Good day
I am highly disappointed with radiation dept of Fortis Mulund.
Waiting time is almost hour or more.
Above all they dnt take patinets as per waiting time, givin reason than person time is before u.
Patinets are paying huge money and if they do get this treatment this is highly unfair and not acceptable from hospitals like Fortis.
Kindly address this issue asap.
Above all there is machine breakdown too which is normal but it shd nt happen tht frequently.

    In this regard, it is submitted that I was admitted at Fortis Hospital, Mohali on 25.07.2023 for Sinus and DNS Surgery with treating doctor as Dr. Ashok Kumar Gupta .

    The hospital asked to deposit Rs 3000.00 as cash which will be refunded in cash if bill amount is less since my treatment was covered under Oriental Insurance.

    I was discharged on 26.07.2023 and whole of the expenses were covered under the insurane. Upon discharge, the IPD discharge team refused to refund Rs. 3000.00 in cash.They said the amount shall be credited into my account. I submitted bank details to the IPD team upon discharge.

    Till now, the refund amount has not been initiated by the hospital and IPD refund team does not even pick u the call.

    You are requested to reply why cash was not given at that time? Whyrefund has not been initiated yet ? Immidately refund Rs 3000.00.

      I have been in relation with fortis from last 10 years.
      Yesterday on July 15th, I came with my daughter for admission for stuture on her chin. We opt for single occupancy on 5th Floor, Room No
      4505.
      I want to say this time Nursing staff is worst experience especially the day time staff Name SUNITA is very aggressive, unpolite. Whenever we are asking her, she responds in very bad manner.
      Being a NRI and log time clientèle with FORTIS, we don't want to get embarrassed by nursing staff. She is so adamant that she is saying complaint to whoever you want.
      Nursing staff are face of hospital, they should be polite.
      People like her are bad name to brand Fortis.
      She should be immediately recommend for anger management.

        I was asked to do ultrasound since my wife is pregnant and when I approached the radiology department requesting an urgent ultrasound to be done the staff told me it might take 2-3 hours to go through it however it's been 5 hours now still ultrasound is not done yet and staff is not answering anything to question asked.

                My cousin Sakshi Kataria attended the OPD of DR Sonam Gupta Neurologist at Shalimar Bagh and her coordinator Himani tortured us deliberately by making us waiting outside just to show report...we make our card at 11:05 and she made us to show our report to Dr Sonam at 5 pm...she was such a annoying lady so rough and rude...she said 10 logo ko alag alag information nhi dungi...she said next time without report discussion hi aapko medicine likhwa dungi . is she giving instructions to Dr Sonam Gupta. Being a central government employees hamare time ki bhi value hai and she was behaving like a God there and entertaining few people like VIP...y so much discrimination..she told ki report mam ko technician se discuss karni hai aap wait karo ...at last when no one left she once again came outside to check koi or toh nhi hai . Or sabse last mein she said aap mil lo...patient was waiting outside the whole day without having proper lunch ...n when u check ur records u ll find she was admitted in emergency at 9:00 coz she got faint and when I said all to miss Himani she replied I didn't tell u to come early...is her behaviour tolerable...she is just playing her monopoly there without knowledge of Dr Sonam Gupta...isse achcha arrangement public hospital mein mil jata hai...emergency doesn't matter to her ..she is totally irresponsible person. .she is just spoiling image of one private hospital. When we requested her plz let us meet she start lecture and allow us to meet her at end we were last to meet Dr. I want a strict action against her. Plz do needful ...kindly do inform me. I want a proper redressal of my grievance else I need to file complaint to court .

                      Gist of Case:
                      Late Mr. Amit Kumar was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease in the year 2019 at Gaya, Bihar. We have been informed to consult Fortis Mohali for better treatment.
                      After we consulted Fortis Mohali, we have been informed that Kidney Transplantation will be required. (Reference OPD Prescription dt. 26.06.2019)
                      As the family of patient was extremely poor, we friends have started a donation campaign through Impactguru fund raiser platform. (Reference Social Media Impact Guru Campaign).
                      Impact Guru transferred Rs. 60, 735/- (Rs. 52, 417/- + Rs. 8, 318/-) on 28/10/2021.

