My name is Ram dutt three months ago i have purchasce a Dual sim mobile phone WM3708i from Home shop18.Order no[protected]. According to phone Specification it is a Wap, GPRS activated phone and I am trying many time to connect it but i cannot use this function becuse every time it shows OTA not supported message. i trying to contact with service provider many time but i think no service facility available in delhi. They are cheat with customer and missguide the innocent people and i suggest to another people please don't buy any stuff from homeshop18
I purchased one Camcorder from you and when I using this product only one time from the purchased that time its capture button broken inside the camcorder, it is not handling difect it is a manufacturing defect . I already sent camcorder through T&T courrier service and registered this complaint but the product is not repair and returnback to me,

When this product is manufacturing defect it is not my problem it is your facult I want correct reply from your side, suppose you are not give satisfied reply i will going to comsumer court and to give a ad. to our kerala daily from your quality of your product

this is for your kind information and necessary action as soon as possible

    I had ordered one TOPPER 10th Exam special DVD worth 500Rs for my daughter in the month of Sep 2009 from the online portal of HomeShop18.

    They had promptly delivered an EMPTY I repeat EMPTY DVD box without any DVD. This has come through bluedart one of the premier courier company ( incidentally the same courier person delivered
    me cd/dvd s worth 2200Rs from learnnext.com for my daughter again)so I can not doubt the courier
    agency and infact the package is neatly securely packed.

    I had informed them immediately after receiving the package. They had promised me the moon
    but nothing had actually happened.

    I left a online feedback through their site for which they replied " the product is already delivered"
    without actually going into my previous complaints.

    It is again interesting that they do not have any email address for the feedback. you have to use
    their website only.

    Overall in my 5-7 years of online experience this is the first shocking incident of ridiculously
    poor and pathetic customer service. I am posting this so that others take suitable precautions.
    I had purchased many items through sify/rediff/autsun but never like this happened.

    May god give them proper thinking power so that they try to solve customer problems as soon
    as possible.

    it is more shocking since this is from a reputed firm belonging to TV18 etc.,( I happen to be their
    share holder ha ha ha. .. )

      I recently bought a mobile phones named H20 dual sim (model no.-V812) and also deccan pearls set set Rs 4490 and Rs 1599/- and our order no. were[protected] and[protected] respectively . The set we recieved was already having crack and when we asked the service man about it he told us to contact the company directly since his work was only confined to collect money.When we recieved our mobile phone ,its headset was not working properly moreover the booklet they provided was not at all sufficient for understanding its functions properly .also another case was that connector was not there in the set which should be there because the charger pin was of different shape . The mobile touch screen stopped working after 1 week only and when we used to call the customer service they fistly do not attend our call or after listening the problems ,asked us to wait for their service man to replace our order . we are still in wait for service man .... kindly do not buy anything from homeshop18 since these people are a big gang of fraud and deserve nothing but a kick . ....

      Home Shop 18 — Defected Mobile

      Sir,

      have purchased one Motorola E-685 mobile from home shop but they have sent me a used mobile. After that I have sent the mobile for
      replacement but they again sent me a Locked Mobile. i have contacted so many times to home shop 18 but they didnt satisfy me in any manner. I have came to
      motorola Service Centre but they denied to open the lock. Home shop have also told me for refund of courier charges for replacement of mobile but i have not received Rs. 345/- till date please sir help me regarding this matter. They have also not sent the bill of the mobile.

      I placed an order from HomeShop18 for an AirFone mobile phone.
      I received it within 3 days but the phone was defective. it said Invalid SIM. I tried a no of Sim cards which all work on different phones but not on this one in any of the 2 slots. I returned the phone. after 16 days I received the replacement product and that also had the same defect, infact after trying 2 sim cards it just showed AIRFONE written on it and didnt go anywhere from there. I dont think they replaced or even fixed the phone and when I called them and asked for a supervisor they refused a supervisor, asked me to wait for 72 hrs and I wud get a call from them. They Gave Me a complaint No. and I didnt receive any response from them. when I called I was told that I need to send the mobile back and the manufacturer wud determine whether I was eligible for a refund or not. so that ways I lose the mobile and the money too!!!Honestly their customer service and their product policies are terrible!!! I have lost Rs. 5000 on a defective mobile.

        I had purchased an imedia touch screen phone based on the tv advertisement on channel home shop 18 on which they assured a no question asked 15 days money back on non liking of the product.

        List of complaints.

        1) This cell phone is a china phone, which is not being informed to the customers in the advertisement, which misguides the customers and i am a victim of the same as I never intended buying a china phone.

