Dear Sir, We have purchased a flat from our Builders Sri Saptgiri Infra in Visakhapatnam and Godrej Lock was fitted during May 2014. The main door Lock of Godrej got stuck in the night time and we need to get it opened through street vendor. Now the Builder and your Godrej Dealer is saying that it is not cover under warranty. We were not having any option other than breaking the lock as it was mid night. Please suggest us what to do further? Regards.     Please note that I had procured around 20 Sets of Sultry Rose Model Door Locks around 6 months back from Godrej Dealer at Bhubaneswar and the State Sales head was also involved in price negotiation and finalising the deal. Now, I am facing problem with the fitment since past few weeks and the handles are coming out frequently, I have complained to your Sales Representative many times and he has assured that the complaint will be taken care but nobody is attending to it. I have also called Helpline numbers and they are telling the Pin code is out of service area and we have to get it fixed by some local carpenter. Why was then the product sold to me if it was outside Service Area. It is a very high end model and I preferred It believing that the service of Godrej will be best but I have been proved wrong.

      Company those who are not able to provide post sales services get sunk in business soon. Godrej is one of them on top...pathetic in responding calls, can't get connected to customer care, poor IVR system, auto receiving of sms in case of missed calls are also have fake numbers/invalid numbers. Top management must fire those who are heading post sales services. I had brought Godrej Safe Esquire, the lock is not working sometimes, it took my 2-3 working hours just to register a complaint. The dealer's technician says the product is under warranty but the lock would be changed on chargeable basis because it's a rule of godrej that any physical part gets changed in safe would be chargeable whereas in all companies if there is a physical damage then only the replacement of part would be chargeable. Dont buy Godrej Product, they dont have service back up and even if they drop down to attend your call, their intention would be how to charge a customer even if product is under warranty.         I purchase this lock in month of august which was initially installed by local technician. When the lock not working complaint was raised at godrej customer care and the sent technician from godrej to address the the concern. Technician name rakesh gupta [protected] visited and said that the lock was not installed correctly so needs reinstallation and completed is work and took 100₹ without giving any bill so he can put the money in his pocket. After 15 20 days down the line the same issue reoccurs. And the and the complaint was book again same technician visited fix the issue and took 200₹ without providing any bill. Now again the lock in not working. The complaint was booked on 5th Jan but technician visited when no one was not available at home and never revisited since then. I have faced lot of problems since the GODREJ LOCK was installed. Now customer care is saying we won't provide you any service service as manager sumit sharma Dont want to provide any service. Lock is still under warrant

            I have bought CCTV cameras from one of your distributors . About 3 months back I have registered a complain that Infrared vision of one of the Camera (Godrej IR Bullet 700 TVL V/F ) is not working . They told me that Our technician will first visit you within 2-3 days and analyze the Problem . I waited for one Week after that I called them again and again but everytime they told me that our technician will visit you today only . Till one month no technician visited the site and checked the problem . After that when I called them they told me that you need to register complain to the Godrej we will not be able to visit you . I registered a complain in Godrej . After that a Godrej Technician called me ( Mo. No - [protected] ) he told me that there is a problem in camera and the distributor will change it and he is forwarding the details to the distributor for the change of Camera . Again I called the Distributor they they told me that they haven't received any such request . After that I contacted the technician of Godrej ( Mo. No - [protected] ) . He asked me to call his manager with the mobile no ([protected]) . I called the manager and told him the whole situation . He told me that he will contact and the distributor and my problem will be resolved within 3 days . When I called him after 3 days he stopped picking up my call . When I called the distributor they say that problem will be resolved within 2-3 days . Now it's been around 3 months and still no resolution have been provided . Could there anything you can do about it ?? Is this really the way Godrej Works and treats it's customer and on what basis it decides it's distributor ? All these instances made an impression that never buy any products from Godrej and stop your colleagues or any person from buying the Godrej products .               I ordered Godrej Electronic Safe - Forte(Order no.[protected] from Homeshop18 on 12 Dec 2014, and pay them advance money Rs 7790/- through internet banking, product was shipped through DTDC on 14 Dec and after tracking I found that from 18 Dec is was in delivered status but I didn't product. I was relax because on homeshop18 website it was showing in delayed status. After waiting for one week I contacted them and they told they will track the product and ask me to send the bank statement of payment through mail. Next they on homeshop18 site product was shown delivered and when I contact them they made me fool for next 3-4 days by saying that we will solve this quickly. I contact them multiple times and they said wait fro 24 hr.Than I trace shipment by calling to DTDC and after Tracking found that product was booked by name of some Mr. Kushwaha and delivered to him. With this new detail when I contact them they told me they are placing new order for me and that will be delivered within 10 days. After 5 days when I check status, order was not even shipped. Again when I contact costumer care they told "We are checking weather previous order was delivered to you are not."It means they were fooling me by placing another order (No.[protected], again when I call customer care and talk to their floor supervisor MS janmeet she told product is already delivered to you and received by sign but if you didn't get product we will investigate and from last one month they are making fool out of me. Now neither they are returning my money nor they are shipping product.

