Hathway — Refund after cancellation of Hathway broadband

Hi All, I have subscribed for hathway broadband connection on 29th April 2015 by paying Rs- 3030 for 3 month. Everyday I was getting update from customer care executive and the person who has taken money that connection will be established by EOD. I think they do not know the meaning of EOD. Finally on 2nd May they gave me Cable after after following up with them but till 3rd EOD They did not install modem. So, I have decided to cancel subscription and made Cancellation request through customer care executive. Today morning when I called up customer care executive then I got an information like by EOD I will get an update from them about cancellation request but I did not get any update. While cancelling I got an update from customer care executive that in their system it is not showing my amount which I paid. I thought of checking this thing with the person who has taken money but he has switched off his mobile. I have the receipt of payment which I maid. So, I really need your help in order to get my subscription amount back from them. Kindly call me back if you need any information. I am facing similar issue, subscribed for 6 months package last time just ~1 month before relocating to new place, Hathaway side confirmed that it is not feasible to provide connection in new place, when I asked for refund, they denied and saying there will be no refund. Need to get back ~5months payment, but the customer care as well raising ticket multiple times did not help.

Can someone help please.

NEVER EVER TAKE HATHWAY. They are highly irresponsibility.
I need to disconnect my broadband connection but any of your customer care numbers are not working in delhi. Please suggest the alternate way. I need to disconnect immediately and need my security deposit.

This is a worst service I have ever seen. There is no response from any of the associate after taking money. They come in ten minutes from wherever they are but doesn't even lift the call or react for the connection if asked.

This has to be escalated in a serious way. God knows how many people are getting stuck in this process.

Please do not take this connection. worse-st service ever in India.
I have disconnected my Hathway broadband in 2016. But now, got a call from Hathway to pay the pending bill amount of 5000+. Even after paying the amount, I was not able to terminate the broadband connection. Still getting the bills. I have reached the customer care multiple times. YES, no one should take this connection. Bad services and they have refused to refund my payment after they miserably failed at providing their services. First, their CUSTOMER CARE initiated a refund and said it will be refunded in 15-20 days. Later one of their senior professionals call and talk about their ### policies and say no refund. Bunch of losers and cheats.
I had recharged Hathway Prepaid broadband for 1 yr & used it for 9 months. Then I shifted to another area in same city. Hathway didnt shift my connection to that area because they were not able to provide service there. So I requested to refund my 3 months amount. But they are refusing saying that prepaid recharge once done is not refunded in any case. This is a wrong way to treat the customer. If company is not able to provide service it should refund the amount to the customer otherwise the company is cheating the customer.
Same sort of thing is happening to me. They said to the place I relocate doesn't have hathway point so can't give connection... I had paid for 3 months and used only 18 days. Now they said they can't refund. I am losing almost 2000 rupees in this. Can some one please help on this.

Hathway has horrible internet service and when you call customer service, situation gets worse. Both, Customer and internet services are bad. If you want to try how bad they are don't indulge in their full year subscription for sure, you will regret it. And a month or so extra in their plan is a complete scam, I never got a month's subscription free. They deserve negative ratings!!
The people working at customer service can't handle consumer complaints and say it will work in few hours to keep you quiet. Obviously, it doesn't work and you call again and there's a new person to "handle" your complaints who has no idea what you were told and then they find customers frustrating because of their own incompetence
Hathway people are the biggest cheats with no ethics. After returning the modem and closing the account no [protected], they promised to refund the security deposit of Rs 400 and took details of my bank account. After waiting for a month, when I called their customer service, they said that refund cannot be processed as your account is less than 3 years old. The fact is that Hathway is not 3 years old in Chennai !
I used their services for 1 year and was never satisfied because of multiple issues and downtimes. The worst company I have come across. Switched over to Airtel, no problem till now.
Subscribed for the three month connection with big words from your executives about connectivity.. paid the money after confirming with the executive about the feasibility of connection in my area .Inspite of frequent followup with your customer care with no results coming and waste of time, all I could do is terminate .. what about my refund .. are u an organisation where ppl have to donate their money .. very irresponsible executive .. no proper tracking system .. pathetic response towards customer complaints
I have disconnected my Hathway connection on March 1st and its been nearly 20 days. Still I have not received my refund amount. They have committed me like they will do the refund in one week. But still we didn't receive any response and money. Could anyone say me whom to contact for this and is there any procedure for refund.

I have done the my payment RS.3179 through online but after payment that concern person is said "we are not able to provide the connection at that place" after that nobody is responding on phone .Please help me what is my next step and am really suffering to contact hathway customer service and [protected] phone is not working. It's worst service, I have raised relocation request 10days ago, shifting of modem is done. Account is not activated, I am calling customer care everyday twice or thrice everytime they are saying it will be resolved in 24 hours. I was so frustrated with the words like recorded words(every time same words). Till now the issue is not resolved.
They are not providing any contact person or technical team phone no.
I asked for refund my money(paid 6 months amonut), They are not even telling about refund process.

Worst customer service ever, I paid like 3k for getting the connection. After the transaction was done, the technician is not at all taking the call. I called him more than 20 times, he is not picking the call and finally his mobile got switched off. Only, thing I have with me is the receipt. I don't know whom to contact. When, I tried reaching customer care their service is unavailable due to COVID-19. I don't want this bad network who don't know the value of their customers, please refund my amount. I have attached the payment receipt and also I have attached the details of the person to whom I contacted for getting the connection. Even, the address in the screenshot is not correct and also the google maps is disabled. Such, a fraud network and technicians.

I have taken hathway connection during lock down and I was told that I will be getting 15mphs speed to which I just getting less than 1mphs. I complaint twice but they closed one of my ticket number without informing me. Also the customer executive was very rude on call.
The number and the email ID that is provided on renewal emails are fake.
My email was not accepted and I received failure msgs that its not delivered. I tried to call the number provided that were wrong.
It's worrrrst service provider. It's better to use Hotspot than to go for Hathway services.. These kind of services should not receive any star.. Not even 1...