        2) the imei number provided by the company for this cell phone is not recognized by my netwrk service provider (loop) and very soon will be barred by other network providers as well. Its not even recognized in the genuine imei list when i checked online. Due to this I am not abl to use the cell phone as it shows as an invalid sim

        3) home shop 18 is turning off from its words of a 15 days money back, when i demanded the same as this cell phone is creating a lot of hassels for me.

        4) Being a China phone the charger of provided along with this phone was dead on the 1st use itself.

        5) Even the touchscreen does not function properly.

        6) When called for a refund the hs18 customer service excecutive arrogantly refuses the refund as promised into the ad stating they do not provide a refund once sim is inserted into the cell phone which was not stated before buying the product. They said refund with no questions asked within 15 days the product is bought.

        i demand a full refund for the hard earned money I have spent for this useless and worthless things and request some kind of regulations to be imposed on these kinna home shopping to protect the interest of innocent customers.

        I AM GOING TO BUY THIS MOBILE .PLEASE SUGGEST .
        I purchased mobile phone through homeshop18, code no. 36906,
        i media touch screen mobile.I did receive abovesaid order but the batteries provided with mobile phone are 1200 mAh.As per specications given on web site of homeshop18, the batteries are 1800 mAh, but what i received, are 1200 mAh.So I have problem to charge the battery every one and half day.I did complaint to homeshop18 and ask them to give me replacement of batteries, but till I not get batteries with 1800 mAh.
        I also purchased Imedia Touch Screen Mobile From HS18 of Rs. 5499. But when I came to know from my friend that this is a Chinnese phone and easily available in 3000/ in the market. I got shocked but has not to do now. But this is total loot with the customers as they rightly said on TV in their advertisements.
        When I bought cell phone of i media touch screen mobile, it's touch screen get defected in first use only.

          Dear Sir,
          I sapana kumar padhy book a product at homeshop18 on 22 aug 2009 and pay 4499/- advance for that product which is full amount of product, on 24 aug 2009. at that time company assured me that he will give my product with in 10-12 days of payment, but till now i already give 10 to 12 times complain at their customer care support and they always told me that "your product will be deliver to you with in 2 days" but till now my product is not handover to me.

          so now how i can take my product from such type of company as soon as possible please show me the proper way..

            I had purchased an Imedia Iphone through the Homeshop18 website by opting for their 0% Interest free EMI scheme using my Citibank credit card. Before making the payment, I made it a point to go through their website for any conditions on using this facility but could not find any. I then called up their customer care and spoke to an associate there who assured me that there would be no extra charges as they have a tie-up with Citibank, HDFC and ICICI banks. It is only after all this thorough cross-checking that I finally went ahead and made my payment.

            Last month when I got my credit card statement, I noticed that I was charged interest on my EMI. I immediately contacted the customer care as well as sent a feedback through their website informing them of these extra charges. They asked me to send a scanned copy of my credit card statement which I did so immediately.

            Today, after a month, I got a call from them informing me that my particular credit card does not have provisions for interest free EMI. I asked the lady where it was mentioned that only certain cards are eligible for this EMI facility. To this she accused me of not reading my credit card's terms and conditions. I then pointed out to her about the listing on Homeshop18 website regarding the EMIs (see snap shot below). Nowhere is there a mention of this false claim. Even their associate did not mention any such conditions to me.

            I am truly appalled by such deceitful tactics employed by Homeshop18 to lure unsuspecting customers.

            If anyone is planning to opt for interest free EMIs, please DO NOT fall for this trap.

            thses people said that the credit instalment will change on an automated basis but as it has been mentioned that the bill was not converted to EMI, I actually had to fight with these HS18 & icici credit card guys on a concall for getting the same done

            Very untrue thse Home shop 18 guys
            Do not but anything from them now the call centre people will say the same system mentioned messages that it will take another one week. DON'T BELEIVE HOMESHOP 18 they are LIARS...

              I placed order No[protected] for Olumpus DigiCam FE25 on Homeshop 18. I returned it back due to following problems existing init i.e. Power backup, No audio in video recording, lance of camara too many time jammed. I returned it with TNT courier (Homeshop18 partner courier). Its almost passed 24 days but no refund was made to me and I also acknowledge one correction in name my name is RAMESH KUMAR SINGH and you are processing all of my queries by name of RAMESH SINGH. How many days later I get back my refund. Its just opposite the claim you are making on TV shows that with in 15 days you refund back money. I am making many calls to your call centre and spending too much money and not receiving any response from your site and I have left no any other option to go the consumer court and claim my refund.

