year warranty b) AMC extends from unit warranty c) Extend 6 months d) In our location lifetime service free. Pls See attachment I have attached photo of my Warranty card where all above points have been mentioned and signed officially by Mr Sajal Malakar & Pralay Dutta. Now, after this I yr warranty gets over my service men told me that they will not change the candles since they did not get any order from company for AMC extension and adjustment that is being mentioned and officially stamped by both Sajal Malakar (PH- [protected]) and Pralay Dutta (pH- [protected], [protected], Code[protected]. When I contact the company they kept me waiting and did not respond to my request. I even contact Mr Pinaki Pal (Ph- [protected]) the current Service and marketing in charge who had replaced Pralay Dutta now, but still my problem is not solved. I even request, Mr Pal that I am ready to pay the extra cost difference for new candle for UV since Royal’s candle is cheaper than UV candles. Still, I did not get any further response from him. My question is why they forced me to buy a new machine if they can't give me the AMC adjustment which they not only promised, but already mentioned and signed on my new warranty card Of Enhanced UV machine. This they are now reluctant to provide me the AMC adjustment which they had promised me on time of exchanging my old Royal with the new Enhance UV machine.

Four years back I have purchased Eureka Forbes Aqua guard . On December 2014 I was force to adopt AMC for the above aquagurard. Now the taste of water is very poor and salty. I have lodged a complaint for rectification. The service person told that the Perunkalathur (Chennai -600 063) area water salt level is higher than the Eureka Forbes Aquaguard product. So, we are unable to rectify to step down the salt level after the purification. Other products are well (for ex. PURE IT) in function in our area, why your are canvassing your products in our area. I think you will take necessary steps to solve my problems.

I purchased CLASSIC + water purifier which was installed today. The mechanic after installation ( which was just replacing the old one NOVA model I was in use ) advised me that the dispensing water need be continued for at least half an hour and for the same a bucket was placed by him. When the bucket filled in, my husband lifted the same and when his hand contacted the water it was found electrocuted. Immediately the matter was informed on cell nos. of the sales representative Mr. Mrinmoy Kabashi ( Code 9098956), the other authorized representative Mr. Avijit Saha who first visited my residence upon my enquiry with the Company for purchase of the Water purifier and the mechanic who installed the Unit. I mailed the entire matter to customer care and in response one Mr. Pinaki Pal happens to be in charge contacted me on phone to ascertain the issue. No one thereafter visited and/or acted in any manner despite the issue being serious and such mal-functioning / defective function of the water purifier caused severe prejudice for being the water so being dispensed with was injurious to life and property of the customer and her family and that the customer was denied the committed/ assured quality of the product and it's services.