                      We along with Patient's family arranged for more money and planned to go Mohali from Bihar but unexpectedly patient's health condition deteriorated and sadly he expired on 02/11/2021.
                      We were so shocked and in pain for Amit's untimely demise.
                      Due to shock his father also got Expired 12/12/2021 and family has entered into extremely bad situation mentally and physically.
                      Since then we some group of friends are supporting his family financially. But still the family is in extremely poor condition as they have huge borrowing taken for the treatment.
                      Sir, from last 1.5 years we have tried to contact Fortis Mohali for the refund but have not heard any reply. We have written mail dt. 16/04/2023 to Fortis and sent multiple reminders, but as on date not even a single reply came. We have sent complete details to Fortis Mohali along with following attachments vide our mail dt. 16/04/2023::

                        I was undergoing gastro treatment through ECHS by referral, for last two years . During recent visit, the doctor refused to accept the ECHS referral form by saying, " मेरी मर्जी, " and I got to pay Rs. 2000 as the consultation fee. On enquire it is revealed that, though the hospital is an empanelled hospital . What is the use of this empanelled hospital where doctor refuses to accept referral and treat the patient.

                            "The nurse, Preeti, in the procedure room was extremely rude and biased towards us. She kept us waiting for three hours and attended to local patients first, just because we are not from Chandigarh. She used bad language. We have paid bills for the treatment at Fortis and they are not treating us for free. Therefore, Fortis Hospital, please ensure that your staff know how to treat every patient equally. Even staff at government hospitals treat patients better than the staff at Mohali Fortis. "

                              I have booked and paid for the video call appointment of Dr Tarlochan Singh Kler for 9.45 AM 15TH April 2023. My appointment has been cancelled without any information and when I tried to contact the hospital on Call there was nobody to provide any information in this regard. Pathetic Experience with Fortis.                               Such kind of services will not be helpful to you to build up a good name among the people who are looking for world class health facilities.

                                With due respect, I Dr Kajal Sharma daughter of patient Sh. Vinod Kumar Sharma ( UHID No.[protected] want to register a complaint against the management of your hospital ( Fortis, Mohali ) regarding the insensible behavior of the hospital staff on the basis of series of events which occurred as on 8th April 2023 which are as follows :

                                The patient went on 7th April 2023 for the follow up check up under Dr Mukesh Vats ( Empanelled Consultant Eye and Retina specialist ).
                                The patient was diagnosed with macular edema and was planned for intravitreal injection (Accentrix ) and day care admission for 8th April 2023
                                1. The patient was asked to come at 11:00am on 8th April and was informed that after the allotment of the bed and other formalities the procedure will be done. Availability of the bed was confirmed by doctor’s assistant Ms. Nisha at around 9.45am in the morning on a phone call.
                                2. The patient wasn’t pre-informed that there is no bed facility available and was misleaded as they were repeatedly told by the staff that they will get it in some time. So the patient was told to get the procedure done without making the necessary facilities available to the patient.
                                3. The procedure was done at around 2.15pm and the patient didn’t get the bed even after approx 5 hours, So the patient had to spend the whole post procedural time on a couch (in the name of day care)
                                4. The patient was kept for observation but nobody came for the post procedural follow up and then after asking multiple times about the formalities and discharge of the patient the staff was ignorant, non cooperative and misbehaved saying we don’t know anything when you can take your patient home it can 10pm or 11pm in the night
                                5. Finally when they agreed to discharge him but denied to give the treatment chart prescribed by the doctor and asked them to go to the doctor’s opd for that, knowingly that the opd hours are already over the doctor had left. After some arguements finally they provided us with the photocopy of treatment chart.
                                6. Even if there were some technical issues where the hospital could not provide us with necessary documents at that moment, there must have been some alternative option other than harassing the patient unnecessarily.
                                7. We even asked for the OCT report repeatedly, the test which was done on 07 April 2023 but the Doctor’s assistant Ms Nisha denied to provide us the report of the same saying the diagnosis is mentioned on the prescription page of the doctor already and we don’t give the reports to the patient. Transparency has to be there and getting the reports are the rights of the patient.

                                We come to fortis to sought personalised care in lieu of the hefty amount that we pay, but this kind of service on the part of fortis is highly irresponsible and unethical . We would rather sort treatment at some other institution who know how to care for their patients and attendants as well.
                                Keeping a patient waiting on the couch for 4-5 hours post procedure is not at all acceptable. If no bed was available we should have been told before hand, we could have deferred the procedure till next appointment but we were misled and our patient had to undergo unnecessary harassment. Kindly look into the matter .

                                Also the bed charges must not be included in the bill as the patient had spend the whole time sitting on the couch only.

                                After yesterday we have completely lost our faith in the institution and would sort treatment at some other place who have ethical conduct and compassion at the same time .

                                Anticipating for the reply and hoping that you will take this matter seriously and would take necessary action against such kind of misconduct.