I returned it back due to following problems existing init i.e. Power backup, No audio in video not properly work, bluetooth not connect, touch screen not working, charger pin brake inside packet, all features are not working. I returned it by hand at nakamichi company situated at saidulajab. Its almost passed 24 days but no refund was made . How many days later I get back my refund. Its just opposite the claim you are making on TV shows that with in 15 days you refund back money.                   HomeShop 18 — CHEATING AND UNETHICAL BEHAVIOUR

                  IN THE MONTH OF JULY I ORDERED A TOUCH SCREEN PHONE OF MEDIATECH COMPANY I PAID 5990 FOR THE SAME TO HOMESHOP 18 BUT WHEN I RECIEVED THE PHONE I CAME TO KNOW THAT IT WAS FAKE CHINESE PHONE WHICH WAS AVAILABLE IN THE MARKET FOR ONLY 2000 RS SO FIRST I WAS CHEATED BY THIS COMPANY THEN THE WORST THING HAPPENED WHEN IN ONLY 5 MONTHS BOTH THE BATTERIES AND CHARGER BOTH WERE NOT WORKING AND SOME ONE TOLD ME THAT THESE ACCESORIES WERE TOTALLY DUPLICATE,THEN I CALLED HOMESHOP 18 AND ASKED ONLY FOR THE REPLACEMENT THEY ASKED ME TO SEND THE PHONE,BATTERIES AND CHARGER TO THE MEDIATECH COMPANY IN BANGLORE BUT MEDIATECH RETURNED THE SAME USELESS THINGS STATING THAT WE WILL NOT REPLACE.

                  Name: CVN Maruthi Krishna, I have sent the Intex mobile QT 2020 which is sent for repair on 19th october 2010. The problem is outgoing (i.e they unable to hear my voice to other end).
                  I explained the problem to vendor with covering letter & thru phone on 18 oct 2010

                  Today morning i got the product on 30 october 2010, with same problem. I have spoken to Home shop at 5.15Pm 30 october 2010 he replied returned the product to intex. this is 3rd time to send the product (first time 1. Keypad problem 2. Outgoing problem (i.e they unable to hear my voice to other end).

                  HomeShop 18 — wrong product received

                  I had ordered Whirpool 20 Ltr Mc Grill Microwave Oven product no.[protected] as on dated 16.01.2011 and paid full payment in advance i.e. Rs. 4299/- through Blue Dart courier. After 15 days on 02-02-11, I received the product but when I opened it, it was wrong product, in place of Mc Grill Oven it was Solo Microwave. I had registered my complaint to whirpool customer care(complaint no. DN[protected], but informed by them that this is a mistake from vendor side. I registered my complaint to Homeshop 18.
                  My complaint no. is 62920359 which is given by your executives to me on 07.02.2011. From that date I am continuously following up and every time getting some new excuse.
                  Last time they ensured me that your product will be exchanged on Monday i.e. 28.02.2011, But today also inspite of getting my right product, I got another excuse that product is out of stock and will take another 1 week.
                  Please note that I have ordered my product on 16.01.2011, but one and a half month has been passed and I did not get my right product, which is really a very careless attitude towards a customer.

                  This is Om and i ordered two items on 15th Sep, 2012. The order # was[protected] and Homeshop18 delivered only one item and the another one there is no status of it. I talked 3 times to CC but not responded well just told me you will get your product but when noone knows. Even i wrote 3 times mail to CC but didn't get proper reply. what to do now i dont know. I gave my mobile # to CC to get a callback and CC told me that i will get callback in next 24 hrs but i didn't get any callback.

                  I think homeshop18 is a big cheater. If you order more than one item then he will deliver you only the cheapest one. His customer care is worst even ticket service too.

                  I would suggest everyone not to buy anything from homeshop18 as he is a big cheater. This was my first and last shopping with it.

                    Bought DVD and MP3 combo from Homeshop 18. Mp3 was defective. I asked for replacement of mp3. after a lot of requests, they replaced it. but this too was not functioning. it was not at all being recognised by PC or DVD. I asked for refund or replacement. They made false assurances that they are arranging pick up for repacement but it never happened. now it is 3 months from my purchase and i am waiting for replacement. now they dont even reply to my emails. I want to inform all consumers not to buy from homeshop 18 and also request that Homeshop18 shud be forced to replace mp3.

                    i purchased a convex portable dvd player code no.7080-nr, order no.[protected] on 04-09-08.with 1 year warranty.after somtime it became defective and i sent it to home shop 18, noida on 24-12-08 for repairing or replacing it.after calling on phone so many times they send back an another customers defective piece on 24-02-09.when i called them again on phone they said they will make a return call but they did not made it till now.take action against them and i want my money back of rs 4999.