                Purchased Godrej locks on[protected] from Natraj Locks, Sector-93, Noida on the promise that Godrej installer will come and install within 24 hours. On[protected] request with Godrej customer care was lodged when I was informed that one will install the next day on[protected]. But nobody turned up. When contacted over phone, every day he kept promising that he will come next day. Today 5 days has elapsed and I am told that somebody will come and install today. There can no poorer service than this kind.Called the customer service almost 4 times a day.

                    I purchased a Godrej Lock (VERTIBOLT - 2C) on[protected] and call the customer care on same day and got confirmation that installation will be done within 24 hours. I got the one service center details too and when I called to the service center next day, they said that is not my area. I called to customer care again then given another service center detail, When I called to another service center... they never answer the phone. In same way I got about 4-5 service center details and they all speak the same word - that is not my area. Finally I got the AP Service Manager number, I called him. I thought he can do something but I have already called him more than five time, also got few service center calls after talk with him but all service center given the same answer - that is not my area. It's already 8 days over and still I am waiting the installation. This is the service we have in AP for Godrej Lock. They are simply cheater and it's very bad experience in my life. I will never suggest any body for any Godrej Lock product. Please do something if any body can do anything.

                      I have Godrej electronic door lock and I am struggling to get service from their service team at Pune. I have logged call at their call Center and they just close call without even attending the case and their service manager was contact he too turned out to be of no use. Past 15 days there is no one accountable who can help. I made a big mistake of buy Godrej product. Service delayed is service dened.

                          Hi everyone i strongly urge people please do not buy this godrej locks from thi fraud company i bought this lock name premium night latch on 2nd june and to install the lock i cald these fraud godrej people who are well trained to lie they registered my complaint on 3rd june and gave me this ticket number delhi 165529 and told me ur lock will be installed in next 2 days and from that time no one has come yet to install the lock and till now ihave called them more then 50 times but all they say is lies and lies today is 13th june and we are still sitting at home without a lock installed in our door and my nephew cylcle has been stolen due to there was no latch in my house i strongly urge people please do not get traped by buying godrej locks their customer representatives are very very rude aswell [protected] sharma new delhi

On[protected] request with Godrej customer care was lodged when I was informed that one will install the same on[protected]. But nobody turned up. When contacted over phone, every day he kept promising that he will come next day. Today one full week has elapsed and I am told that somebody will come and install today. There can no poorer service than this kind.
                            Purchased 2 Godrej locks on 9-9-10 on the promise that Godrej installer will come and install within 24 hours. On 10-9-10 request with Godrej customercare was lodged when I was informed that one Mr. Sham Lal (Mobile No. [protected]) will install the same on 11-9-10. But no body turned up. When contacted over phone, everyday he kept promising that he will come next day. Today one full week has elapsed and I am told that somebody will come and install tomorrow. There can no poorer service than this kind. I seem to have no option but to return the locks to the seller and if the latter fails to refund my money then I will have to parcel these locks to Godrej's MD and request for refund if they can afford.
                            Hi there am suffering from the same lock installation problem but there is no avail they are still harassing people freely

                              Hi,

                              I have purchased Godrej Ultra vertibolt lock on 24.12.07and have a 15
                              year warranty period along with the purchase slip. The knob of the
                              lock has come out. I have called the Toll free no :[protected]and
                              have raised a request no:HYD111682 on 20.12.2011 but due to some
                              technical error at Godrej locks it has been wrongly routed to
                              bangalore and i have been receiving calls from bangalore . I had
                              escalated this as the request was to be done at hyderabad. They told
                              sorry and the same thing continued for a couple of days mentioning
                              that the person would be coming to do the service and would charge
                              Rs.90/ and no extra charges. I have agreed to the same. Till date
                              nobody has turned up to do the needful.

