House Owner / Landlord — Electricity cut for late rent

I am writing to file a complaint against my landlord for cutting off my electricity as a result of delayed rent payment. I believe that this action is a violation of my human rights and is causing me significant hardship and suffering.

As a tenant, I have a right to basic utilities such as electricity, and it is the landlord's responsibility to provide and maintain these services. However, my landlord cut off my electricity without any prior notice, which has left me without any means of lighting, cooking, heating or even charging my phone. This has greatly affected my daily life and has put my health and safety at risk.

I have tried to resolve this issue by speaking with my landlord, but they gave time till tomorrow to pay rent or else they cut down electricity and water. I strongly believe that my landlord's action is a violation of my human rights, and I am seeking your intervention to ensure that my rights are protected.

I am requesting the Human Rights Commission to investigate this matter and take appropriate action against my landlord. I am also seeking your guidance and support in resolving this issue, and ensuring that my landlord respects my rights as a tenant.