                    This is regarding my order number[protected]. I ordered Carlton London Women Black Shoes - CLL-2441-BLACK-PU - 6 Size 6, Carlton London Women Black Sandals - CLL-2528-BLACK - 6 Size 6 on 25th December 2012. I got the products but size 6 was oversize for me. I called the customer care number and raised complaint to ship me size 5 for both the products. The agent raised request for only the sandals, I came to know when I called again for getting update. I then raised complaint for the shoes again. The products were picked un by Aramex courier services and as told by the CC agents, I called everytime to update the courier acknowledgement details and made sure each time that my exact problem has been correctly updated. On 11th january I got the products and to my utter surprise, I again got back the same size 6 products. I have been co-ordinating with the customer service team on regular basis to make things easy from both ends, from my end I was responsible enough to update all the necessary details, dates, acknowledgement numbers, etc. I opened complaints 78161721 and 78161839 again on 11th January 2013 for getting SIZE 5 for both the products. I call customer care and the stupid agents, they don't even know how to speak english, they cannot tell me any details and put me on hold for such long time that I become frustrated and disconnect the call. This is consuming my time, my money and the issue is also not getting resolved. I have made full payment on 25th December 2012 through my cerdit card. My money is spent and I don't even have the product and the customer care team is increasing my mobile bills. There is no way I can talk talk to someone who has brains in the customer care. I am really unhappy and need resolution ASAP.

                          hi i am manoj p from trivandrum of kerala state.

                          i ordered an mp3 player from homeshop18 after seeing an advertisement in malayalam daily
                          mathrubhumi and my order number was[protected].

                          i recd the item with its screen loose and handing inside its body.
                          i complained the case with their toll free number and the complaint
                          registration number is 1871595.

                          further the item was not as shown on the advertisement and the couriered player
                          was without a headphone.

                          after calling their toll free number two days later
                          i got two numbers for contacting . no sms was send to my phone
                          as they do when u order and item. one number is of an
                          electronics shop by the name "unisef electronics" in hyderabad
                          and i am still not able to contact the other person because his mobile is
                          always out of range.

                          it is funny that they dont have anyone to contact in kerala whom i can courier the item.
                          the site is cheating. my sincere advise is that avoid homeshop18.

                          Home Shop 18 — False Commitment / Faulty Product

                          Hi

                          I bought a Fujezone e-phone mobile phone from Home shop18 with order#[protected] dated:-21st September'09.

                          i received the mobile on 5th Oct'09 in the morning & paid the amount.
                          I found that mobile phone is not working ( not getting signals) , wherein the same sim is working fine in other mobile phone, i tried using other sim under the impression that it might be sim problem but found same issue with other sim also. I called customer care (home shop 18) on the same day & asked for money back as they've committed 15 days money back offer. but 1st customer care executive disconnected the call in between the conversation & other said that they'll not return the money as i've inserted the sim in mobile. without inserting sim in the mobile phone no one will be able to check the functionality. finally when i insisted then he registered a complaint with ref# 2087147 & committed that within 48-72 Hrs they'll get back to me but till now no response.

                          I request you to please look into the matter & help me.

                          I have Ordered the Fuzezone Dual sim Mobile from Home shop18, my order No:[protected] dt: 27-11-09 which was shipped thru Blue dart courier [protected] dt 02.12.09
                          I have noticed the that phone was not working properly as it was not recognizing the SIM card ( not getting signals, wherein the same sim was working fine in other mobile phone). This may be due to wrong IMEI No. although they claim that all mobiles of Homeshop18 are having valid IMEI numbers. After 3-4 days the phone was also not getting started after charging the battery with either of the two batteries supplied.
                          The same has been conveyed to customer care vide complaint no. 2589327 & they committed that within 48Hrs they'll get back to me by their technical deptt. or the money will be refunded, but no action in this regard has been taken and not even the address of Mobile company was given so that I can courier the same for repair/replacement. The customer care was then contacted many times but all in vain.

                          I request you to please look into the matter & help me.

                                homeshop18 is not replacing my product it is having an fault. they have given us 15 day money back gaurantee and product got falt in that gaurantee period but they and tell us to co-operate and has changed the product but product again got the fault it is in warranty period and now they are not picking the product through courier as there procedure is. when i have costomer care they just cut the line when i confired my name.there delivery pick up is 166312 and my complaint number is 74099 as suggested earlier by ther costomer care

                                  I have booked two product order(Camcoder wespro and Samsung 8 mega pixel digital camera) from home shop 18 on 13 & 14 july 09, after seeing there 24 hour home shop 18 channel. There phone excecutive confirmed my order as well as my payment, received through credit card. Then one day one executive call me up and ask for my document(credit card latest month statement, my Pan card scand copy and my voter card scaned copy) that i forwarded them through email. Now on 20 july 09 they have cancelled my order and answered that this is internal decission and amount will be refund you in next 15 days.