                              To my surprise when i called on 26.12.2011 they said the request has
                              been routed to bangalore and its the error at their end and they need
                              to raise a new request . Its so pathetic inspite of follow up this is
                              how reputed company like Godrej works. They have given a new request
                              no:HYD/113383 and till date nobody has truned up . i have been
                              repeatedly calling and they say they would send the person at the
                              earliest.
                              I have spoken to shubangi, supervisor saurav (who mentioned wud give a
                              call back but did not keep up his word), sumeen.Can anybody explain
                              what is going around and godrej cant solve the customers request why
                              do they have to take the request in first place . I am going to
                              publish this in newspaper with the events following no response.

                              I would appreciate if any higher authority looks into the same at the
                              earliest and do the needful.

                                I have installed Godrej main door locks to my flat just 4 months ago. And of all a sudden the lock is not working and I called up Godrej customer call center. Someone provided some help in booking the complaint and also said that it will be attended in TWO days. When I called the customer care it is Saturday night 8:30 PM and it is so frustrating to know that for next two days I need to keep the door unlocked. It is an emergency; i trusted the Godrej locks and none in the apartment have installed the outside door latch which is genuinely not put these days to avoid the attention from the thieves. Even after requesting for an immediate attention OR to provide me the General Manager/MD or some authorized Godrej person’s number to deal such requests, customer care seems to be very immature in handling the case and all that he say to say is that, "i tried from my end and you need to wait for two days"

                                Godrej's policy is worst. Can the company think towards handling such crisis management and provide the world class customer satisfaction for emergencies? Also set an example for really saying that their locks protect our houses? OR is this something which Godrej wants to genuinely trouble people for buying their products? Some services like this need emergency handling and there is no meaning for a wait. What if the godrej's person gets an emergency for his life on a Saturday night and the hospital security/causality people tell him to wait for two working days at the door of the hospital because that is how a hospital is working, would he respect the hospital policy and wait for his death? Locks to home is also very critical and I hope Godrej understands this if they still want to continue this business and be their for the customers else let them close the business and at least not make people suffer at nights and weekends for some of their bad policies which I think is a big gap in their so called safety.

                                  I am Bharat Bansal, resident of Gurgaon. My contact number is [protected]. I had purchaseed Godrej lock (godrej ultra tribolt) from hardware solutions (Sikanderpur) on 10th April'11. My lock instalaltion request no. is GGN1003834. As per their commitment, Godreg engineer was suppose to visit within 2 working days i.e by 12th April. But today is 17th April and no-one turned up so far... I have been continuing following up on this, but didn't get any positive reply neither from vendor, nor from the company. My main concern is that tonight am going out of town, and am at present living alone in this house, and the lock that is suppose to be fit-in, is of main door of my house. I can not leave this as it is, and move out of the house.

                                  To add to this, I had a word with Godrej customer care, the vendor guys, and Godrej engineer...no-one helped me in this regard...

                                  I had gone for Godrej locks, just because of it's goodwill and great reputation, but unfortunately i have had worst experience with Godrej. And I would never recommend godrej appliances to any of the contact in my circle. To me Godrej is the worst service provider, and one should never trust it's services.

                                    I had purchased one godrej lock on 20th September'09. I have been told that installation would be done within 72 hours. I called vendor 3 times and more than 5 times to contractor who would installed the lock. I had also lodged complaint on their web sites but till date lock is not installed. One can under stand that lock on main gate is so important with safety point of view.

Unfortunately i purchased one lock on 12th Nov but today is 22nd Nov no one turned up. Everytime i receive response from the call center that technician will come next day and will get the things done but nothing happens.

                                    I am surprised to see such response from Godrej like organization but can understand how muck control they have on their dealer/technicians.

                                      Pathetic Customer Service

                                      We purchased Godrej main door lock and key at one of the dealers at Bangalore; who mentioned to us that the free installation of the same will be done, once we speak to the helpline[protected] number. Accordingly, we gave a call to request for the same.
                                      The customer service executive mentions to us that the installation team will not come on Day Zero (day of call), or the next day (Day 1) ; but will definetly come on Day 2 (two...
