I am writing to bring to your kind notice on a recurring issue I am facing with my newly purchased water purifier, "Aquaguard Blaze Insta Hot and Cold Ambient RO+UV."
I have brought the product from nearby Bajaj Electronics in Nizampet, Hyderabad Branch.
The filtered water has a very low TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) level, ranging between 10 to 20, which is not within the recommended range for consumption as per guidelines. I raised a service request (CM[protected] for this issue on 02.06.2025, but no one has attended the service. Upon calling Eurekha Forbes customer care executive, a ticket was raised, and a technician was assigned on 17.06.2025 after 15 days.
The technician, Mr. Raj Kumar, visited on 17.06.2025 and advised fixing a local brand TDS meter to adjust the TDS and quality. I argued that I was informed at the time of purchase that the purifier comes with a taste adjuster which Eurekha Forbes also confirmed on call with them.
Additionally, the next day, another service request was raised. I informed your customer executive not to assign the same technician, but they assigned Mr. Raj Kumar again. Without visiting for inspection, he asked for the OTP, stating that the previous day's request was not closed, and then closed the open request.
The same product issue was raised to the sales team of Bajaj on phone call but they are saying that there will be no problem with such TDS and it is coming as you are using municipal water. But my product is designed to give me healthy water for all types of water as it has RO and UV which shows the lack of knowledge of the sales team.
I have raised my concern on mail on this on 21.06.2025 to which Eurekah Forbes responded and raised a new service ticket with Service Number CM[protected]. But unfrotunately as mentioned on mail, I didn't receive the service.
After this, Eurekha Forbes responded on 16.07.2025 asking whether the request still open or closed without attending which shows their coordination issue.
Later their executive had talked to me on phone after i have confirmed the request is still open. But the executive also informs same that an external parts to be installed to get proper TDS level.
I ask Eurekha Forbes on this behlaf that, How can they sell a product which does not follow health guidelines.
And despite buying the product believing their promotion that we get healthy water, why i have to invest and depend on external parts for getting healthy water.
I am really getting confused and there is no one to guide me or educate me in this issue, despite, they come and go giving same reply.
Hence following the above sequence of incidents,
I strongly believe that Eurekha Forbes had manufactured the product as per the quality and health standard guidelines.
I am very unsatisfied with both the product and the service provided where my issue remains unresolved, and I am worried about the investment made and the health of my family.
Hence, I request Eurekha Forbes through the Consumer complaints forum to take return of the product and refund my amount back so that i can decide with other products.