                                  I am not happy with this, these people waste my time as well as my money becoz i have paid that amount through credit card and i have to pay the card money with intrest and processing fee.

                                    This is with regards to order nos.[protected] and[protected] placed on Homeshop18.com on June 22nd and June 23rd 2009. The orders being a Inalsa Cook Top Harmony CB (3 Burner) and a Inalsa Cooker Hood Prima BK - Black.
                                    The products were supposed to be delivered in 8-10 working days. However after following up with the customer care regularly, I was told that there is a slight delay in the product and it will take another 3-5 business days for the product to be delivered. The customer care center also verified that the order has been dispatched on the 26th of June 2009 and is stuck up with courier. They denied providing any information on the airway bill number of concerned courier.
                                    Today (07/07/09) I received a mail from Homeshop18 that both my orders have been cancelled, citing no reasons for cancellation.
                                    Given the nature of the products, they were key to moving in to my new apartment and a non delivery of the same after 15 days of the payment would mean that I will have to order it online somewhere else and get it delivered in the next week or two. Which means that I have to extend my rented stay by at least another couple of weeks, which would cost me Rs.7, 500/-. Apart from that my money is stuck up with Homeshop18 for the last 15 days and probably for the next 6-8 working days.
                                    Homeshop18 should:
                                    1. Provide the reason for non compliance with sale given that the sale is a binding contract between the two parties when the payment has been made.
                                    2. Refund the full amount of the sale.
                                    3. Refund atleast 15 days of rent (which they wasted) and the interest on the payment made to them

                                      I had booked an IFB 20 L Micro oven and the order no was[protected] and the same was delived to me vide sub order no. 70942227 on 3-3-2009.
                                      Till now I have not received the starter kit which was supposed to be delived along with the same. In spite of several call made to your 24x7 phone lines the same answer is given to me that your complaint is registered and you will reveive the same within 2-3 days but till date 3 months have passed I have not received the kit.
                                      After seeing the Micro Oven my sister and my cousin brother also ordered and received the same and they also till today have not received the starter kit even inspite of several complaints made by them
                                      This attitude of Homeshop18 clearly shows that cheating innocent public & people is their only business.
                                      The way they talk over phone on receiving the request with very sweet voice any person gets hyptonised.
                                      Something should be done to stop this before many innocent people will fall prey for them.

                                      I also faced lot of problems with IFB. The washing machine i bought was defective and after replacing twice the machine could start. But that to started giving problem, service personal never respond as promised by call centre. After long wait they visit and not able to rectify the fault in one or two visits. IFB has a useless product and cheating the customers.

                                        Hi, self hd ordered a 78pc dinner set on 31/05/09 ref#[protected] for which I got a confirmation on 04/06 that it has been dispatched under ref#71317841. On 08/06 afternoon I got a call from First Flight that parcel is ready & will be dispatched either that day evening or next day morning i.e.09/06. Self checked with First Flight on 09/06 by abt 11:00hrs & was told that parcel is on the way however I didn’t get it till 16:00hrs & got a call from first flight that you will get the parcel in next two days. Had called Homeshop helpline regarding this on 09/06 evening & was told by Customer Svc Agent(Mr.Sayeed) that as per system the parcel has returned to them with a reason given by First Flight that no one was present at home at the time of delivery so they had to return the parcel & now I have to place a fresh order which will take another 8-10days which I was not ready to do but later Mr.Sayeed convinced me to do so & I did but due to some system error couldn’t get the order no. Have explained the complete matter to Mr.Sayeed & have filed a complaint for this delay, complaint ref#1603648.
                                        After speaking to Mr.Sayeed I called up First Flight(Mr.Suresh) & told them that how come no one has come yet for which I got an apology from him & he confirmed me to deliver the parcel next day i.e.10/06 by 12:00hrs & as per the commitment parcel was finally delivered as per commitment. All the 78pc set was intact & in good order however the Box or the packing was broken & not sealed for which reason given by First Flight was that it’s jst due to excess traveling.Since I was not at home my mom took the parcel thoroughly checked each & every piece then accepted it. My only concern is that this is no the right approach towards customer.
                                        This was my first order with Homeshop & with this kind of service i would surely not commit this mistake of buying from Homeshop18 again...
                                        Best part is that even if you register a complaint online you will not receive any confirmation or feedback on your complaint..

                                        Homeshop18 — steel is not good

                                        I received your product but steel quality is not good so pls return my item and refund my money.
