[Resolved]  Food Panda — order cancellation without informing customer and not refunding money

I had placed an order on fp on october 21st 2018. Order id: [protected]@1 and paid in advance via paytm (Wallet transaction id: [protected] for an amount of 207.40.

After waiting for an hour the tracking showed as food is delivered. However, no food was ever delivered and on contacting fp regarding the same they informed me that the order is cancelled!! I had guests waiting to be fed who ultimately left without eating as it was getting too late!

As per fp's own company policy (I have saved screenshots and chat transcripts), if an order is paid in advance via an e-wallet, the refund is done within 24 hours. However, it's been 15 days now and i've simply been getting tall promises that the amount will be refunded within 24-48 hours, please wait for one day more sir, latest by midnight today 100% etc etc

However, on enquiring with paytm, it seems that these cheaters have not even initiated a refund yet!!!

What kind of pathetic scam are you people running??? It takes 15 days to refund 207 rupees?? You'll pay crores to celebrities to promote you via ads but do this to your customers?? Bloody pathetic service and even more pathetic customer service. Damn right you guys are in the doldrums and people don't prefer to order with you guys compared to other food delivery companies. I am definitely taking this matter to consumer court, rest assured!

In attached, screenshots, the company lists 3 different time frames to refund a customer!! Wow! What nonsense company!
